Everybodies Kung Fu Fighting!

Everybody's kung fu fighting.

As in, "Everybody is kung fu fighting." "Everybody" doesn't have a plural. It doesn't really need one since it covers everybody.

This has been your gratutious language lesson for the day.

I'm not here to make you laugh.

Drugs produce chemical changes in the body.

There is no clear cause and effect for the Yellow sun, why Superman's body reacts they way it does to my knowledge. For all we knoe it could be the result of some science adption that Kyrptonians need to have when their sun, change from one colour to another. it even possible that it actaully and Adptation created from when their star became a red Giant or something.
There's no supporting canon for this hypothesis.

Err... If by "yet" you mean by the time I posted, perhaps. By NOW, they have been given multiple times. And anyone has access to that information by typing [ninja run] in their chat line. You don't need to have the power to see its stats. As well, it IS a hell of a lot faster than Sprint partly because it STACKS with Sprint, which everyone has, and partly because it has twice the speed, something I listed way back in the beginning of the thread, myself.

And "don't he hatin'" just makes me laugh. Really, it does. I sat here for, like, 5 minutes straight trying to think of an answer to that and I can help but just chuckle, so I'm afraid that chuckle is going to have to do for a reply.

i'm pretty sure the higher energy output of yellow suns effectively supercharging Kryptonian physiology adapted to using the lower energy from a red sun has been canon in the past if it isn't now. Of course most of the time the reasons and details are just handwaved and sidestepped unless a given writer feels like making it a plot point.

Krypton had a red sun. That's pretty much the only explanation we get.

Even better since the actual like goes: "Everybody WAS kung fu fighting." Yeah, it bugs me every time I click on this thread.

That wasn't the argument.

Which argument? Obviously not the natural vs. science argument about Superman then.
What's the current argument regarding Superman that i must've missed while reading the thread?

The fellow I was directing my rebuttal to was trying to say the entire Kryptonian species had been Scientifically transformed by their star becoming a red giant. In other words, he's calling evolution a Science origin.

I think Tech and Natural origins are very ambiguous and wide range in this game.
Positron's origin, while narratively interesting, is a MESS when it comes to the game's origins systems. By his explanation (in the Origins of Power arc), he has the ability to create minute amounts of anti-matter, which do nothing more than create big explosions. So he's a mutant, purely technically speaking, making him Mutation. But because he's also a scientist and built his suit to harness and project the energy he can create, he can be said to be Technology. It's a fine line to tread, and Matt Miller has chosen to make him Technology. Given that origins don't make a lot of difference and are largely up to the player (and given that he's lead developer) his decision is very much final.

I can, however, easily spin that as Science just by shifting the focus of narrative. With a suit of power armour, he is very much tech. Altered into something like Dr. Aeon, who essentially has power gloves and not much else, the focus then shifts onto the power source with the focusing device being merely a tool, and suddenly we have a Science hero. That's part of what makes origins so cool - you can spin them a lot if you put your mind to it.

I paid 10$ for a prestige sprint, 4 emotes, and some great costume options.

I was wondering if we could get the Warrior belt with the tight chest option?

It does if you're flying. It gets you to the fly cap. I use it as an afterburner.

that's a non response since Sprint stacks with
Super Speed
Fly
Super Jump

So comparing NR+Sprint to Fly/SS/SJ without is disingenuous at best

You missed my first point which was that powers didn't have to forever. that was my point.

There no supporting Canon for why supermans's powers work anyways!

We know that exposure to yellow sunlight grants him and other Kryptonians these powers, and that there is no sign of their physiology becoming un-Kryptonian, ergo we can deduce it's as natural as, as Sam put it, gaining nourishment from food.

While you can have Sprint and Fly running at the same time, they don't "stack" - you don't fly faster with Sprint on, and you don't run faster with Fly on. The same applies to Super Jump.

You don't have the power that Deduce it that any more than it was genetic modification from thousands of years ago in reaction to som event in the past. a number of options are possible because it is an completly UNKNOWN Process.

I really like Ninja run, myself, I just wish it was slotable.
