Technically, the climate does warm up, so it would be true. however, cases can be made that humans are not responsible.
Also, the climate does cool down as well. Hence the use of "Climate change" instead of "Global Warming". The scientists are tired of crying "Global Warming" then watching the coolest temps on record happen. The changing their cry to "Global Cooling" then watching the hottest temps on record occur.
I swear the weather is doing that just to make them look like fools. Same thing is does to the weather forecasters...

The last I heard, we're still coming out of the last ice age. When the earth is running at its "normal" temperature, virtually the entire planet aside from the poles is a tropical paradise. There are no "seasons" in the "normal" Earth temperature.
From what I'd heard the time of the dinosaurs was the last time that were WEREN'T either in or coming out of an ice age.
I've seen movies PG-13 that are worse in this... besides, they get to say [censored], [censored] and damn in those movies.

Definitely fact. The people who originally tried to debunk it were the CEOs and people who stood to lose something if action was taken. Their pre-emptive attempt to turn it into a conspiracy fooled people who had never heard of global warming before worked by getting to people before they heard the facts. And they did it all based on lies.

Global warming is both fact and fiction.
There have been marked increases in global warming trends, outside the planet's usual heating and cooling pattern. And these increases do coincide with the industrial revolution. They are not, however, as great as some would have you believe. Originally, global warming was debunked by corporations and other entities who stood to lose if it was proven true. Climate change (both warmer and cooler) is a historical fact, pretty much indisuptable at this point.
Man made climate change, which is what people are normally discussing, is agreed upon by broad scientific consensus, the main arguments being the reative importance of the factors and the rates of change.
Broad sceintific consensus doesn't mean everyone, and there are still some reputable scientists (and many not so reputatable psuedo scientists), who are yet to agree. Yet to agree doesn't mean they dismiss it either, but generally want to see more evidence and causes pinned down.
IPCC Forth assessmnet which I urge everyone to read at least the high level summary for policy makers.

Am I the only person who realizes the hilarity in the "zomg crossdressing" comments...when you could make a male character as a female player, and a female character as a male player...SINCE LAUNCH!?
It's not even a transgender or crossdressing issue, it's "My tastes and character concepts have changed, so I want to rename/regender/respec my toon" issue. And complete and utter knee jerk morons are making it needlessly complex.
That and world of warcraft let's you pay to change the gender of your characters also.... And even in that community of mental midgets I didn't have to hear watchdog group-ish barking over such things..
