Done. I doubt it's coming for another month, though. Then again, I haven't really fiddled with Beta much. There's a reason I'm glad I'm not chosen for Closed Beta tests

They skipped closed beta and went to open beta as a way to make everyone feel included, and because there wasn't sweet **** all to test.

They didn't skip closed beta, they just opened it up to everyone. The content that is up is still in the same unfinished, unpolished state that it would be in if the beta were closed.

When you say "the only issue", you actually mean "the second issue", right?

i dont think anyone can call this an issue but the devs ...its clear this is because of c.o. and nothing more...too bad its wasted since the launch date for c.o. was pushed back

only 2 tf's doesnt make it an issue for me..and its clear this is NOT an issue but an update called an issue to put one out on jack

this isssue isnt for us...if you think it was your wrong. this is an issue for the competiton

oh and issue 14 was actually issue 13( since they couldnt do it right the first time and pushed back the issue )..so nice try that it was it was full of phail...so far nothing new has been done this entire year but 2 tf's..great j0ob!

whoops sorry 2 tf's and alienating half the community with nerfs to please the fan bois standing in atlas and farming tf's instead of mishes...cant forget that

I think the size of i15 has less to do with CO and more to do with being sandwiched between i14 and Going Rogue.

I doubt Going Rogue is coming out this year. Almost half the year is over and we haven't gotten more than a teaser and a vary small amount of info that tells us what is going to be in it.

I'd be surprised if Going Rogue comes out this year too, although putting a new box on the shelves prior to the holidays would be a huge boon IMO.

Makes no difference. I'm not a good person to play to test.

[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, I'm expecting it this holiday season, sometime between Black Friday and Christmas.

Except if it's open to everyone then it's not a closed Beta, it is, by definition, an open beta. So they skipped the closed beta.

I think the devs called it a closed beta that all subscribers can get into to get across the point that in the development cycle, what's on Test looks like what you normally see in closed beta, which is a lot more unfinished than the way it looks in open beta. As it is, half the issue are the new TF and SF and both have a major bug which prevents even completing the Forces, which is par for the course in closed beta. Things like that get fixed before open beta.

They perhaps should have called it open alpha.

And there's also BABs comment when people were complaining about the bugs on test early on - "Welcome to closed beta." (Think it was BaBs.)

I think the phrase he used was "first wave beta" but the point stands. People who have never been in an early closed beta wave before don't realize how unfinished the Issues are for the first few patches after beta starts.

...I forgot what experience means.
