  1. I have the same problem, I have 19 months, from beta but cannot play this game much anymore. (Just unsubbed again).

    For me theres a more tangible reason,
    I love pvp and its complete garbage in this game.
    The pve is... nice, searching for fun power combos is...nice.. but thats all. It all boils down to lvling to 50, saving up inf (however you wanna do it) to set a toon, doing a few TF's and getting bored. Having ONE max lvl pvp zone gets really old REALLY fast and having to rebuild your toon for different pvp zones is kinda retarted. I don't think it will ever be fixed, its just too much work for a 5yr old game thats gonna be replaced someday.

    imo theres no quality pvp mmorpg's available right now which makes it tough.
  2. I revamped it abit, 2 poerformance shifters, and fixed terrify after using it I noticed stacking it is way more fun then slotting it for dps.

  3. So many good idea's, pve and pvp. Its nice to see people actually want to enjoy this game as far as pvp goes. alot of good ways to make non ae play more fun too.
  4. Looks fun. One thing about thorny assault really makes me mad. It looks about 1000x better then spines. spines looks like someone glued fricken banana's to your hero/villain. Change that crap!
  5. I wanted aid self, i have it while lvling. But theres no room for that and the ppp's I took. I NEED the resist toggle, and the end drain from soul if im gonna melee some. /nrg's endurance cost is retarted now, I wouldn't be suprised if it gets toned down soon.

    the "build up" like power is just graavy.
  6. scrapperdom tbh, so I'll definately keep the melee, and melee resists.I'm pretty good at knowing when its safe to melee, and when I have to blast or crowd control. The whole reason why im enjoying the /nrg dom is the fact that I can melee, nuke, or crowd control...

    I guess I should have mentioned that I almost always play melee, and the reason this interests me is I can dom, and still slap people around some. Though it may be failboat. We shall see.

    The power choices arent really in the right order. I'll be respeccing once I hit 50 so it wont matter.
  7. Ok, so just a warning, this is the FIRST build I didin't have someone else tell me how to slot. I'm SURE its garbage. All i did was guess how many slots id need for each power, and then slot according to most effective enhancement with best set bonuses. Plz cretique and feel free to flame all you want. Just give me options with those flames.

  8. Considering the mag of powerpush, im really shocked at how crappy the KB (or lack therof) of an /nrg dom is in pvp. Tested with power boost+ power push (should be mag 18) on an equal lvl shield brute with only active defense running (ie 10 mag protection). 30+ attempts to knock the brute back, all failures. So, is nrg just useless as far as KB and pvp goes?

    That in game message was mostly like automated, I almost never see a post for emergency maintinance from this game. TBH the way they (don't) post these in a timely (if at all) fation is one of many poeples pet peeves .
  11. I've never played a Dom before, and now seems the best time to start. Could you tell me what goes best with /energy for soloing? pve, and possibly pvp? (though I have pvp toons already so its not a must).

    Mine would have no AE at all, and quadrouple the recipe drop rate in zone pvp, all zones beyond maybe the 1st 2 lowbie ones open for some kind of pvp. with caps to enter the zones.

  17. Hmmm, although dm/sd looks good, i have an elec/sd and tbh, wanted to stay away from the look of holding one arm steady with a shield all the time. Silly I know. WP looks to be the way I'll go, i've never had a/wp anything and i've seen them do wonderful things. thanks for the great advice.

    Farming =/= exploit.
    PL =/= exploit.

    Anyone who claims otherwise is just an imbecile, no two ways about it. We're not talking about exploiting a bug in the game mechanic (duplicating items comes to mind) or a particular feature that isn't working as intended (the Rikti Comm officer bug is a good example). In reality, the LK system (including the max 5 level difference for maximizing exp) *is* working as intended. Auto-LKing a lowbie to 50 (or any level for that matter) in AE mission *is* working as intended. Being able to repeat an instanced mission (that isn't timed and is resetable) multiple times *is* working as intended. Running the most rewarding missions repeatedly for fictional monetary gain *is* working as intended. If some of you don't feel that those features are working as intended, feel free to point out any dev post which states otherwise. Until then, pardon me for dismissing these contrary "opinions" as inconsequential and invalid.

    Lastly, no MMO in history has ever banned someone for just *farming* or *powerleveling*. They've banned people for exploiting bugs or breaking code of conduct rules. That should pretty much tell you whether developers actually considering those things to be exploitation. As much as some of them may dislike those activities, they really can't do a whole lot about it, much less banning/suspending people. If they won't do anything drastically to police those activities, than none of you anti-farmers have the authority nor intelligence to come up with delusional rules of your own. This is why you can never leave the governance of a MMO to its players. There will always be some self righteous nitwit trying to impose their own imaginery rules onto others, thinking they're morally superior or somehow knows better. In truth, they don't know <bleep>.

    Update. My scrapper is now level 50. I had 4-5 farmers on hero side assist me. I am really disappointed with the ability of farmers on hero-side. Every farm I was in was like 7-8 people farming 54 bosses. This is so much slower than 1 brute laying waste to freak farms. Oh well.

    Once I hit 35 hero side, I went to Rikti War Zone and used my brute to pound out the last 15 levels in 4 hours.

    Thanks again to everyone to assisted my efforts. I did have to power level 4 new villains 1-32 in the process. (1 hour each).

    Also, Fire Control used to have WAY more Fire Imps than they do now, not to mention they have 1 attack, no resistances and a glass jaw. Pleaes do not nerf herd when you have 0 idea of what you're speaking of.

    <color red> right after the channel name, ie local. With a space. It didint work.
  24. So, im terribad at macro's, but along with the magic booster pack came those costume change emotes, and I have these three macro's ;
