Funny... every time I tried to get some soloing done I would end up with either a blind invite (if I wasn't in a mission) or a tell (if I was). I saw some truly $diety-awful builds that way... like the level 20 scrapper with one attack power... who sent me a tell after I quit to get me to "stop leeching".

Picked up a couple extra levels as I had hoped last night so the TA/A Def is now 38 with my arrow nuke 
That's from 24-38 total then for the event.
Ran a Manticore which had a false start (first mission: Zone into the AE sidewalk) but then went great. Then the Mender TF which was set for +2 and resulted in a lvl 44 AV Nosferatu against our poor 38's. We couldn't dent him but he sure dented us. Repeatedly. So we gave up for the night.
I was able to travel to my In-laws', alienate them and be-alienated by them, (along with my wife, who experienced the same), and return safely, all while spending a restful 35+ hours driving to and fro, some on windy (and wind-y) mountainous roads.
Oh, what fun. Pardon my bitter.
With no irony, (weird for me), I'm glad to hear most of you had a blast.

Hm....i pushed my Dark/SR Brute from 45 to 50 finally and got him fresh IO sets.
And my Rad/Fire Blaster got some love from 13 up to 34, i just can´t wait getting hot feet for more AOE Rampage!
And ye I have some other toons pushed a lvl or so...

Never did get my planned Numina off the ground to complete the accolade. But I did get from 31-37 and knock off three Task Forces. Got a few very low-level characters some levels, but nothing impressive, just dabbling.
Wasted a lot of the weekend tidying up a few characters that needed enhancements, and doing some real-life chores. Curiously, my wife being out doing stuff didn't leave me much more free time than usual, since I had to see to the welfare and social time of all the animals, make my own food, and so on. I don't consider the time spent making the dogs happy to be wasted.

Mostly worked on some redside tunes. Got an Elec/NRG stalker from 22 to 32, and a Zombie/Thermal from 11 to 26. Over all, I really played light.
Got my Mind/Cold to 17
Go my Ill/TA to 34
Got my Human/Nova PB to 48
Not much else, really...not having 2XP in AE really took the wind out my sails; most people were running papers at +4/x8 and wiping every two mobs, despite my entreaties for a speedier and more efficient setup.
*shrug*
Not much reason to level to 50 so I get to Stamina or 35 and go from there.

Last night, we got AE bugged again but it was the very first mission so it was easy to start over.
It's kind of funny -- I made 14 levels which was great but, honestly, making seven levels would have been a banner weekend for me. I guess part of the 2xp thing is that people are driven to team and play so, even without the bonus, you put in more "productive" time than usual.
Ah, final report: Got Cassandra Grey, my mind/kin troller on Protector, from 28 to 36.9 - within striking distance of FS now!
ETA: Oh, and laughed hysterically when hubby sold some Halloween salvage on the market for insane amounts of influence (tens of millions)...in the middle of October. Is it really that hard to wait a couple of weeks and trick-or-treat for it? I guess if you have the inf to spend...
OK my final results for the weekend. 60 million on my fire/kin (influence made mostly from defeats with only several rare salvage drops and selling the common IO recipes to vendor).
My level pacts that got leveled
Mister Molten (fire/fire scrap) and Mrs. Magma (Earth/Therm troller) from 16-18
Volcanico (stone/fire tank) and Pyroteen (fire/rad troller) from 9 to 16
Gunnsteinn (ice/mace tank) and Cryoteen (cold/ice troller) from 10 to 17
Bobby Bolt (Elec/elec tank) and Sara Tell (arch/elec blast) from 8 to 21
Adam Amp (elec/elec scrap) and Vicki Vine (plant/therm troller) from 16 to 19
Infernal Heat (Fire/axe tank) and Jake Pulse (FF/Eng defend) from 1 to 15
Buckeye Brawler (MA/Shield scrap) and Justice One (AR/dev blast) from 14 to 22
Nick Awesome (Shield/Ice tank) and Hot Steele (Traps/AR def) from 4 to 15
So that looks to be about 130 total lvls, which sounds impressive, but they were all in the lower levels.

I form teams if there are people available what do you do if all of them already are on a team?
Also I have played on the US servers and i asked people already on teams and they happily invited me.
The problem seems to be YOURS alone.
Was actually able to participate in a double XP weekend this time! woo!
Justice, where it seems teams are running all day everyday anyway... XD
Ran my already lvl 50 plant/storm a bit and helped a bunch of people level up and earned money (380Mil inf! woo)
Got my Fire/Fire scrapper from 12 to 38!!! omg this character is going to be fun
Even on Champion I had a little go of it!
Got a lowly Fire/Kin Controller from 22 to 28! (I know im odd, I cant stand fire/kins, this is the first one I haven't deleted!)
Got a couple of levels on various alts across a lot of servers XD

Combat Kangaroo Rifle/Energy/Mace/Spiritual Blaster

Honestly, I didn't accomplish much. I got 2 levels each on my 3-box trapper team in the mid 20s. That was Friday super late. I got them all to 25. I also got my DM/WP scrapper from 40 to 41.
Now, outside of the game, I practiced my Ballroom Dancing skills at a party, took a private lesson which improved my Waltz and Foxtrot, and I also played in a D&D game which got my character from mid-level 6 to just a couple hundred XP short of level 7. (3.5E).
I also hung out with friends in real life a whole bunch.

I didn't spend as much time on the DXP weekend this time. I did get my EM/EA scrapper Hard Spark to lvl 32 and which I had fun doing. This time (which is odd for me) I was able to get on some great teams!

i either get no thank you cos i want to solo or nothing at all. then i leave a note about the jerks that don't reply for my future reference for the no replier, and this also go towards getting into a team as i get the no reply or it full/task

they do not know if the team full and that you might be looking for another person to fill the spot and they just want to play like you
If I'm looking for someone for my team, I've found them within less than 2 minutes. EVERY time. At ANY time of day, on ANY American server.
I actually have an open challenge to anyone that says that they can't get a team to meet me in game at a scheduled time so that I may prove them wrong and form a team FOR them in minutes.
I just might have to open a new account on the Euro servers to open the challenge on that side of the pond, but I'm not sure if I CAN sign up for a Euro account, and if I could, how to.

Fascinating, I actually tried to sign up for a FULL account, and this is what happened. I even tried to use two different cards with the same result:
So it looks like I CANNOT sign up for a Euro account with an American credit card. A shame, I was actually intrigued by the thought of playing on the European servers.

Barely was able to accomplish partial goals, only earned 3 lvls on one toon, (45) and 1 lvl on alt toon. (34)
Sadly my gaming time appear not to corospond with my normal teammates, and only found a few pugs to help me make those goals.
I should have spent more time playing then waiting. Would have like to accomplish more.

Got my new blaster Dirty Litter Box fire/nrg 1-33.
My new defender Jacob Nemesis arch/traps 1-27.
Mostly me and the missus ran our fire/kins for the sg and got abuncha ppl lvl'd up and I personally walked away with 15 prples and the missuses got 10.
Most of the sgmates dual-boxed got acouple of them from 35-50,and the others up to the 30's,so yeah we were very productive.Caught up on all my sleep last night.
Other than WW being borked it went smooth.
