Has AE KOed CoX?

I saw someone mention Channel VU2009, another good one is Virtuebadges09.

Where did you broadcast for teams? If it was a zone other than Atlas Park, yea, sometimes it will be quiet. A couple of weeks ago I wanted to do Sister Psyche TF, so I went to Atlas Park and broadcast for a team and had 4 tells in under 30 seconds and filled the rest of the team from global channels.

After I finished that TF, I was doing some selling at WW and saw a broadcast for Sister Psyche in Steel and swapped to another toon to run again. Then later that night I switched to Infinity and ran the TF once again.

Earlier this week, I saw a broadcast on Virtuebadges09 that someone needed the exploration badge from Skyway Safeguard mission. I switched to a level appropriate toon, invited the broadcaster, went to Steel and broadcast for a radio team. I had a full team in about 2 minutes on a tuesday afternoon.

They have a section of the forums where folks post outlines of their missions as well as folks giving reviews of various mission .

when im not farming prestige for my solo SG in the AE I run AE missions i've read about and that sounded of intrest to me . we also sometimes do dumpster diving ...namely hitting all the one starred missions we can and groaning

Afraid one little post will destroy your AE farms much?

I put "I don't do AE farms" in the team search comments on a toon. I started to get lots of non-farm invite every time I set it to Looking for Team. I never have trouble finding a mission team.

LOL at the people who are all, "No." With no caveats or ground given.

It obviously has had SOME effect. I play on servers besides Virtue and the effect is a bit more noticeable on other servers.

Where is Kings Row?

The only thing I hate is the cess pool that Atlas Park has turned into and the spam.

The fact that according to search around 40-50% of the server is in that one zone doesn't help either.

Choose Galaxy City.
If enough people did, it would become the new hotspot for CCs and such, while the AE spam would stay in AP.

AE is a great tool and gives you some really cool abilities. I was getting fed up with the same crap we would normally see and now I can make my own or try and find someone else's cool creation.

Currently AE is being abused but I am sure anything new will be exploited as much as possible. It's a new toy - let the novelty wear off and maybe things will return to 'normal'

Heck I remember when it was Werewolf runs for the farmers, I do miss being able to have a tank heard a zone and kill then in seconds...

It will be nerfed badly, I wouldn't be shocked if they reduce the AE XP to under 50%

Nerfing EXP would totally remove all purpose for the Architect in the first place. Many of us visioned 1-50 on our own terms, through OUR story. So what good would it do to completely gimp the most innovative feature of the game because some so-called elists whined about how others spend their 15 bucks.

There was no doubt that it was going to be abused, but farming is just something that comes with any MMO. People are always gonna find a way to do it. Mark my words, folks will always find a way to farm.

Accept that and just LEAVE ATLAS PARK. Damn ya'll, it's that easy.

it really is this easy , as for finding teams im not having any issues and I still run TF's regularly.

VU2009 as well as a number of channels mentioned make finding teams rather easy .

To be honest, for the first time in my life, I'm actually sort of glad Villain have Mercy Island. :P

I absolutely hate Mercy as a starting zone. But you gotta admit. Since AE came out, it's a "better" starting zone for new players who wanna see the challenges the non-AE content has to offer. Of course "better" is subjective.

It surprises me that Cap and AP are the two big spots for the AE Farmers.
Talos or Steel Canyon strike me as being the counterparts to Cap, not AP.
And Mercy is CoV's counterpoint to GC and AP, and has an AE building, yet it's quiet.

One has to wonder how many people who needed to hear that are going to actually listen.

Or read the forums for that matter. I mean most of them don't even know it's not "legal" nor care about the possiblity of suspension as noted from their blatant advertising of

"lvl 34 fill in the blank searching for farm bubble farm."

"Dude, bubble farms are no longer."

"Oh, lvl 34 fill in the blank searching for Rikti farm."

"Dude, go back to Farmdom and leave Virtue alone."

That's paraphrashing and being nice of course. I can't even in good conscience retype the dribble I see sometimes in Atlas broadcast.

BUT, there are still some good teaming to be had if you just look a bit and are a little patient.

I still maintain that rewards need to be removed from AE missions aside from a token mission completion reward.

It was intended to be used to tell stories. With no rewards it would actually be used for it's purpose.
