...finally work 100%! Hit FX finally play for every power you use on them, and they even wobble when you hit them! When did this happen?!


Issue 16 made me feel like this.

Will all destroyable objects play hit FX from every power now?

I thought for sure this was concerning the bug where they don't "spawn" for some reason. It's hard to test attacks when there's nothing there. :-/

BaBs, can we be allowed to actually shoot at the shooting range targets, please?
It's really really annoying to have them there, be targetable and in range, and then it says 'Not in Range' when trying to shoot at them.
I mean, this is with a sniper power. What?!

That's nice and all (yes, it was annoying for them to not be working quite right), but where are all the useful fixes?

I believe this is actually an issue with enemy spawning rules.
1) Enemies don't spawn if there's nobody in range for them to matter
2) Enemies try to avoid spawning if someone can see them

If there's nobody in the Vanguard base, the targets won't spawn (they're technically enemies, and if there's nobody around, they're not needed). If someone logs in within view of the targets, they won't spawn (someone can see them). The rest, I suppose, depends on whatever spawn/despawn timer they're on.

I figured it was something like that, but I wouldn't call it WAI. It would make sense for them to ignore spawning rules.

I wouldn't say WAI either, but it's a minor bug due to existing code that might be more trouble than it's worth to fix.

I'm going to have to add my voice to this.

It's nice that one set of targets wobble when hit, but the fact that the other set cannot even be attacked is a problem that causes irritation far greater than the problem itself should logically deserve.

Like a mosquito bite or paper cut.

Unfortunately, no. The spawn points for those objects are actually in the ceiling.

They should be flagged as non-selectable/targettable now to avoid any confusion about them.
