I17 might actually be GR - although there's a possibility they could release one more Issue before GR goes live, but it's not certain yet.

Well, these demons are most decidedly not that. Who cares if they look like Flesh Golems? They are completely new, really cool demons with a fire whip that don't recycle any of the current powers. And I LOVE it! Even before I've seen the things, I love the concept.
I'm going to disagree with the assessment that Cryptic would have just thrown together some Behemoths and Imps to create a Demon Summoning set. Both Cryptic and Paragon have always been committed to *not* reusing art to create a Pet Set but instead creating brand new models and kickass upgrade and summons animations.

Where Cryptic would be at fault if they still had the CoH IP would be keeping only 15 Devs on CoH with BAB the sole animator making it nearly impossible to have the time to actually create a new MM set.

With regard to the current look of the Demons: I don't see how they're a copy of the Flesh Golems. Angel class characters have similar looks; Zombie class characters have similar looks; and Demon class characters have similar looks. Within the class of 'Demons' the two looks posted here are different enough.

My pitiful Search Fu efforts could not yield the thread that talked about Marcus Cole being blond. It was then said that he used shoe polish in his initial Statesman costume to help conceal his identity.

Or I could have taken one too many boulders from Warwolves, but I thought Marcus Cole was supposed to be blond.

Not that an Eeeeeeeeevil Marcus Cole could not dye his hair to match his heart (evil laugh.)

Anyone else remember anything to that effect? It is no biggie, but that is what I thought.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

I think he looks better with dark hair - it's more brooding

Its been posted in a few threads, but basically Samuraiko/Dark_Respite sent Manticore a PM to ask about Cole's hair color for her video and yes, his answer was blond. It should also be noted that Reichsman's hair is to dark to be called blond.

I'd even settle for after the 2nd mission like most of the Red side and newer contacts

I still have the PM from Hero 1. Yes - Statesman is blond, Recluse is dark-haired.

You know, ideally, they should make Statesman a blond, Tyrant a redhead, and Reichsman a brunette...

Just seems to fit if you ask me...

I want to read your edition of 1984 - I had to read mine twice (once for pleasure, a second time on my degree course) and I don't recall any dual pistol gun-play in it

Well we know one one common trait of all Marcus Coles across the multiverse. They all dye their hair.

Well, the rest of it. Throw in gun-fu from any of the hundred other sources that have it...

Don't know if anyone has said this, but... I think it was Matt Miller (Posi) who answered a very similar question to this, specifically about Ghost Widow, by saying...

Well, Ghost Widow probably wouldn't have died in Praetoria. I think Belladonna Vetrano would make an excellent member of the Resistance.

I didn't put quotes around it because it isn't exact, but it is awfully close.

In the original video of CoH, with Statesman's first incarnation, he had dark hair. In some of the comics where he had a ripped costume, iirc, he had dark hair.

Reich's has brown hair, Emperor Cole has dark hair...
It looks MUCH better that way. Blonde doesn't really work with that sort of build, character or with the costumes.

Actually the Comic gave him a light sandy hair color:

both modernly and at the well:

Wouldn't the whole Aryan thing mean Reichsman makes the most sense as the blond?

This is widely considered to be Belladonna Vetrano.
