What's YOUR strongest build?
House of Razor-Edged Playing Cards: My Ninja/Storm Mastermind, Agent Ceiling Cat. Good solo, nice force-multiplier on small teams, does sick, sick things on a full team with support. Still drops in a heartbeat if I screw up, though, which makes it a fun one to play. Damage-capped auto-crit Golden Dragonfly makes it allll worth it.
Fire-Hose FrankenGun: My AR/Energy Blaster, Alex Petersen. Slotted for absolutely stupid amounts of range. For when I want to hang out, not worry about having or getting much team support, and still have fun blasting the snot out of things. And punching them, we can't forget the punching.
Adjust-a-Threat 9000: My Bots/Trick Arrow Mastermind, Sam Clarke. Able to contribute nicely with only her Assault Bot and her arrows, yet can pull out the full robot army when the Disco Show needs to get on the road. Stuns, sleeps, holds, slows, debuffs, and piles and piles of AoE, all adjustable as needed and applied at range. Perfect for when I want to work with a big team but am not in the mood to pull out a buffing character.

Part Two--Under Construction
Hmmm. In terms of being able to run into swarms of enemies and just not die my DM/WP Brute. And he doesn't even have Darkest Night (he'd be just sick with DN as well). And he's always been like that. He was doing Darren Wades arc in his mid 20s, fighting a Purpled conning Lost boss & his spawn when halfway through I noticed that Kabra Kill and a Pariah were also in the spawn. I was actually baffled as to why I wasn't dead, or even injured much. He doesn't really tear through enemy spawns though, just whittles them down.
Heroside either Carnifax herself, Illusion/Storm (although she can be two-shotted easily if I'm not thinking) or Dark Quasar, my Warshade.
None of them are extensively Set IOed out, most are just Frankenslotted (although Carni does have a HO from back when they were relatively cheap on the Market).
My Elec/Elec/Mu Brute can solo Carnies and Malta set to 8. Sure, it's with bosses turned off and only even level spawns (I can't bring myself to use -1 level, even if it would make my quest for More Purples a whole lot easier), but that's still quite a feat. She can also solo Rikti set to 8/+4/Bosses, but with /Electric Armor it sometimes feels like I'm cheating.

Trafficker. Fire/Kinetics Corruptor.
1450 HP. 45% Res S/L. 20% Defense pre-Vengeance.
Fireball, Fire Breath, and Rain of Fire all at Perma-hasten pre-Siphon Speed.
He has Brawl and Boxing with 5 Purple IOs.
Check out a silly movie of him in action before he added Fire Breath (Dropped Inferno).
Heroside, it's has to be my Elec x3 Blaster. What she have done over her career defies all logic. I made her as a Blapper with controls. She was the Endurance Monopoly. All blue to her, none to her enemies. Worked pretty well. She also had a knack, the worse the situation looked, the better odds of her pulling off something spectacular.
Several times she was the last one standing after a team wipe, including Tankers. She could clear a room spawned for a team, but only when things looked bad. She took on EB Tyrant solo. At level 47. She won. She tanked AV Battle Maiden once. That was fun. Oh and her favorite hunting prey: Rikti Mesmerist bosses. She was just a plain fun character to play, a Blaster with no fear at all, and with a knack for actually pulling it off. Sadly, after the Defiance change, she just haven't been so fun. Considering her Rikti boss strategy actually was "Hurry to melee, get hit to 10%HP by the sword, drain his End and two hit him" she kind of lost her edge. HP is a resource to spend, just like everything else, after all.
Villainside, it's my Stalker. She's nothing special, Nin/Nin, but I'm a good Stalker and she routinely pulls off what can be expected of her. EBs are no threat, and she took on Recluse and won for the 50 ding. I like to joke that she's so good that she can hide in a dark room with a turned on lightsaber. Which she can.
I can't really think of a weakest. My Trick Archer isn't strong solo, but when you hold AV Shadowhunter's attention for two minutes without dying, you're not weak. Besides, what she lacks solo, she more than makes up for in teams.
Aegis Rose, Forcefield/Energy Defender - Freedom

