Why would people run round clicking doors and running away?? I have had 3 purple recipes so far from fighting door mobs (mine and other peoples) and made abt 14mil inf. Crazy fools!!!!!

the dont bother atitude is what makes it harder for the gms not easyer,
they need an amount off evidence to hold against a gamer to proove there actions were not accidentle so you have a team that has this happen 3 or four times and dont report it then they do it to somebody else who dose well your right thats one complaint they probibly wont do anything about that but all off you reporting each time about the one person doing it every time that will get there atention and something will be dun

I'd like to know how you know they did nothing, especially as they can't TELL you what they do. Corrective action can take many forms, starting with a warning, procedure to a short term ban, and possibly continuing to a full ban. How do you know he wasn't warned or temp banned?

2 of them I put on friends and 3 to 4 days after the gms took care of the situation according to my email they still ran around.
The third person, with who'm I later fixed things I actually had an discussion with this about and he said he never heard anything from the gms, not as much as an email with a warning.
Well, it usually takes repeated petitions before someone is actioned for harassment or griefing, so maybe he didn't cross the threshold? That say, perhaps what you petitioned him for wasn't actually against the rules, or there was insufficient evidence to prove what he did?
Either way, the GM's *do* take action against people where warranted.

Yeah - for those on say, PI, who can't be bothered to clear up, just work the doors around the Hospital and Portal Corp where there are nearby drones - but not the Ferry, as that might involved people just entering the zone.

In this circumstance, I will point out that the most common short-term ban is a 3-day. They might have had those.
To be honest, I think anyone who is found 'guilty' of harrasment for the Halloween event should be banned temporarily until 3 November. That'll learn 'em.

It'd be nice if their accounts could have a little "No Halloween for you, matey" flag set.
Might be too technically fiddly to implement, but it would be wonderfully appropriate if their door-opening privileges could be revoked for the duration.
Easy(?) change, door creatures work like rikti invasion creatures... Do dam according to your lvl.
Actually I think everything in every zone should work like that, could get rid of lk/SK system too that way. Mobs being "your lvl", +1, +2 etc instead of being lvl X..
... Hmm wasn't exactly clear, but I think most of ya get the idea(?)!
Removing the debt from the door critters might help (as far as I know the raiding zombies are like rading Rikti - they don't dish out debt) but like I said earlier it's still annoying and ill-mannered aswell as a form of harrasement.

GR - has the official line on this changed then?
Pretty sure that it was previously stated (by Bridger iirc) that there's no need at all to send chat logs or screenshots as the GM will have to check the server chat logs anyway. All that's needed is time/place/charname.

The door mobs spawn at about +2-3 lvls higher than you if your on a team. Far too high for one thing. Also, given how nasty the Lieutenants are, it detracts so horribly from the 'fun' of the event when you faceplant every two or three minutes.
I was after the Malleus Badge for one of my characters...its was a chore, not fun at all. The whole of his lvl 10 life has been filled up with debt. Not even joking.
Debt removed would be nice, but fixing it so that they spawn at the correct level for you...a must, please.
And spirit rates, although that one hasnt bothered me so far =]

I have personally found the spawns way too easy even when dealing with multiple doors at once and teamed with two relatively inexperienced players.
I got griefed by some jerk in Granville last night, he was flying door to door clicking and flying off to the next one, regardless of anyone who may have been already dealing with mobs at the door (no warnings in broadcast). Needless to my lvl 41 got face planted by lvl 50 mobs the spawned from the door I was at. I put him on ignore so at least I won't be teaming with him in future.
I'm beginning to think there should be no rewards if you don't kill the mobs (no costumes or event salvage ect) and the mobs should despawn after 15 sec if you don't do them any damage.
Had some numpty drive by one of my alts in Talos this morning, spawning purple mobs at my door. At least, I managed to drag the spawn back to him before faceplanting. GRRR!

and from what i've seen, the doors behave differently this year, last year it seemed to be the case you had a timer and the door had a timer, so you couldnt click the same door twice inside a certain time, thus you had people doing a circuit of doors.
this year i've found the doors dont seem to have that timer, you can click and get a treat and reclick immediately and get a trick (or treat if you are lucky!), thus negating the need for door hunting.
but people still do it despite not being a need to anymore.

They sre still on timers, a lot shorter than last year but I've not been able to click on a door and get anything but a message saying I couldn't enter for some time after the last click, treat or not.
Not only Grandville, there are people SS'ing around clicking doors and having longs trails of mobs following them around. They always seem to zoom in on doors that lower level people are standing by. If you have pets they are going to attack leaving you as good as dead. Unfortunately this is turning into a griefers paradise.
