So what's your drink of choice?

Coke Zero or Diet Mt. Dew.

Tea. Either unsweetened iced tea or hot tea. I usually have teabags for about 6 different styles of tea on hand.

Typically, gingerale mixed with fruit juice from concentrate (orange, grape, or Fruitopia Strawberry Passion Awareness. Dunno what hellhole you live in, PK, but here in the real world (aka 'Canada' ), Fruitopia is still going strong- to the point that I just kind of stared at your post in incomprehension for a while)

QFT!

I have 1 empty Fruitopia Fruit Integration and 1 Strawberry Passion Awareness 2L right here...

I drink many kind of fruits mixes, like Tropicana or Oasis.

I also drink ice tea, I just love the Arizona Ice Tea. They have them huge cans for 99 cents and now that I looked for their website, I saw new flavors... Gah must find them!

I also drink soda, Coke or Pepsi most of the time.

Just goes to show -

See, where *I* live (central Ohio in Buckeye-land), you can find 20 different flavors of Arizona Ice Tea and its competitors in every "stop & rob" convenience store. But it's daggone difficult to find anything much non-caffeinated like Fruitopia - typically, you can only find Sprite or something like that.

Decaffeinated tea? Would you like some deoxygenated air to go with that?

Diet Pepsi or Diet Coke. Diet Pepsi by about 3:1 though. Occsionally I'll go with Diet Mt. Dew if I am getting weary of colas. Sometimes water, but only if I'm really dehydrated for some reason.

Mt. Dew Throwback, when I can get it. Otherwise regular Mt. Dew or water.

Tried that new blue Dew, didn't like it.

Usually Mountain Dew or Full Throttle, occasionally Dew Amp.

If I'm trying to unwind after a long day I'll have a mixed drink I created myself. I'll share it with you.

Blue Tarantula tequila (it's a citrus flavored one), Blue Hawaiian margarita mix, and Full Throttle Blue Demon (it's blue agave cactus flavored, which is what clear tequilas are made with) Mix equal parts in a rock glass and add just a splash of lemon juice. It's an awesome drink that, because of it's sweetness, hits you a lot harder than you think it is. I'll also add a splash of Mtn Dew Voltage if I have any on hand.

I usually have XXX Vitamin Water. It's yummy.

Corona or a mixed drink. Maybe somethin with tequilla or vodka. Long Island Iced tea would be my perferred drink, but can't seem to maintain all the ingrediants inthe house. Sometimes I think burglers come into my house and take my liqor. Punk kids probably. Cause ther is no way that I drink all that I buy. I'm not an alcoholic. Stop assuming that I am. You don't know me. It's those kids tkaing my stuff. I can change my locks but I wouldn't have enough money to buy...uh food and stuff.

For me, it's usually either Diet Green Tea(preferably a Lipton brand) or any flavor of Diet Dr. Pepper...if I know ahead of time it's gonna be a long night of face-kicking, then Code Red Mtn. Dew gets the call....

Decaf, lightly sweetened iced tea. Sometimes a glass of ... oh... no alchoholic beverages

When I need caffiene it's coffee or various hot teas. Fridays are sort of LAN party/game night at my house when the Coca-Cola and Dr. Pepper flow freely while we all hunch over our computers and defeat bad guys while talking too loudly.

<QR>

So here's my personal story:

Last year, I was working on a very stressful project for a very stressful client, spending half a month here and half a month there on the job site. This gave me a bout of acid reflux. Besides putting me on meds, my doctor at the time said that [u]I had to give up caffeine[u].

This actually ended up being a great thing for me. For years I had been a big fan of Mt. Dew, but at the cost of my teeth. Mind you, My teeth aren't horrible, but years of drinking the sugary, acidic beverage caused me no end of fillings, inlays, and in a couple of teeth, crowns and root canals. And coffee was giving me jitters and staining my teeth. So if giving up caffeine meant improving my health, in more than one way, so be it.

I like water, but I still like beverages with flavor. I've rediscovered Tang. Yes, Tang. The low-sugar variety, of course, where they use half sugar and half Splenda. I also like to brew ice tea - a little caffeine, but definitely not as much as coffee or Dew. Moderation and all that.

Speaking of brewing, I brew beer on occasion. I've done so in the past in large quantities with friends, but in my apartment I don't have room for 10 gallon carboys. But thanks to my mom-in-law, I have a Mr. Beer kit, which works out pretty well. When I don't have any home brew, I prefer Russian Imperial Stout (BJ's Tatonka or Old Rasputin), Old Viscosity, or some Sam Adams when I can't get my specialty brews. Again, moderation, etc.

I also love Jaegermeister. I know, I'm odd.

On occasion, I make a wicked alcoholic beverage know as the Red Death. It contains seven different liquors and is usually served in a pint glass. However, I like to keep the recipe under my hat as much as possible.

Living in a tropical country, I have at my disposal lots of exotic fruits at dirt-cheap prices. So, I blend a different fruit mix every day.

Some are crap, most are great =)

Whiskey, Guiness, Water or Crystal Light Ice Tea. Separately of course...and yes I have tried them in different combinations. :/

AM: Coffee

PM: Ginger Ale

Weekends:Alaskan Amber Ale, or Bass Ale, or Sierra Nevada.

Pepsi Max, or Mountain Dew: Code Red.

I like the more gimmicky stuff than the actual stuff, for some reason.

Coca-Cola. I love it and will never switch.

But I love to experiment with other "cola" flavored colas. I love Red Rock Cola, distributed from Atlanta. I'm drinking a Pepsi Throwback right now. Jones makes a regular cola that is okay. I even drink an occasional RC. But Coke is my one true love - I wonder why I even stray.

I'm such a square. I drink ice cold water, and if I'm having something sweet I like to wash it down with a glass of chocolate soy milk.

I gave up carbonated beverages and caffeinated beverages years ago, except for the rare root beer or orange soda as a treat, and I might have something alcoholic once a month.

...I forgot what experience means.
