I have to ask as well, are you Power Levelling or something? 24 toons to 50 is a hell of a lot and if you're just PLing them up as quickly as possible in order to get them uber you're missing a lot of the point.

The content in Villians is quite fun too, but make sure you pick a char who can solo as well as do well on Teams.

I'm reading it as one main toon at 50 and already 24 alts, not saying they're all at 50 but possibly more interested in what to do with the main than with the alts.

I could be wrong.

I still look for new arcs and content on my long standing 50s every now and then.

I may be in the minority but I find Kheldians highly versatile and interesting toons. No other AT gives you as many options. I speak to a lot of folk in-game about how "lame" they alegedly are and from what I can tell the frustration usually stems from them trying to make their Kheldians do everything they could and spread their slots to thinly on the ground to actually be able to excel at anything.

But I would say that if you properly plan your Kheldian with a clear idea of what you want them to actually be, they can easily be one of the most enjoyable jounrneys on the game.

Though I suspect that a good number of those who hate Khelds dislike them because they were expecting an "I win" AT to match the "Epic" moniker.

Khelds do seem to be CoH marmite. And like that yeasty-spread, they can be darn fine if you do like them.

Best bet is to try and get rid of any presumptions or secondhand opinions and try both to at least mid-20s... And definitely both as they do play differently (heck - 2 different builds of the same kheld-type can play very differently).

24 toons to 50 really isn't all incredible. 8 man teams 2-4 hours a day for a couple of years and that's when problems start. As a villain only alt what is there to do?(soz, I just can't enjoy the hero content, don't quite know why):

. RSF - Been there, done that, countless of times and that tech is incredibly enough STILL BUGGED!!!!!!!!! Way boring by now.
. ITF - If they ever fix the laggy/ambush mission I guess I'd enjoy that one more often, but it's already rather old.
. LGTF - as a distraction it's ok, it's deffo interesting and very well worth doing if you haven't done it before, but it's a bit long imho.
- high level story arcs - Erhm, yeah, how fast did that get old and so way boring it blows my mind?

My point here, as stated in other threads: There's in general too little "end-game" content and this is especially true for villains. I LOVE playing my lvl 50s, especially once they're purp'd up, so it's time to give us oldies some goodies.

Personally I give it max to I15 for them to put in more truly new high level content/missions/maps/SFs. I do "powerlevel" my alts nowdays because I know all the content so well I can speed through anything and have no reason to waste time looking at 10 year old lowres textures. In the teams I play it's all out mad relentless ki..erhm, "defeating" without really noticing what's happening because it's all routine no matter what powerset or team combo's we have. ...it's all mundane routine.

Ok, so that was a long whinded moan again, point is I still love the game and want more. (but can hardly even be asked to log on, on a daily basis and when I do I end up chatting, not playing)

The really annoying thing is, that a lot of people has been asking for that (high lvl content) way before ED, purp'cipes etc and very little has happened apart from ruining the hami-raids that was one of the most social reoccuring events in-game. (partly replaced by the ship raids that was semi-ruined as well imho.)...

...so...spank the monkey and whip up something truly new, awesome and mindblowing for our ancient 50s, you know you want to!

Cynic has it quite right, I actually have four 50's... and about 18 toons ranging from levels 28 to 41.

Also have a couple of lowbies that I recreate all the time, I have also deleted countless lvl 20-30's maybe 15 of them or so....

Recently I PL'd most as I dont like low lvl grind and PvE. I enjoy'd the PvP side of things, so If I wanted to get a new PvP toon i'd PL it with my 2nd account..

What leads me to this thread are the changes to come to the PvP system. Its making me think i'd rather look at what PvE content I can enjoy instead of leaving game altogether.

Sooo....

I am looking for 1 main character I can play @ lvl 50, and not something that will exemp you lower than your IO's so that you loose everything you have worked for.

Consciousness: that annoying time between naps.

Many people have offered a lot of advice mostly pretty good. There's more End Content coming with every issue and once the Mission Architect hits you'll have a lot more choice.

My own experience leads me to prefer one 50 - my main and some lower level alts. I have got about 3 level 50s that don't get to see light of day very often but Scarlet Shocker is on most times I play and is getting more purple by the minute

I would say alt a bit, experiment a bit, badge, Ouroboros, etc... the main thing is to have fun, but now you've got one 50 you can also take your time getting to 50 on another
