I'm getting sooooooo fed up with this board software. You cant post 2 or more replies at the same time (form bla bla invalid), 90% of the time you get a timeout while trying to post or a form invalid, 10% of the time it is a timeout but 'magicly' your reply is posted.

Been announced last year already, 'beta' stuff was running and yet 5 months later we still got nothing.

haha ironic when i try to post this:

Let's be realistic here. It's more like "Since we fired (sorry, made redundant) almost anyone working in the Community Support area in the EU we don't have anyone to manage setting it up & running it any more".

That said this board is generally fine for me. But I don't use Exploder.

Dont believe its browser dependant, since i get such '[censored]' in basicly any browser i use.

i use all combination of browsers and have had "form submitted not valid". and i havnt posted much.

I think I've maybe had it once or twice in my entire time using the forums but 99% of the time i have no problems and that's across 5 different computers and 2 mobiles with 4 different ISPs.

The problems just seem really random in who they affect

Except for FFM. That bug loved him (personally I think he was forging it for the postcount )

Like FFM, I have this problem only when I post from work. (and FFM postED a LOT from work). At home, I have no issues. At work, I've frequent forms invalidated.

Edited for current status, and surprisingly, I've had no worries in the 2 posts I've made today... maybe I should post more...

I've started using Google Chrome recently - maybe I've just been lucky, but I haven't had that error message at all since, but in IE7 I used to get it all the time.

I tended to get the message whenever I opened the forum in multiple tabs - only the last post opened had a valid entry form. Had to refresh any other tab I wanted to post on.

Had rediculous problems with "unvalid form" before, seems to have gone away, but still...

...I think this is the ONE thing we can all agree on, this forum belongs in the pre-stone age, it's ancient, it's history, it's mu mu land!

...also merging red/blue would probably be good. I can't stand the blue colours, so I stick to the red version, but that means any "internal" links sends me packing to blue side and a re-log or some fancy(?) editing of the URL.

I'd veto that as it's removing choice/options. Oddly enough I prefer the blue/CoH colour scheme on the EU forums, but prefer the red/CoV colour scheme on the US forums.

does it to me a lot. many times I end up getting bored trying to post.


edit: I have to try every option available to get my message on sometimes as well. So if I'm quoting you, I might not be specifically responding to you, just doing everything in my power to get the damn message on the damn board.

@craggy see me on Union for TFs, SFs (please!) or just some good ol fashioned teaming.

Oh believe me, we want new boards as badly as you do but announcing anything at this point would not be a very wise decision. Personally, I don't want to say anything about new boards if I don't have them already working internally and us being able to add, remove, rename forum sections or even turn them upside down without them going all mushy on us and crashing.
