I hate that girl mostly because it looks like her parents were a giraffe and a horse so it is basically a fcked up child which is Frost Elf Downs. wow i don't even know where to start. umm pvp recipes. Let's pretend that laws don't exist and everytime i kick someone in real life, i don't get caught and i make 5$. Would i kick anybody? Of course not. I'm not a bully.

Watching duels is part of pvp. It's one of my favourite parts. I get to watch 2 pros that are better then me duke it out in a pure skill fight. And yes, skill. Skill in making the build, skill in what to hit what buttons and seeing their knowledge of themselves and their enemy. I learned everything i know from watching duels.

I don't hate when the zone changes into a war zone, it can be really fun. But when there is a team of 8 vills out there and i'm the only hero, i have the choice of killing the zone by leaving or asking someone for a duel. If someone interupts my duel, i leave. The zone is dead, nobody wants to switch to the losing side and then people slowly leave.

When the zone is just watching duels or doing duels themselves, i have invited an emp, but aside from not using caps i politely ask them to not buff us, or atleast not buff me incase i get challenged. I've never been in the situtation with emp that would buff me after i asked not too, but i imagine i would just switch and kill them. Of course unless they were dueling, i can wait then.

Personally i can kill people without inspirations or numbers, and i feel much better then it's a fair game and i win. It proves i have more skill/knowledge/experience. Unless of course i'm something like a thug/pain or an ele/therm.

PvP is more then just seeing an orange name and attacking them with 3 of your buddies. I don't see much fun in that, atleast i don't see the challenge.

If in PvP duels didn't exist, i would probably quit the game. I'm competitive with online games and like to see myself grow by surpassing people i have lost to in the past.

The arena is out of the way, if i'm going to challenge someone i think it's rude to ask them to meet me somewhere. The challenger usually goes to the person they want to challenge so it's not inconvenient. It's much more simple to just say, i'll come to you and fight you there. In test with i16 i saw u can open arena anywhere, and this is help a lot.

I can understand that you guys don't want a challenge, you would rather beat on 1 person with tons of back up then fight in a fair duel. But just because you don't like duels doesn't mean u should stop duels completly.

2 people are fighting over there. You can interupt them, but i really don't see the point. Just because you can do something doesn't mean u should. Even if u get a somewhat small benefit, if it hurts other people i don't really see a point

If you get ur kicks from making other people mad, you should really work on that.

If there is a noob thats been bothering you, sure, interupt the duel. But i for one don't trash talk or gang up on people, so don't interupt mine.

People are supposed to be civil. And this is probably one reason the devs don't repect the pvp community, and it's a reason i dont.

It all comes down to, your telling us to go to the arena to duel. But we don't want to go all the way to the arena to duel, we want to share the place. So, you attack us and form groups to stop dueling. Isn't it obvious who the villain of the piece is? Really, we're peaceful, on our own dueling, and you come and kill us.

In real life you would gain a lot. Land, resources, people. But in this game u have a "chance" for something, that is small non the less.

Now i feel like someone is going to bring it up again, so i'm going to explain it twice. Yes, we have a choice to the arena, where we are perfectly safe from you. But, again, it's out of our way. Your trying to make us work for something we don't have too.

It's somewhat brutish to attack someone for no reason aside from getting them mad.

By watching PvP i become better at PvP. When it's a warzone, i can't watch others fighting. I have to fend for myself to make sure i don't die. All real warzone PvP has taught me is to use web nade, call the target i webbed and press 1-3 buttons. No skill, no challenge, no fun.

I believe there is honor in pvp. Some people are respected PvPers, other arn't. Anybody who drones more then 2 times isn't respected in my eyes.

I don't need to test my skill, i need people to know my skill and i need to know other peoples skill. If i'm fighting someone and i win, i have more skill. Well, it gets more complicated with counter builds etc. But that's the basic view. If i have emp buffs and i win, it wasn't skill, it was that emp buffing you. I've learned nothing in that battle.

Are you forgeting that even though it's a game, it includes real people? The visual effects are not real, but the conversations and actions are.

I'm asking you to be more human and not attack everyone you see, because you will get people angry.

Actually it's Player vs Player, not exactly Players vs Players. and Seriously? Attacking an orange name, and it not being a fair game is PvP to you? More of a slaughter, and not being a psycho, i have fun slaughting people.

You don't consider dueling PvP? Even though it's Player vs Player. I, and a lot of other people, dont have fun ganging up on others. There's no real point. So, 5 of us, 1 of him. We kill him, well that was obvious, he didn't have a chance. What did i gain from it? Usually nothing. Oh look another random person, let's go gang up on them. Killed another one, congratulations....


The reason for Player vs Player is the challenge. What is more challenging then facing another human like yourself in a battle of the wits? It's more challenging then something like tanking 2 AVs, because the AVs are predictiable. I wouldn't be surprised if after enough research you would know what attacks they use, what order and even the exact timing. With humans, you could have all the time you need, but since everyong is different, overall you would have no idea. Ganging up on someone isn't a challenge. If you ejoy that, why not get a 8 man team and gang up on an AV? Your going to win both, but 1 didn't hurt someone.

At least the make you wait 30 seconds between spam replies these days. I don't have to try so hard to trow c-c-c-c-combo breakers up into your multi post meanderings of wrongness.






Last time, seriously. they have an area for 1 v 1 uninterrupted dueling. Please go there, stay there and quit your ********. I will be in my zone using it the way it is intended. Thanks for playing.

Why do u want to beat on 1 person when you have a hude advantage? Where's the fun? It's not like ur better then them, you had numbers. Do you PvP just so u can strike fear in people and so you can taunt them in broadcast?

Now i've thought about it, i lol at warzone pvp. There is no point, it's not even entertaining.

I've talked about the arena twice in my posts because i knew someone would bring it up. It's the only defense you have. You refuse to listen to what i'm saying....

I'm not going to the arena because some jerks are controlling the zone. One of my favourite quotes is "Don't let ignorant people control your life". And that's exactly what i'm doing. I don't care if u threaten or kill us. I'm in the zone to duel, not gang up on helpless people. I like a challenge.

If i want to duel, why do i have to travel all the way over to Pocket D and back? I *can* duel in the zone, there's no rules against that.

if i have a choice to remain in the zone and duel, or travel to Pocket D and duel, what do u think i'm going to pick? It's simple, i choose to stay in the zone, it's much easier for me and the person i'm dueling.

Sentry4 I totally agree with you. I would love to be part of your fight club and help protect our brothers and sisters from this police menace. Just let me know what server you play on, your global and all of your PvP toons and we will hook up.

Arena is strictly dueling.

RV is both dueling and warzone pvp.

Now, which would most people choose? RV of course. That's why i'm not going to wait in Pocket D for someone to show up. I know plenty of people who enjoy both, and they stay in RV to do both.

Even if i hate warzone, it doesn't mean every dueler does. I probably will still do warzone for pvp recipe purposes, but not for fun.

If i want to duel strictly duelers, i will go to Pocket D.

If i want to duel anybody that's up for it, i will stay in RV.

Im not a pvp by trade but isnt 'dueling' in an open pvp zone kinda abusing the system? Basicly all your doing is trading kills for badges. If you want to duel why dont they take it to the arena or pocket D? Makes no sense to me. Both those venues are for 'dueling' pvp zones are open zones for full pvp. Complaining about being killed during a duel in an open pvp area is like complaining that a mac truck hit your go-cart on the freeway..
