Please give my best wishes to DC. I didn't know him as I never played on Victory but from what I read he seems like a great player, and I dislike seeing a server loose a great player.
you're in my thoughts DC and his family and friends. Just know your journey is just starting don't loose hope and don't be scared maybe we will meet sometime on the other side

Weather Control... yea I went there.
Edit: I also vote for Dubstep control! And port over Sonic Assault oooo snap -
Made me laugh. The use of a god and his/her power and lending it to their followers is the use of magic no matter how you look at it. Priest that heal, exorcist that banish demons and such is a use of magic lending off of their god they follow.

O M G old people! Head for the hills!
To be on track, I can suggest you to the SG I am proud and a part of Legion of Freedom. We don't accept people based on just their age, but we are mostly all adults in the views of others. I can also say check the stickies up top... best way to find a SG you'll like is to interact in the game with others around you. Get a lil friendly and join a SG (or VG) based on info from the characters (people) around in game. -
Rad is pretty good. Not as much damage as fire, but it has great AoEs while in groups. Solo play may be a little slower though. I leveled up a 50 Kin/Rad Defender, and now doing Rad/Kin Corruptor which I am still having fun with.
To the OP I suggest you try the different sets out yourself (maybe on Beta and request for a bump to 50) just to see which set you feel you have more fun with. -

Welcome to Virtue. So you sobered up and wanna RP?
Hope you enjoy your stay and play much more. Hopefully the newness won't wear thin and you find a lovely SG to join.

Lasher is undefeated! I heard it so! Billy bob told me, Mary Sue told him, and some god told her. Yep I heard it is true.

(I love it!!! Go ahead killer her!
My characters will look the other way)

Quote:Eh, Duray was copy/pasting from a script. Said the same thing on each server. Zwillinger was being professional and friendly I think. Of course he didn't have to tell anyone they were going to Pocket D and handing out titles that people love (RPers seem to love them moar)... I think he was a nice invader.Aye the lag was annoying. This game can't really handle large events of any capacity though. So you have to take that on boards before judging it. Plus this event was largely a stress test...so don't show up to it and expect it to run smoothly. I just took what was given to me and made the most out of it. I would not have stuck with it if I didn't find it amusing.
The Praetorians motives for attacking us were clearly outlined in Admin chat. They were there to clear up the Seedlings...and were going to drop us if we got too close. Duray said it was his problem, and that he wanted to clean it up without our help. To the point of attacking us!
The spawns were frequent for me. I guess you were just unlucky.
Not really disagreeing with you. Just my take on the event.
One thing that bugged me though was Zwillinger. We had Duray basically RPing with us in admin chat progressing the story and all that. Then "NCSOFT_Zwillinger" rolls up. Says something like:
NCSOFT_Zwillinger: Okay heroes & villains! We're Goign to Pocket D! See you there! We'll be handing out Golden Titles to everyone!
NCSOFT_Zwillinger: *going
NCSOFT_Zwillinger: I don't need to know how to spell! I'm invading your planet!
NCSOFT_Zwillinger
Here's some advice in CR 101: Don't treat the admin channel like a yahoo chatroom. If you are sending out a message to every tab of every player in the game make it short and to the point. The people playing the game aren't your friends. Don't act overly familiar. Don't spam. Don't make jokes. The people playing CoH aren't playing with you. They're playing with each other.
In other words: be professional. -

omg nub!!
Quote:That's not really any better.
Yeah, okay, maybe I was a little hasty. Next time I get asked something similar, I'll at least wait to hear what exactly they want from me before I tell them "no". -
