I feel like it's necessary for me to mention that I don't have any fighting skills (i beet u @ brawl), nor do I have a fire/kin.
I have a pretty fire fairy as my avatar, but that's about as far as I go.

Being able to double stacking 50% of the time with just SO's and almost perma double stacked with SO's + a power IN kinetics (siphon speed) just screams "nerf me"
I've run a mind/kin to 50 and a now deleted lvl 41 earth/kin and tbh not being damage capped after lvl 39 was an unusual experience solo, or teamed.
My prediction: buff duration cut to 30 sec. (debuff is already 30 sec hmm). Base recharge bumped to 90 sec.
Still be a great power, but that day is gonna be sad.

Fulcrum Shift has been changed 2 times already from what I've read.
Also, Fire Control used to have WAY more Fire Imps than they do now, not to mention they have 1 attack, no resistances and a glass jaw. Pleaes do not nerf herd when you have 0 idea of what you're speaking of.

I'm a former soldier. Okay, I'm a geek, but I know my weaponry. This isn't exactly unique - many folks who play this game are military. Plenty of folks here know martial arts or whatever.

As other posters have already said, Fire/Kin has been 'nerfed' before. People still play Fire/Kin characters, because the combination is still good. Psychic Shockwave for Dominators has been changed, but it's still a damn good AoE, and Dominators have gotten a damage buff. Try again.

It's Psychic Shockwave, not 'Shockwave'. And they have nerfed the number of pets a controller can spawn. It's not our fault that you didn't know that.
You've made claims, but have no proof. Do you know why people have quit the game? I stopped playing for a year, not because of nerfs but because of money. Do you know that everyone has a Fire/Kin? I don't.
Your facts are wrong. Fire Control and Kinetics have both been affected by balance changes in the past. But you insist those powersets have never been 'nerfed'.

This whole thread is pointless, I don't like the Dominator changes but I would be way more disappointed if they came after my Fire/Kin. My Fire/Kin is only powerful because, 1, Fire Control has lots of damage and Kinetics boosts the damage even further while increasing my recharge, and keeping my endurance and health up. And, 2, because I purpled him out.
Borking either Kinetics or Fire Control would not only piss me off and nerf the Fire/kin but it would nerf all combinations of Fire/* or */Kin depending on which they decided to change.
I'm not pointing fingers but there are a lot more power single sets than Fire Control and Kinetics put together. Such as Willpower, Stone, Rad, or Psy as it is now on live.
Farming is not the only thing I do with my fire/kin in fact I barely do that much at all any more. I love to run tfs, badge hunt, gm hunt, and go AE dumpster diving.
But I also have my main, a level 50 Fire/Emp, level 50 Energy/kin and level 50 Stone/Kin, so all that wasn't just defending the Fire/Kin but all of those toons. I would hate for my Fire/Emp to seem any more gimp than he already feels (Pretty much relies on the Imps). And would hate for kin to get nerfed making my Stone/Kin feels even more borked (I hate Location AoEs).
