Possible future EU/US Server Merge!

This is a joke, right? I don't get it if it is...
I've got friends on Zukunft, maybe your friend likes to play on the french server now and then?
Edit: As I said, I didn't geddit 
the be entirely fair, whilst yes, the example posted does in no way indicate a merge between EU and NA servers, the topic of it being possible in the the future that this may happen is hardly one which should not be discussed...or, to be consise: Meh?
@craggy see me on Union for TFs, SFs (please!) or just some good ol fashioned teaming.

To be perfectly frank, I wouldn't mind all you crazy European types coming over to our humble servers. But not as a server merge, but a client merge. Basically, adding the 4 Euro servers to the same list us US players can pick, and adding the 11 US servers to the same list you Europeans can pick from.

You just voiced exactly what we Easterners have been clamouring for. Any conflict of global names would totally be worth getting our greasy mitts on your massive playerbase and dedicated roleplay server.

Aye I wouldn't mind a server list merge. Would be nice to have all the servers in one place so I wouldn't need to keep switching between my EU and US accounts

As has been said before, defiant is more serious and union more "wacky".

I'd like to share 2 opions of mine.
1: I don't like the idea or merging servers with the yanks, but I do like the sound of merging the lists to grant us access to their servers and they to ours.
2: I definatley don't like the idea of merging Union and Defiant, especially scince i tend to recycle names and I'd have a major confict with myself ¬.¬
Besides if they merge the lists, it is entirely possible that there would be a large influx of players onto some of the currently EU servers and merging servers wouldn't be needed.
- Merge Lists
- Wait six months.
- Work out which four/six servers are emptiest.
- On those four/six everyone gets a token to move each character to another server. Except two with largest populations. (Freedom/Virtue IIRC).
- Wait two months.
- Close those four servers with any hold outs being force moved to the emptiest remaining server.
Issues would of course be names and Prestige, the first could be got round creatively (and in the fist six months you pop on each server and make a place-holder of the names you need, just in case
). Prestige would need a new method, perhaps a method to transfer a whole SG...

I hope they never merge EU servers, been debated many times. The 2 EU servers should remain seperate would cause all sorts of probs i imagine on names and things if was to merge. lets hope it never happens
As for merging US server list in i guess would not hurt but not sure if would allow you to make chars on thier servers if still EU acct.
But for now i'm happy the way we are, no need to change it.

I think that this is a perfectly reasonable way to go, and I can't think of a valid argument against it.
It's in no way a DooooM idea. In fact it's far from it. I would view it as an expansion of CoX and not a move that would limit the game in any way whatsoever.
