Welcome aboard. Do you have any toons on the freedom server?
During our sweeps, after clearing out the subway completely, we also found a few secret offenders breaking the law by charlie bunker, unfortunately we we're forced to kill enemy observers as well, as to not blow our cover.
The funny thing is, even though you seem like one of the whiners that got the changes made in the first place, you're probably still bad..------Macskull on Crop_of_shaolin

Freedom? No thanks. My experience on that server has been nothing but [censored] and retards. I'm sure there's a few exceptions but I don't like having to wade through the rest of the idiocy to get to them.
Was in RV today messing up duels left and right. they started in the train but after i took that over they got a little more creative. took a duel down under the highway near train and another near echo. had 2 people saying they would report me. those guys really dont like having that happen to them. the thing i dont get is most of them do nothing but duel in RV. ill never see alot of them show up in an actual fight in zone. Welcome to OPEN ZONE pvp.
and did anyone stop to think that maybe these are new players trying it out to see what it is about? i mean it is easier to just go to a zone then figure out the arena kiosk. and if they are new players, which is what the dev's wanted, you have just chased them out, which is what the dev's didn't want. good job keeping the PvP zones low population.

Maybe you should go there and hold their hands, and make them feel all better about the big bad people touching them. Or maybe, just maybe we all pretty much know who is who and enjoy thumping on the 'respec the station' crowd. After you whack em in the head a few times the zone turns into a, wait for it, pvp zone.

no, i understand that. but if you bust in on someone brand new to the sceen all you have done is drive them out. believe me i have been on both ends of the stick. i'm not fighting for either side. but take into consideration that these are the exact type of complaints the dev's got which helped them give us what has become PvP today. it also didn't help that the dev's snuck around test watching and not saying anything and assuming they knew what was going on.
like i said, i have been on both ends of the stick and when i was on the recieving end i stayed out of zones until a couple certain groups left. then i went in and was actually able to watch the open PvP and figure out what was going on. yeah i took some deaths, but they weren't 1 after the next after the next unlike what i was getting from the affore mentioned groups. when i felt comfortable i joined in. took about a week or 2 of watching and asking questions but i got to the point where i felt comfortable. now after a yr and a half i have found myself doing the same thing to new people that was done to me by the nicer groups. and we have actually had new people come back rather then stay out.
Almost all the people I know who are against fightclub aren't really against it in and of itself. Its more against the all cap typing mouth breathing retards that rp how honorable are and how they follow their made up codes. I honestly don't know anyone who I team with on a regular basis or have on my global friends list who would berate someone being nice and looking for help. By the same token there isn't alot lot of them I would want to fire up at if a totally clueless dbag who thinks the world should revolve around them.
I am glad you think the coddling everyone idea will foster a new bright tomorrow, sadly you are horribly mistaken. They same idiots I know who were like that when pvp came out are still like that. You can't fix stupid. And lol at thinking pvpers attitudes had any bearing on the changes. All the people who post down in this section did was come with great ideas with detailed info on how to improve pvp. Guess what they got for all that hard work.
And a last little add on. Arena kiosk aren't so inherently hard to use that it should justify a whole zone that is intended for open pvp to have to stand around and check who they attack. If you don't want to be interrupted, haul your numskull [censored] to the arena or just [censored] and fight.

Did you ever stop to think that it is more difficult to learn about PvP in the zone as opposed to finding a friend and learning the basics in a safe and controlled environment like the arena?
Apparently not.

you know i was about to leave a 1/2 thread page long answer, but your 2 yr old attitudes aren't worth it. enjoy having no one new to play with in the zones while on my server we keep adding new people to play with. later.

Spoken like someone with the attitude of a 2 year old. gl hf what ever server you are on. I feel bad most of us are killing pvp on freedom, it will be so dead soon enough because of our poor attitudes. And to think we could have been saved by you.

yea i have thought about that but it makes more sense to actually go to a zone to learn about the team aspect rather then 1 vs 1 arena. like i said in my second post, that is how i learned but i had to go in when there were people in there who understood i was there trying to watch and learn. that is after all, the only way to learn a team environment rather then just being thrown into the frey and being farmed to the point you just give up.
Thought you were leaving.
Edit: also fightclub has jack [censored] to do with learning how to pvp in a team environment. You really are probably better off just leaving.

No, PvP is what it is today because someone decided skill should have less of an impact than what build you're using. It's been admitted that PvPers were too good at what they were doing (omg, someone who does something a lot gets good at it!?) so they needed to nerf skill so little Johnny could feel like he could accomplish something without having to put any time or effort into learning the game (but go figure, most of those people don't PvP any more now than they did before I13, and those that do are the loudmouthed baddos that all the decent PvPers farm).
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
To be fair, the game didn't take any real skill before. It just takes less now.
And to the idiot defending fight club: play on justice for a year before you start making [censored] up. The only reason people fightclub is because theyre bad and afraid.
@TheBro
solo pvp?
Cooler than every single owl EVER.
who said i was defending fightclub? didn't you read in one of my posts that i'm not fighting for either way other then to get new people involved in PvP rather then chase them out never to return again? of course that is just more of the l337i57 2yr old attitude comming out of another set of feathers ruffled.
edit: believe me when i say that we do tell the fightclubbers to go to arena or pk d for that kind of stuff. which ends up in broadcast PvP for quite some time.
Don't presume that you offended me, I'm just pointing out that you're wrong. I figured it would be rude to let you go on thinking that you had a valid opinion.

if i hadn't offended you, you wouldn't have resorted to 2 yr old tactics of name calling and swearing now would you have? and i would ask you to point out where i was wrong, but that would totaly derail the thread. so don't bother. you and others have obviously mistaken what i said in my first post here and assumed i meant the PvP'ers being the ones that caused the changes.
