Like I said in the topic.
Punch can now look like a Punch, not a hammer blow.
Smashing Haymaker now looks like a Haymaker, not a double fist overhead strike.
Loving the ground strike for footstomp, mirrors the AoE that Statesman, Imperious and Reichsman use (Hammer of Justice used by Statesman and Imperious and Fist of Tyranny used by Reichsman).
Overall the new animations are FTW... to the point I doubt we'll be even seeing the old animations that much again, except for Footstomp because it's still a good animation.
I agree the fist smash looks awesome.

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.
Hrm, old KO Blow is much better than the new, but the other animations look pretty hot.
The Ground-Punch footstomp will look very awesome with /Shield

I'm excited to take my SS/WP out of retirement. He's been sitting at 38 for quite awhile. I've always wanted a high DPS street fighter set...now I can actually use Brawl, Jab, Punch, and Haymaker to give me that feel. Good stuff all around for Super Strength.
Messing around on Mids I was only able to get upto 165 DPS with Brawl/Jab/Punch/Haymaker. By adding in Gloom it jumps upto 198 DPS. This assuming 75% fury and Rage. (not double stacked or anything)
I can't remember off hand, but I think my IO'd out DB does about 200-210 DPS....not sure though. I think last I heard Dark Melee had the highest single target DPS...anyone know what DPS numbers Dark Melee can put up? Just trying to figure out if this Super Strength build is good enough to spend the time on. It's been awhile and I can't remember what is actually good..200?....250? Thanks for any help.
If I remember right the chart that Billz put up in the scrapper forum for SS has it at about 210 with a chain of KO/Gloom/Haymaker/Punch/Haymaker. You'll need about 250% recharge in KO to make it possible. With Hasten up I'm close, but I haven't enhanced for that last bit. I don't ever use Jab, and rarely use Brawl.
Wow, 250% recharge is alot. I'm not a fan of hasten, or at least the crash. Especially on a Super Strength character with rage crashing all the time. My build is for the "look" or "feel" first and foremost, but I just wanna make sure it is good enough that I will enjoy it after sinking time and Inf into it.
If Billz chart had SS at 210 with that much recharge, then 198 should do just fine Plus all 5 attacks in the chain are basicly one second cast times, so it's going to be a good fury builder.
Think I'll go respec him now and then wait patiently for issue 16 to drop.
