Tha evil twinzo00orz in Praetoria
As it's in the past on our world, I think they're ancestors rather than mirrors - so not every signature hero or villain would have had an ancestor in the Cimerora area

Also, this might not be the same guy, but please don't feed the X.

Praetoria is not the evil-beard version of Paragon. Good isn't bad and bad isn't good- some character are supposed to be intinsically good or evil, regardless of the differing events. Also, not all characters would even exist in this world, due to the differening events.
Nemesis system? Sure. Shoving it into Praetoria? Not so much...

Praetoria, not Cimerora. He's talking about the Going Rogue expansion area.

Ok then, about Praetoria - it's possible we might not exist in a mirror world - our parents might never have met, for example.
Although, the letter we find in the ITF suggests that one of the possibilitites to the writer's identity is that it might be an alternative or ourselves - but if that's true, Praetoria would have some connection to the Coming Storm then...

Wherever they come from though, if the author of the letters turns out to be my character from the future/another dimension/whatever, that'll be pretty disappointing (and flat out impossible with several of my characters' backstories).

We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...
Play my arc The Audition and see what your Praetorian counterpart's minions look like!
Eco.
MArcs:
The Echo, Arc ID 1688 (5mish, easy, drama)
The Audition, Arc ID 221240 (6 mish, complex mech, comedy)
Storming Citadel, Arc ID 379488 (lowbie, 1mish, 10-min timed)
Yeah, Praetoria gets retconned big time. Now it's not just the Goatee Dimension anymore.
Of course, this only means we need a NEW Goatee Dimension.
I've already created one of my character's praetorian alter-ego as a separate character. As much as I love the idea of having them made 'canon' so to speak, I think I'd rather not limit it to Praetorian Earth.
...still got my fingers crossed for the Nemesis system.
Characters:
The Heroic Mary Grace (50)
The Mystical Thunderspark (50)
The Candy-loving Little Jenny (50)
If praetoria is the alternate mirror universe of Paragon, shouldnt we find our evil twins there ? If so ... I propose to be able to design their costume and battle them in pvp whenever we feel like. kickin nemesis buttz.

Marcus Cole got lucky. My Praetorian version is in fact evil, but just an insurance claims adjuster.
Plenty of other heroes will be disappointed, too.
"I'm here to defeat the evil version of myself!"
"Oh, he's in jail."
"Really?"
"Yeah, 8 years ago. Poisoned a school cafeteria's food."
"Oh geez. Man...glad you caught him."
"Yeah."
"Wanna get hammered?"
"Sure."
I and one of my SG mates plan to run evil praetorian versions of our two main heroes, only we're swapping. I will play his alternate self, and vice versa.
Looking forward to it.
I too, plan on playing my characters' praetorian counterparts myself. While I would like a Nemesis system, I don't think I'd like it lodged into Praetoria.
Two damzs!!!! Oh wait . . . i cant bust myself! Surely thats illegal?
@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!

I think our nemesis system will be a separate Issue from GR - it's a big enough and cool enough feature to headline its own Issue.

The female character equivalent to the Evil Goatee is the Leather Catsuit. If your character is already in a Leather Catsuit, or something similarly form-fitting, then the evil equivalent will still be leather, but show a lot more skin. Just like if your male character already has a goatee, the evil counterpart will have long hair, and wear a lot of decorative spikes.

Would make it more interesting, at least..
@MidnightGuard - on Union you may know me as:
Mr. Vile - Electroman X - Zenodorus - Battler
Naga Knight - Stinkspitter

Good catch, hadn't thought of that yet! Another possibility is they look much more goth like in general.
One of my few female heroes (one of my few heroes period, really) is a sort-of ghost; lots of grays and shades of blue. Her evil self then would need to really look dead - circles-under-eyes, white white wild hair, buckleboots, more torn clothes, etc. And striped stockings.

"Ahhhh!!"
"See, he's the evil version of myself. I'm the psychotic version of myself. And the invisible green rabbit on your head kept making faces at me."
Arc #40529 : The Furies of the Earth
Since all my alts are in a single SG (well, two SGs, I have redside and blueside), it shouldn't be hard to imagine their counterparts are in similar organisations.
I hope not! I've already got mine!
Coin is my main, my hero main, his Praetorian counterpart is Cointerfeit, same origin but instead of being shot with an energy blaster gun, he was shot with a radiation blaster gun, got different powers and a scarred face that drove him insane, especially when he learnt about the original Coin
I might re-roll Cointerfit for GR, if the storyline works ok with it. he's not a high level yet.
We built this city on Rock and Roll!
