Ditto, Sirens Call is almost always busy and has the best PvP theme in the game. Heroes Vs Villains where you get bounty for killing which leads to prizes, talk about pvP heaven and now we get deprived of it because RP'ers say aww we want that. Its a PvP zone what the sausages is the point in it being a PvP zone if you cant PvP in it on a monday night til after midnight without being petitioned by RP'ers and then a ban (apparently) This is POTATOES and should be changed back as it is the best in alot of peoples opinions PvP zones where you dont get an elude/MoG like power to make you invicible but you get enough powers to be able to play properly.

Think I might have to impose some PvP on everyone in the zone tonight. 
Im not a great fan of PvP, but i do like the occasional trip to SC, not only because it is my favourite pvp zone, its the only one that lets you play fairly, when i say fairly, i mean without the chance of your opponent sticking elude or such on, this is just plain silly, RP'ers have a number of non-pvp zones to rp in, and pocketD if they require the company of villains

Ok, i would just like to say! That one i dont PvP BUT......
Its one NIGHT! Im sure you can all live without PvP In sirens for One night! Plus there are other zones for PvP!
The Rp'ers Have a right to go there and RP if they want and at the end of the day its the devs decision so well you are gonna have to lump it!
I just dont see the point in all this nonsense, Liek im reading arena and seeing people saying there gonna go to Warburg and get bombs and Bombs then, even though ya cant do it, seriously what would you achieve by doing this anyway? I can tell you what NOTHING! It would just be a childish act!
Anyway thats all i have to say, i respect the people who PvP But i also respect the People who RP and think they both should ahve the same rights! So everyone Monday ya cant PvP In sirens from 7pm so WHAT? Not that big of deal im sure you will all live!
So In conclusion just let them be! xD
If this is true, the devs are idiots. They have zone instancing tech, they could just permanently create an RP version of sirens and you'd be promped for which one you want to enter everytime you try to get to the zone.
i think i can safely say that considering the size of the community of Heroes/villains this has been done for a very small Minority of people. why do rper need to disrupt a PvP zone? when there already is a Neutral zone in the form of Pocket D what makes Pocket D so differnt from SC? if the devs want to do soemthing for Rpers then do something that will benefit all not jsut the minority by bringing back the co-op missions that we had in Pocket D on Valentines Day (ofc there is still the snaptooth missions but thats only available if you did enough missions on the day) i for one am for it a place where Rpers and Non Rpers can team up regardless of heroe/villain and do missions/chat and at the same time not spoil the fun and enjoyment of prob one of the most popular and busiest PvP zones in the game. for the record i am not a big fan of pvp but i do enjoy it now and again likewise with RP although i have never gone to any RP event.

An houre, a day or a week, that doesn't matter.
And what's the sense ov RP'ing in a zone which has been artificially modified to avoid fights between opposite factions? What kind of RP is that?

You make a good point, and yeah maybe they should if they are going to keep this as a regular fixture of the game!
But to those who are still bickering on arena, going about it this way is not gonna get ya what ya want? Make valid suggestions like Max has without the Cussing or im gonna Bomb GG? Maybe then you will get somewhere!
I suspect that, if this really is true, there's a bit more to it then we know. I can't see any advantage to RPing in a Siren's where you can't PvP, to RPing in a non-PvP zone, so I think I'll wait and see before drawing conclusions.

Well until a comment is made by the devs maybe we should hold fire.
However, if this is true then I for one will be sending a PM as I think its a terrible idea.
There are more than enough zones to RP in and Sirens is the one zone people actually enjoy.
Okay it may just be one night but non PVPers dont have to enter the zone, why should people who do enjoy it be told they cant.

If its 'we're in a hostile zone going to free it from the villains' erm .. surely having villains attack you really helps add to the 'OMG DANGER' factor of the zone? Perhaps!?

Seems kinda screwy that the devs would do this change on a live Server prior to doing it on test and would do it without making any kind of public announcement.

Oh my god you guys are gullible. Did it not occur to you that this was completely ridiculous? Something like this will NEVER happen, but it goes to show how easy it is to convince so many people that it is! I haven't laughed harder at a videogame in months. It got even better when it spread to Defiant too! Evidently both servers are as gullible as each other!
I'd like to extend special thanks to Jumanji who played along to the end, and even started this thread for me. Special mention also goes to Siru Jim who played along fantastically as well.
We got you guys good.
Edit: Just to clarify, my character on Union was Sumiyaka, a soon to be PvP specced Illusion/Empathy controller.

But seriously, it started as a joke. Someone made a throwaway comment, and we ran with it - it was meant to last for a couple of minutes at most, but it spiralled out of control.
Some of it was a bit too out of control, and a few petitions flew back and forth - but all in all it was a joke.
Apologies to any GMs who get confusing petitions about SC turning RP only.
I thought it was pretty interesting to see some REAL opinions broadcast across Arena too. Jeez, you guys hate RP for no real reason. People threatening to leave over this? Crackers
