Except for NCsoft being idiots I think the main problem was that the crossection of superhero fans globally and people who play MMOs just was not very big and keeping a game like this alive and prosperous maybe simply was too hard.

They were the "enemy" for a while, sure- I wouldn't have even slightly considered moving to Champions while COH was still running. But yes, moving there does seem like the best thing COH players could do, if they mean to preserve the "spirit" of their characters and their community. -

I am fairly sad. It was always nice to be able to come back and play a month or two and all my toons would still be there. But now ... all the hours seems pointless in a whole other sense. I will probably not play a MMO again.
