Oh very much yes.
Cohort, we've got so many ideas. So many options. And, most of us are likely hoarders of some kind (I know I am) and so "throwing out" / deleting a toon is just... out of the question.
I've got 14 toons on Protector all at least level 12 now, and eventually when there's another free weekend I'll be probably deleting some off other unpaid accounts and recreating them there just so I can *play* them.
And, your avatar is going to give someone a siezure. You want that, don't you...

I like that idea, at least if they add another 12 we can mid for people with the amount of toon slots we have, and we could slot lvl 50 enhancements!
Oh and yeah, we need more slots per server because making a toon on a server that isn't your home server just isn't the same for a lot of people.

I don't have altitis in any way. I think I have 7(?) of my slots on Virtue, and haven't redeemed any of my free ones or bought new ones. I suck....

Some people only care to play on a single server, like me. Also, some of us have a lot of characters and play enough that we have a lot of high level stuff we can't delete. Right now I have 26 characters on Virtue, and I'm out of room. My friend has 36.

i don't think i can really argue against this unless a developer comes out and says "character slots take up huge amounts of space and disproportionately slow down the server" or something, but it seems odd to me to have so much space full of things that can't possibly be used that often
then again, it's likely that there is someone here who will post about how they play every one of their 53 characters for at least 2 hours a week so i may as well just give up now

Naw, would say that after investing a great deal of time into creating a character and have played him up into the 30s range it kills me to just delete him because I'm only playing him once or twice a month now. Why am I playing him less?, same thing always happens the darn DEV come up with some new AT like shields with infinite possibilties of what look like would be fun matchups. Maybe that new magic booster with the cool hat and cape and hood has sparked my interest in a new wizard-like char. You might think hey just go to tailor and make new costume. But for me making a character's name costume and powers all kinda fit are part of the fun. An old world wizard named cyberbot overtkill just doesn't hold the same appeal to me.
when I ran out of room on my home server, I moved. now all 36 slots on my new home are full. Not all 50s nor can I play them all at once, some may go months before I play again but I love everyone of my characters and it breaks my heart everytime I have to delete a lvl 35 blaster *hangs head in rememberance of Cap'n Power nrg/nrg* we had some great times my friend.
The sadness of how my lvl 50 nrg/wp tank will no longer be able to team with my friends as I broke down and had him transfered also to make room for a set that I've not tried but looks ripe with creative ideas for hero or villian.. the WM/Shield. (poor guy not only thrown out of his own house but was stripped of his name too as Supreme Power was taken on his new offworld colony)

Because there are so many combinations of awesome that I feel the need to play across all of the ATs, Hero and Villain side. I still need more character slots!

Thing is, if they come out with some free slots for Going Rogue, seems like they kind of jibbed the people who already bought out their home servers, doesn't it?
I know I don't plan on using any extra server slots I get on any other server but Champion, and if they don't plan on come out with more I guess I'll be waiting for ever.

Well I started off with 12 and then they GAVE me some more. Then they told me I could buy more if I wanted them and well... I have 36 on Virtue scatterd between 3 SuperGroups all of which I either run outright or am one of the top leaders. I have Tanks, and Scrapper and Trollers OH MY! Add in Fenders and Blaster and Warshades (okay so 1 warshade) with a variety of powersets and origins. It, it ... It all just happened so fast I couldn't help myself.
And now they have a new issue coming up that makes me want to transfer some of my villains to Virtue from Infinity so they can go Rogue! I need more slot I long for more slots Oh please can't we do something about this horrible situation?

That was always going to happen eventually. 36 slots is a *lot* of slots... if someone needs them all right nao, then yes, they will lose out if Paragon offers free slots in the future.

Like you I've created many alts over the years but I only have a few that I truly care about at this point. While I don't suffer from true altitis I can certainly sympathize with the condition. My particular OCD (guess what it is from my sig lines) lies upon a different path than theirs. 
That said I wouldn't have any problem with getting more character slots with GR regardless if I used them or not. It'd be yet another enticement for paying for the expansion and it's clear many people would enjoy having more space.
It'd be cool if there was a way to sell slots you weren't using to those people who could use them...

Hello, my name is Bad Wonka, and I am a recovering Altoholic. I have all 36 slots on my home server Champion filled with toons 14+. I also have filled up Virtue with 13 toons and Infinity with 12. Not much of an altoholic when it comes to moving to other servers, I like to just stick with one or 2 at max.
Anyways with that said I was wondering if anyone has high hopes like I do for maximum toons slots per server to be increased to 48 with Going Rogue. And possibly them giving away 4 with Going Rogue. Kind of like what they did if you only had one of the games and bought the other before the merger.
I think another 12 slots for Champion would be just what I'm looking for. Definitely not going to buy toon slots on other server, but definitely would but Going Rogue and the other 8 if they happened to do this.
So, what are your thoughts on an increase from 36 to 48? Yes? No? Maybe? So?
