GG has people turning up on a specific time/date. Atlas doesn't, GG is easier to predict.

Oh right, I only heard about the Galaxy one. Saw Atlas in a video made by the Americans, which gave the idea in the first place.

Actually the arena on Defiant was fairly amusing, the people protesting heavily didn't seem to be taken seriously. MaX was telling me I should have logged my second account onto Union to see how they'd taken it somewhat differently.
As I logged on mid protest it wasn't imediately apparent to me it was a joke, cause some people were really fired up about it. But then it just made me laugh more when it clicked to me. The fact it was something so unbelievable and I almost believed it..... I just wanted to say good one guys.

If any RPers want to come to Bloody Bay, I'm sure they'll be quite safe, PVP flags or not.

RP'ers complain. Level 1's get upset and tend to leave for other games.
Tonight has been an eye opener at least. And there are still spammers at GG and most other RP events 99% of the time.
As Xanthus said, RP'ers care; PvP'ers don't.

id hate to think that there was a rift between RPers and PvPers and quite frankly i doubt that there is. Simply just a very small bunch that dont like RPers (i have come accross some bitchiness directed at RPers, comments that have often made me wonder why they play MMORPG) and sadly get put under the PvP bracket, but then it works the other way there are players out there that cant stand PvP and dislike certain players that take part in it, are these players Rpers maybe? mabye not? but to say RPers and PvPers dont get along or theres a "rift" is kinda jumping the gun after all you can do both quite easily... as some have already said so in this thread. so yeah as someone has alreayd mentioned if players are giving you grief simply /ignore

City of Heroes and Villains are labelled as "Massively Mutliplayer Online Game" there's no mention of Roleplaying at all.
Which is probably why a lot of the existing world pretty much sucks for Roleplaying other than a change of scenery.
The people who pulled the prank are partly to blame for any trouble, but so are the ones who over-reacted - those who were out at the time and missed the whole thing are totally and utterly blameless

Then perhaps a costume creator with only normal, everyday clothes would be better, because if you give people the chance to make a character, there is the very real danger some of them may engage in some kind of RP 
And as for having a game where you can be a superhero or a supervillain, but never actually get to fight each other - well, that doesn't sound so much fun, does it?

Things seem to heat up when ever a new issue is announced and all the different 'social groups' want different things to be added to the game. For instance PvPers want more PvP zones and Arena bugs to be fixed. RPers want new emotes and things for immersion. PvEers want new content. Veterans want new level 40+ content. Heroes want Hero content, Villains want villain content.
Divisions were definatly more obvious around I6 and I7 as there was mostly villain and PvP content.
