Thanks to an extreme case of alt-itis, I rotate between 6 servers of heroes, Liberty, Justice, Guardian, Virtue, Freedom, and Champion.

Liberty, for the most part. My free veteran slots all go here. 6 of my lvl 50s are here. A great server-- folks are generally friendly and have some good friends and SGs there.
I started a few heroes on Triumph back in the day because I figured I would run out of room on Liberty. Only about 6 or so, but one is a lvl 50. Folks are good on Triumph as well.
One day Liberty and Triumph were both crashed, so I started a hero on Protector. I probably play there the second most now, but again, only about 7 heroes or so. Protector is a bit more sparse, but still great folks.
I joined an all-Earth SuperTeam on Justice and have a lvl 50 there now by his lonesome. A higher pop server, I may start someone else there if my one guy can play the Market right for a grubstake. 
And I have a hero on Freedom, just on a whim to see what it is like.
Usually I will be on Liberty, though.

I've also got duos on my two accounts on triumph, guardian and infinity.
All. Started on Champion, and when that started to fill up, Infinity, Victory, Virtue, Pinnacle, etc. In the early days I went to the server where the name I wanted was available. Fortunately I can buy slots now...

It depends.
I average about four or five characters getting "regular" play at any given time. I'll work on one batch for a few weeks and then just drop them all to work on some others. So depending on what I'm up to, I could be playing on five different servers or just one.
At the moment I'm playing exclusively on Freedom, because I started a Peacebringer there and all of my other heroes there had been gathering dust for awhile. Before that I was splitting my time between Triumph, Guardian and Champion.

I have severe altitis so I play on all servers and have all of them filled with alts. I tend to rotate (now loosely based on who has patrol XP to burn) between them and play on all servers.
For the simple reason that it is much easier to find teams on Virtue and Freedom, I play a little more there and I might say that my heart belongs on Virtue as it is still easy to find teams there but people are not as... how can I put this? ... complicated as they are on Freedom.
Having said this, I am constantly surprised by the friendliness and helpfulness I encounter on the low traffic servers, most recently on Liberty.
Basically, I love all the servers! Yes, even Freedumb :-)
I play on three different servers:
Infinity 75%
Guardian 20%
Triumph 5%
It used to be that I would play on ONLY Infinity, and then it eventually became about 50/50 with Infinity and Guardian... now, with a somewhat infrequently Static Team on Triumph, it stands at the above.
Victory, exclusively, and I love it. Met some of the bestest peeps ever there.

First and foremost I'm on Triumph
Liberty and Victory both get played on once each week. (have set teams that run on those)
I also have a VG on Freedom that I mostly ignore until guilt gets the better of me, but as I'm really the only person in it I don't think anyone minds.

Regularly, just liberty, but when the mood strikes me i have guys on virtue, protector, and guardian
I play 75% on Defiant where currently I have only heroes (bar a couple of Villains on my new second account) and the other 25% is on Union where I currently have only villains.
I can't play on the two other EU servers as my French is terrible and my German is even worse!

I've got characters on just about every server, but the only ones I play regularly (okay, the only ones I play at all) are on Virtue.
For about my first six months or so in the game, I'd bounce around from server to server depending on which one had the name I was looking for available. I ended up on Victory for a while, since that's where some real-life friends were playing. But then they moved on to other MMOs, and I went back to moving around. Since then, I've hooked up with a group of people I play with pretty regularly and stuck to just the one server, which ended up being Virtue.
FUN FACT: That burst of light when you level up is actually the effectiveness escaping from your enhancements all at once.
Union is where I got my characters, badgehunters and roleplay. Union all the way.

Union mainly. Defiant was actually my original server, and I only started on Union when I ran out of slots, but I've come to enjoy the characters on the latter more.
None on the other two cos I don't speak foreign 
When I say I play on them all, generally I mean it. My heaviest use, though, would likely be Pinn, Victory, Virtue, Infinity, Justice and Guardian. (Yes, all roughly equally.)
Defiant for heroes, Union for villains.
I started on Pinnacle but it slowly became a ghost town so I left for Freedom, Virtue, and Infinity.
I used to play exclusively on Guardian, and I still consider it one of my two "Home" servers, but a friend set up a VG on Virtue and I started playing redside in earnest on that server.
At the moment, I would say my time is probably split 80/20 on Virtue and Guardian. On Virtue my playtime is 80/20 in favor of villains, and on Guardian it's 90/10 in favor of heroes.

My main hero server is Pinnacle, followed by Liberty and Infinity.
My villain server is Triumph.
Only play Red side.
Started out on Freedom and have lots of alts there. Getting tired of all the 'lfae boss farm' chats/tells.
So now I'm trying out Triumph. I like it so far

In the last week played (ignoring the 5 days I was in the wild without computer) I played on:
Champion (heroes and villains)
Freedom (heroes and villains)
Infinity (villains)
Justice (villains)
Triumph (heroes and villains)
Victory (heroes and villains)
Virtue (heroes and villains)
Granted some were played more than others but I get bored easily.

My Villains are on Triumph because that's where I set up the VG.
Liberty was my original home because that's where my husband was playing at the time (before he got sucked into WoW).
Guardian -not sure how that happened exactly, but still there.
Infinity - when my sister & I decided to set up the SG, we settled on Infinity, and I've been happy there ever since, especially once I discovered the Saturday Taxibot TFs.
I also have a small presence on Victory with another SG I inherited, and characters on every server except Freedom.
