The event that passed somthing like what I described took place a looong time ago, not too long after CoV was released and I tend to not bother with Kings missions these days. -
Reminds me of somthing that I've done once.
Went to Shiny New Contact in kings row (forget his actual name, he's on a roof with a big metal ramp leading to him) with my New Awsome Blaster.
SNC: "Go see David Wincott in the Hollows"
NAB: "Huh. I just got sent to you for work, but ok. What the heck"
Off I go to see David. I decide to head back to SNC.
SNC: "Good job, now go and talk to the Perez Park Security Officer"
NAB: "You sending me off to sombody else again? Ok, fine"
Once more I trot off, this time I have to "arrest" some hellions in a zone thats designed for group play... with a squishy Blaster...
Joy.
A much scuffed and irritated NAB: "Ok, I'm back from your pointless run about mission. How about some real work?"
SNC: "Sure, but first I want you to go and talk to the Bloody Bay-"
NAB: "No! Enough! I've had it with you! I'm going to find a new contact! One with actual work!"
I tune into my police scanner, do that hero thing and get a New Contact in Kings.
NAB: "Hey there buddy ol' pal. got work for me?"
NCB: "Yeah, I need you to talk to the Bloody Bay representative"
NAB: "Ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff-"

It's been suggested many, many times. While I do support the idea, it seems that it is unlikley to ever happen. -
Tempory powers that go unused are worthless.

yeah I wasn't including $target. I would have tried it myself if it wasn't for the fact I got the command not recognised message, usually when you dont include a target it tells you! ("string requires 1 arg you gave 0" etc.)

I've occasionaly read on this forum that the command to see a players global name is /get_global_name and Paragon wiki confirms this.
However i've just tried this out for myself, and all I get is a message saying the command is not recognised.
Was this command removed? Is it broken? Or am I just doing somthing fundementally wrong with it? -

Yah, they should suppress all travel powers in the Shard so that the geysers get used the way they were meant to be.
Oh, and then put timers on all the missions.

We started it sunday afternoon about 1:30 and continued until about 5:30 when sombody had to goto work (ok, it was me). Pretty much everybody else wanted a break anyway.
I was supprised when I logged in this evening to see everybody back (they were discussing whether to continue it or not as I was leaving so I was in the dark about what was happening until this evening), dunno how much of it I missed but considering how repetative that TF was I think I may of come out of it ahead

The origin of my name goes way back to when I was first introduced to the wonderful world of the MMORPG. Star Wars: Galaxies.
You see, SWG had(has?) a random name generator, and when it came for making my first character I let it pick the name for me. It came up with Imeba Vil'Lan. Well I didn't like Imeba, sounded too much like amoeba. Changing the e to an o though just rang right in my ears.
Imoba left such a great impression on me (Still my favorite avatar I ever made, even if the game he was in was lackluster) that I used his name as my handle ever since.
Well that or on the rare occasion, Llawan, who was my second SWG character...
EDIT: forgot to add that I decided against using Vil'Lan in CoH because it sounded an awful lot like villain, I chose Strife because I rolled a scrapper and it seemed appropriate. -
Myth: All defender power sets have a heal
Fact: I'll shoot you with my "Healing Arrow" if you reeeeealy want to, but I doubt it would make you feel any better

The dummies are present for me. Also I was able to hit the targets with Flashing Steel and Golden Dragonfly (both are PbAOE's), other attacks got the out of range message though.

It depends on how it'd impact the performance allocated for each character. But even if it completely destroys that allocation, I'm all for better tails. Especially a fox tail.
