Something like this will NEVER happen, but it goes to show how easy it is to convince so many people that it is! I haven't laughed harder at a videogame in months. It got even better when it spread to Defiant too! Evidently both servers are as gullible as each other!
I'd like to extend special thanks to Jumanji who played along to the end, and even started this thread for me. Special mention also goes to Siru Jim who played along fantastically as well.

Possibly an example of how powerful word of mouth is. Someone says that Sirens Call will be have PVP turned off for RP'ers for a time period of one night a week and people are up in arms, even though there is no offical word or announcement.
And yes, it was so very, very funny. My sides were almost splitting at some of the vitriol and fuming directed at RP'ers on the Arena channel. Wait, one of my sides did split! Medic! Seamstress!

Was pretty amusing to be honest, I don't think people were threatening to leave over Roleplayers, but more the "apparent" change that made PvP not available in Sirens.
Also, I got some pretty good PvP out of it. More pliz.
I blame the incredibly good looking, "king like" figure that started this thread.

Quite frankly I'm apalled at some actions.
I started it with a throwaway comment over arena. Xan picked up on it because we'd been having a slight RP/PvP thread.
Now we've people demanding things, Insulting Stasis and other stuff.
Honestly, some of you make me sick.

Got some good PvP out of it though, the zone filled up and was great fun. All the stalkers didn't half complain when I got my Sonic/Sonic out though. Then they promptly left

What is wrong with Pocket D for heroes and villains RP?
I hope that the I8 changes bring more PvP to the game because PvP in MMORPGs is great but squishies either spending their whole PvP experience acting like a paranoid android or getting insta killed by stalkers isn't much fun.
The consoles in Pocket D for arena matches, coupled with possible RP there between heroes and villains would be great for both parties. We might also see more impromptu events in Pocket D because it's always empty when I go there. I really enjoyed the few arena and gladiator matches I had on the training room and yet on the live servers I think I've been in an arena once, couldn't decipher the bleeding PvP console gibberish and promptly left.
They also need a Pocket D entrance in Atlas Park/Mercy Island and have an early contact send you there on an unskippable mission so that new players actually know the place exists.