fun and dangerous
my semi perma grav/nrg dominator
power
stone/invul brute and my bots/blood MM
My soft capped Elec/Shield Brute. I just feel disgustingly powerful with that build.
Actions speak louder than Vets.
Soloers:
Claws/Reg scrapper: just run...you better go faster!
Claws/WP scrapper: geez...this guy might be worse then the last guy.!
Fire/Kin troller: AHHHHHH... get em off me.. GET EM OFF......... AHHHHHH!!!!
On duo teams
Fire/Fire blaster with a Fire/WP tank: hey look.. a couple hero's.... let get emmm....AHHHHH!
Human WS with an Kin/Elec Defender: hey... where's Joe...what's that purple ball over there.. hey...... AHHHHHH!!!!
My "strongest" one in PvE is my speed built scrapper (MA/SR). A run speed which is faster than most players' sprint, a sprint speed which is bordering close to super speed, and a super speed which is well over the cap. In PvE I can charge headlong into a crowd of enemies, dodge virtually every single blow and crush them with Dragons Tail.
My strongest PvP build doesn't exist. They all suck. I either need a mountain of purple inspirations to get comparable defense on my SR scrapper so I can actually DODGE stuff or, ironically, a mountain of accuracy inspirations so I don't miss opponents which are 'purpled' to the eyeballs.
One day I might have the two hundred billion influence I need to actually purchase a single purple recipe and start slotting my character to be useful in player versus player, but I doubt it. I'm not that hardcore.
Characters:
The Heroic Mary Grace (50)
The Mystical Thunderspark (50)
The Candy-loving Little Jenny (50)
My "strongest" in the survivability sense is Mirka, a WP/DB tanker with IO sets aimed at maxing her HP and regen rate. There's nothing like standing in front of an AV and saying, "That was your best shot? You're about to have a very bad day, pal."
Strongest in terms of soloing is Raven's Seeker, ironically a pure-concept tribute character. But she's also a purpled-out Ill/Kin with essentially perma-Phantom Army (unless she misses a couple Siphon Speeds in a row). She has a pretty decent list of solo AV takedowns. Only the new difficulty options have made missions anything beyond completely trivial for her.
Strongest in terms of what they can do for a team are my D3s (my specialty, and I have a lot of them).
"And in this moment, I will not run.
It is my place to stand.
We few shall carry hope
Within our bloodied hands."
I have many. But I'd have to say my most fun and oldest is my Ice/Energy tanker Jagoroth (Who fans ) and I made him back in I3 and then shelved him when Arcana confirmed that Defense builds were ****** and pretty much useless. I dusted him off in I7 when they finally fixed Defense and since then he's been my main ever since. He's got about 2 billion in IO's on him with Regen equivalent to a Regen Scrapper running Integration, capped Defense, and his Hasten is perma and ET/TF are down to a 6.2 second recharge. Actually when I got the Master of the Statesman TF badge with him people were just ******** themselves when they saw a non Stone tank with the badge lol
Red side I don't play too often but probably my Thug/Pain with about a billion in IO's in him too. My pets all have near capped DEF and my Bruiser has like 70% RES at all times with perma Painbringer and World of Pain as well as all 4 of the Pet uniques. I can essentially turn on my heal aura and herd 30 baddies and go for a burger and fries and just let the toon play itself lol

My SS/INV Brute, he's plenty tricked out, and can handle and or annihilate just about anything that comes his way. I just can't quit playing him, so fun!
President Evil, my Ninja / Dark MM. I've soloed about 3 AVs on him. I'm sure a large part of it is all the holds that are stacking on the poor SOBs. Between Dark Miasma, Dark Servant, The Oni, and my Ghost Widow patron hold. That's 4 holds. I had a couple AVs I locked down for the whole fight.
Katana/Regen, specced for Defense. I make killing look sexy.
My Bane Spider, Night Widow, Warshade and Archery/Energy Blaster - all very strong at what they do.
For teaming my Fire/Rad Corruptor feels very strong, and my Illusion/Rad Controller feels ridiculously strong already at just L30 (hasn't been defeated at all yet). My various /WP Brutes/Scrappers hardly ever get defeated, so they feel pretty strong too.
It's not that difficult to make strong characters in this game given the right powersets and enough inf.
Right now I'm very enamored of my MA/Invul scrapper, softcapped for smashing/lethal. I have a lot of fun with my fire/fire blaster for pure damage and my illusion/rad troller too.
(Those are out of my stable of level 50's.) ^_^
my lil RWZ Challenge vid
My Widow is very durable and can handle a lot. Though she only has +DEF to rely on so once lots of enemies start hitting her, she falls.
My WP Brute seems to be my most durable. She seems to be able to handle 6 person spawns of +2 enemies fine, and she just runs on standard IOs.
Dispari has more than enough credability, and certainly doesn't need to borrow any from you.

DM/WP Brute
In the last room of the Barracuda SF, everyone on my team died except me. I backed off from Riechsman, and fought off all the ambushes until the team could come back.
DM/WP is like an energizer Bunny, your regen and recovery is already good. But add a Heal and Recovery Power on top of that you can keep going.

You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life. Winston Churchill
Blue: Ice/SS Tank - Sooo much fun.
Red: Tie: DM/EA Brute, or Dark/Cold Corr - Both are monstrosities (and the corr isn't even finished yet)
Sheer Joy Toons - Huntsman Spec Wolf or AR/Nrg Blaster (kitted out with Centrioles in EVERY attack)... What, I like shooting things.

Hands down, the one I play the most often these days is my soft-capped DB/SR scrapper. Over 50% defense to melee and ranged and about 47% to AoE IIRC. He pulled off the RWZ challenge on the first try, and there's nothing that makes me giggle with glee more than jumping him into a huge mob like he's a little wannabe tank.
My next strongest is my main, the E^3 blaster, whose HP is capped in his current build. Solos great and on teams is very useful.
My MA/Regen probably comes in 3rd at this point. Very hard to kill her, and definitely a flashy toon to play, just not as flashy as the DB...so she consequently doesn't get played quite as much.
After that, my 2 trollers are tied. Ill/Storm and Plant/Kin, respectively. I love what they can do, and they're a ton of fun to play, but I'll always be a proactive killer at heart with my toons, which is why the scrappers and the blaster tend to get more playtime. If I'm in the mood for running support, however, I will grab one of these trollers without a second thought.
As for my weakest - it's probably a tie between my Necro/Poison MM and my Storm/Dark fender. I adore both toons (which is why they're both still around), but in the MM's case, it's so much micro-managing, I really can't play her for long stretches, and as for the fender, her battlecry is "OW!" or "Not in the face!" To be fair, though, neither of those toons has the benefit of the IOs that my stronger toons have, and neither of them is a 50 (the MM is 45ish the fender is 36), so my opinions on them may change as they progress over time.

Mine's called Control Tower and I refer to him as my Army of One. A friend of mine, Baron Dogfight, who'd logged over 36 months in the game, returned to the game after an absence and played alongside C.T. at level 48. I swear he found a way to drop his character's jaw after my first all-out attack. With crafted enhancements its a phenominal build.
