Yea the sad truth was i was used both heals and MoG, then demonic and still died. I'm not sure how, i havn't died in demonic for a long time, or eye of the something blue side. Well there were 2 thug MMs, both used gang war, i know u phased for awhile to get ur health back which was a little break since now of the pets or heavies could touch us, but cleo (if i'm correct was the other MM) killed the squishies and then i was in the middle of the entire mess with the heavy. It might have nuked me, or even just hit me with a melee attack as those really hurt.
Again, it was pretty fast so i missed what was happening. So i switched to my Blaster and started TPing both of you :P

These fight clubbers are extremely resistant. They refuse to obey the laws and continue with their protests on the boards. I believe we need to step up law enforcement and show no mercy for these violators.

i RP all my toons, and agent is as old as the game itself. I play him exactly like the first. Only difference is i don't have a full tray of breakfrees, which i'm somewhat glad they are useless always hated getting them.
Did i TP you out of a duel or something? Last time i checked, TP foe is a power anybody can get and use in PvP. Why did i TP for u in the air? If u were on the ground right away u could run. No Super jump and by the time u hit the ground my snipe has gone off and slug finishes you.
Yea it was funny, when u ran out of oranges i guess u just switched, lol.
Usually when u drop a flier, they super speed away. It's just more frustrating with me because i TP. Perma travel surpression is hard without a toggle on me, so i can TP away from basically anything. Webbing me is basically the same as TPing me into 20 trip mines. I'm not gonna stick around to watch what happens when it's so obvious.
And hey, they got me yesterday. Wasn't actually angry but impressed they got past. 1 webbed, and did ET while another ASed. It's fine because i know to fix that so it won't happen again anyway.
Agent is a weak toon. He can't do hell in a fair fight. Ryu is stronger and can take people out with multiple enemies on him so he sticks around. Also after they go thru all my heals, MoG, IH, demonic and things. It would be rude to just run to base, they worked for probably 5 mins just attacking me. How would running help? Would i get more kills? no. I don't really see the point. But agent can be taken down in seconds and he has a reputation of not dieing.

Oh, as an aside: I had 16 oranges and 4 greens on me that day, used two oranges, got bored, and went back to Freedom where there was actual PvP.

My pvp character never duels, but I usually leave the actual
combatants alone. Spectators receive no such benefit, of course.
Nevertheless, after reviewing the offer posted here, I find myself
re-considering my policy. Certainly, my Stalker would not be publicly
affiliated with any organization referring to itself as "Police".
However, it may be mutually beneficial to undertake some occasional
clandestine freelance "work" from time to time as circumstances warrant.
My contact agent for such "assignments" should be fairly intuitive for
astute Jupiterian Investigators such as I'm seeing here.
I will consider this possibility as my Stalker (L35) on Freedom expands
his nefarious undertakings. Regards.

Sentry, people with your attitude are a contributing factor to why I don't even bother with PVP zones anymore. Zones are for open PVP, and fight clubs undermine that. I've seen them completely extinguish open PVP in an open PVP zone, changing it into little more than a glorified arena.
That's inconsiderate to everyone who isn't there to duel. There is a whole system in this game to accommodate dueling--the Arena--but, because you're too lazy to use it, because it's out of your way, you expect others--players who've gone to a zone to engage in play the zone is specifically designed for--to abide by your special rules and conditions, put aside their own preferences, and sit around while you have your fun?
That's not "sharing" the place. That's co-opting it. And yah, that's gunna tick people off or just drive them away.

Rules? I’m not stating it’s a rule that you cannot attack me. I’m asking politely not to attack me and you are. If you walk into a zone and 30 people are duelers, it’s very very selfish to start breaking it all up? Don’t you agree?
I enter a PvP zone to duel. Why? Because everyone to duel is there. Let’s say I did what all of you say and go to the arena. Nobody would show up and I wouldn’t get fights. Let’s say I went to the zone and challenged someone to the arena, the most probably answer is “no” because it’s far away and a lot of loading times.
My ONLY choice is to challenge them there. Except your taking away the only choice I have because your selfish and aggressive.
I’m glad all my opinions and words are keeping you out, because I wouldn’t be surprised if you came in and stopped on my of my duels.
PvP zones don’t belong to anybody (yea I mean you con). I don’t go in and say “hey, nobody attack me, I’m dueling!” that would be ignorant, I agree. But going in, dueling and if someone tried to step in I say, “hey we’re just trying to duel here” that’s fine.
I guess you don’t see it, but not everybody likes getting ganked or ganking. Really, I’m not sure how that’s fun to you. Me and a lot of other people only enjoy fair duels. I wouldn’t step into a pvp zone except for the reason above, nobody is just sitting in the arena.
If zones are meant for open PvP, why can we duel? If we *can* duel in zones, we were *meant* to duel in zones. If I can do a handstand I was meant to do a handstand. You can look at it from both sides, but as an example I used in another thread, I believe humans were meant to fly because they were given the intellect to build machines that can fly. If it *can* happen it was *meant* to happen.
All I’m asking is you guys go play over there, and we’re gunna play over there. The only argument you have is everybody leaves your area, comes to mine and you get all mad. Leave us alone.

I’m not asking you to lay in [rest] in front of me and let me kill you. I’m not asking for you to do anything that would take away from you. If you had the power to leave me completely alone and it wouldn’t take anything from you, would you? Apparently your too selfish.
The purpose of the zone keeps dropping itself into this zone. Arena is duels and FFA. PvP zones is meant for duels and FFA.
I’ve done FFA in arena, only fun part I had was when everybody was on one side and a tank was fighting my brute. It was basically a tie so a bunch of people jumped in.
So apparently I’m wrecking the game for you because I was to be left alone to test my ability against someone else.
The original rules WERE NOT FUN, so we placed our own. I understand not everybody likes them, but that doesn’t mean you should hate on the players that enjoy us. Really, if so many people are dueling that it kills the zone, that shows what the people want. You shouldn’t mess it up for everyone. If only 4 people are dueling, you have other people to kill, I’m asking you to fight those who want too. I’m forced to enter the zone for duels. As explained above I have no other choices.

If I *can* kill any opposing force in the zone, dueling or not, then I was *meant* to kill any opposing force in the zone, dueling or not.
If your duels *can* be interrupted, then your duels were *meant* to be interrupted. In the arena, your duels can not be interrupted. Therefor, they were not meant to be interrupted in the arena.

Lucky for you guys, the /arenalist command coming in I16 means you don't even have to load into Pocket D - you can bring up the arena interface, select your options, invite the other person, teleport right into a match, and when you're done you'll come out right where you were before. Amusingly I don't even see your kind using that option, so you'll still continue to come to the boards and whine about how life is so unfair even though you refuse to use the tools available to you.

It is not rude to engage in open PVP in an open PVP zone. The conditions of an open PVP zone are stated every time you enter it.
