Roll an epic AT (or just another normal one) and start all over again...just like the rest of us alt-a-holics...
Yeah! Make a new toon! Or if you like your character so much take up badge hunting 
- Play as an Epic.
- Roleplay.
- PvP.
- Run around helping newbies.
- Socialise under Atlas.
- Start all over again

Or grab a new alt and bring this one back if you fancy doing some of those higher level tfs again
My 50s get ressurected when they're needed in TFs, Sic is my inf gatherer though he plays the black market for his cash. You could also try out PvP, though it might be worth waiting and getting used to the new system when it's implemented.
Or how about helping out some peeps with their characters: those higher levels are always glorious, and you love playing your character so give em a hand. I dont mean Powerlevelling obviously, but when peeps are 47+ it's always nice to have a 50 on your team to push the experience up a bit and give a better challenge.
Or perhaps take up Roleplaying, I only do Rp with a few peeps from the various Sgs I'm in, and offline with the stories that I write, but it's all valid and good fun. Okay you dont need a 50 to RP but if you've never tried it you never know.
Personally I work on getting that elusive portable workbench accolade when I'm at 50, it makes life infinitely easier for future characters Sic has it, and he exploits it, but I'm working on it with Delph and Booble.

Tbh I pop on my 50's regularly, I have loads of alts and when I just get bored with my alts then it's time to head back onto my 50 and help some near-level 50s to level up.
I also do badgehunting, I find it quite fun.
I still have yet to complete Posi for TFC (Task Force Commander) on my Ill/Sonic. Also STF needs to be done.
There is still quite a few stuff to do on my 50s.
So, I say, just do stuff that you didn't think you could before 50. At 50 you are at the peak of career, no one can stop you, not even Statesman/Lord Recluse.
Whenever I finish a 50 I just make a new one. Good to experience the game from different roles in the team and different ATs. Whilst I only have a couple of my 50s that I properly IO and play extensively at high level I am am up to 15 lvl 50s now and still about a million different combinations I want to try out :-P One thing you could never accuse this game of is lack of depth.
very true, I have had chronic altism for a long time filling 2 accounts with Alts, however I would rather have 1 main character. I just hate that the things to do at 50 like Task forces exemp you to low levels again xD
I would love lvl 50 only content, this should prob go to suggestions but a LVL 50 Zone, with pretty looking TF's for 50's only, and teams of 50's doing 50 only arcs with benefits like 50 only costume parts etc...

I daresay there'll be loads of level 50 stuff once the mission architect thingy comes out.
You probably noticed, as you played through, how many competent and helpful players there were at lower levels? That's chiefly because of the lack of content.
Take something like WoW - all the high level characters sit at whatever the level cap is these days, leaving new players to it. In CoH, you never know if that level 3 Blaster is new, or has 12 50's already. It's part of what makes the game great. The high end experience is constantly feeding back into the low-end game, giving the community a real boost.
The major problem, as I see it, is not that there's too little level 50 content; it's that the content at all levels needs a proper overhaul on heroes, and bulking out on villains.
I've played through the lower ouroborous TF's a few times with various 50's, despite the exempingness; because they're interesting and fun to play through. The same can't be said for, say, Citadel, or Positron TF's.

it's the CoT elite boss from the WS guy in that time room.

As for things to do at 50, just make yourself available to help people - and that includes exemping down

To be honest i just use mine to assist lower level peeps who need help. not interested in badge hunting, or the shadow shards, or ouroboros. But perfectly happy to exemp to help a lvl 'X' who is new to the game. what does it matter if i die, it does not.
But the real problem is, no matter what I do my alt does not progress, does not grow, they remain static, stuck in an ever changing environment. Time to explore champions online I think

I tend to find my self always coming back to my 50s. Espically Mr Mac as I just love playing as him.
I'm going to have to echo whats been said and play an EAT or grab yourself a 2nd 50 on the red side, assuming that is your 1st 50 is a hero. Then roll a VEAT
Rollplay.
And badgehunt!
Rally people togeather for GM hunts! (far to rare these days and i'll always join one if im on)

Any TF thats going. Even if its just for the banter! I must of done the LGTF 20 times +
Orobubble! Set yourself the time challenges etc...
Theres loads of stuff to keep yourself occupied, even if its just exploring. The citys so vast I found I missed most of it on my road to 50, and I didn't exactly rush there.
Not to mention alting, involving yourself in a good SG, events, PVP, Join as many channels as you can and get yourself involved in them.
The list goes on.

Got the same problem as Donna has. Once I hit 50 on a toon. It got basicly shelved. Of course unlocking the epics was interesting but it ould be nice if you could do something special with your 50. Like Donna said some things for lvl 50's only. Things that make yu fel special lik Visits to the white house talk about a giant statue of you etc.

i think you do, they use COX as basic and make CO around it.
and since they are the ones that made COX, dont think they miss this. 
(i'm always looking at CO updates and reviews, sorta using COX till CO is done)
Well all you can do for 50s at the moment is pvp, or you could spend hours getting badges.
This game does not have end game content as we have been told many many times now that not everyone has a lvl 50 so it wouldnt be right to make content for a small section of the game (yeh right)
Every Issue, we get a little more 50 content - so the amount of endgame stuff is slowly building up.

Personally I run TFs/Trials and Ouroboros arcs with my 50s, duo GMs (if it's a Single Target damage toon, Tank or DeBuffer) or farm mobs (if it's a AoE damage toon or Buffer). And join random PUGs if I get bored.
If I'm *really* bored and don't feel like high-level PUGing I'll exemp down to duo with a toon on my second account, or join a group of lowbies.

True of course. We got 35+ content, purple IO's and such and now merrits. Problem is what to do with those purples besides PvP. What epic destiny is there for my 50? I think that people would love to see epic stuff for their 50's to do. Something only one at those powerlevels are capable of. Something you could consider being an endgame.
To be honest I think there is a lot of end game content to CoX - its just finding it. I know for me I never had even heard of the Shadow Shard until after I had gotten my first 50. Although the place is a pain in the behind the navigate with SJ I still find it a fascinating place to be and look forward to doing the TFs in there.
As people have said there is (and this is just my experience of Hero side):
* Grinding to get your build perfect (Purple IOs)
* The high end TFs (ITF, LGTF, STF, Shadow Shard TFs etc)
* PvP - which is getting a overhaul (whether this is good or bad I dont know) and the arena is getting new maps
* The high end mission Arcs (http://cityofheroes.wikia.com/wiki/H..._to_50_Content)
* Roleplay
* Orbourous (if you dont mind exemping)
* The soon to come Merits
* Unlocking the Vanguard bits in the RWZ
* The soon to come Multi-builds, creating a new concept for your toon and having a new playstyle
* Epic Archtypes
* Exploring Villainside
* Hami Raids
* Mothership Raids
* Badge hunting
* Altism - although its starting again, CoX has so many combinations of ATs and powers there is a world to explore there by itself.
Maybe there could be some more high end mission arcs and TFs which could be even harder than the current ones (although ITF on invincible is pretty hard in my opinion) but to be honest Im not sure what else they could add except more variation on hte purple IO sets.
EDIT - although thinking about it they could add some more large scale events (like Hami raids) which involve several teams.

In current PvP maybe, in PvE they're fantastic fun and a bit of a challenge to make properly.

I am now at this point and I want to play my toon as it is, but so far I have done ITF + LGTF... But to be honest I'm fed up of the other TF's cause it gimps your build, why work to 50 to play your toon at 25 or 32!!
I have worked on my toon to get it to the point I love and adore all my powers and sets, what else is there to do now that I am here ?
Can anyone help please ?
