Just wanted to pop in and sayI tried a couple transfers from Exalted to Beta and no joy! Did the actual copy a few days ago and logged into Beta just now and no transferees.

I get that you (Paragon Studios Marketing group) are still trying to figure out appropriate pricing. However, despite being continually told, you are constantly missing the mark. You are simply charging too much.
This is extremely over-priced for a non-combat item that can't be used with other "vanity" pet toggles (whoever came up with that particular idea should be smacked upside the head) and buff pets.
The MVAS non-combat pet is 350 points.
To put it in perspective:- I consider my baseline a full power set or costume pack to be worth 400-600 points.
- Account wide non-combat items (vanity pets or transformations) should be 200 points or less.
- One use buff items should never be more than 80 points, and probably closer to 20-40 points.
- Items with extensive use such as extra enhancement storage should be 800 points.

One thing you might try is the "bird's eye view". That is hit your B button (by default) to move into third person view. Then adjust distance with your mouse wheel. This will give you a MUCH wider range of view to keep near targets in range.

Thanx so much, that was exactly what I needed, the proper path. I opened quickchat.mnu and made 2 quick changes and tested them live, and they worked perfectly.
Thanx again, off to do some SERIOUS modification to some .mnu files

Okay, so doing this on a mac, I was able to find Resources folder for City of Heroes but I'm not clear on where I should add the texts\English\Menus or would it be different folder setup for Mac?
I have Resourses\Transgaming\Coh folder but am not clear where or what I should add for the .mnu folders.

Okay, after opening the RIGHT package contents I was able to get to the "coh" folder, but there is no "City of Heroes" folder in "coh". There are screenname folders, screenshots, qt_plugins, PowerCust, Piggs, Missions, logs, CustomVillainGroup, Custom_Critter, costumes and cider folders. You are saying there should be a "CityofHeroes" folder there? or maybe I should add that and then the data folder(s)?
I am not stupid, I have done things like this many times, I was just in the wrong folder to start with, and have since gone to the right resources folder. I appreciate the help and just need to know if this is where I should add the folders needed. -
So I made it to Resources folder, but could not find transgaming in any form "below" that threshold.
There are a bunch of .nib folders but none of them are transgaming. Any suggestions?

Okay so it might work, any chance that anyone has used this on a mac? I'm lookin for setup steps if possible. Have to admit I don't know mac very well so any detailed explanation on setup would be greatly appreciated.

Let's stick to the 90% off sales if the base prices are going to be like this! That will be the ONLY way I'll consider buying them. Well except this particular item for reasons already mentioned above, ie. kills stealth/hide/superior camo and FREE to create a better/individual costume slot.

Depending on your version of your Mac OS, it probably is a good idea to copy out your COH settings anyhow as indicated in the instructions. The link is for a "new" updater.. Right now as I am trying to patch the game I reach 76% and then it hangs. So now off to try the new updater! However I would recommend at least copying your COH folder to your desktop. The transgaming folder is underneath "tgApplyPatch".

The only time I ever started in Atlas was due to an errant mouse click. EVERY other new toon started with Babs in Galaxy. Will I miss it? yeah in a nostalgic way I suppose. Everything changes so I will roll with it.

I just want to clarify, this is something I should do even if I NEVER set foot (or mouse) in the store, right? Luckily I have a windoze laptop that I can access the store with but if I'm reading the instructions/OP right, it sounds like the updater is not going to work at all? That is, no matter what, I will HAVE to install the game as new and then "revert" to my original preferences as shown in OP? Even if I avoid the store completely on my imac?

So yeah, bugs are all squashed then? Accessing the store on a mac doesn't cause a complete lockup and reboot needed, eh? OR, quarter profits are more important than putting out a working game?

I'm not sure i understand. This is like reading "How-To" texts and reviewing them for plot, storyline and character development. They're Farms, why review them like they're actual stories? I'm sure you'd be quite pleased to have your stories reviewed for their "farm value" and have them trashed because they are lousy farms!
