Quote:No, on my brute I get 11.28 from the Performance Shifter proc. You can check what it's giving you from healing, heal others in the tabs.I'm pretty sure it only bases it's 10% off of your base endurance, which is always 100. Enhanced endurance doesn't factor in AFAIK.
It is 10% of your total Endurance. So if you have 125 max end, you'll be getting 12.5 each time it procs. -
Here's my take on a KM/WP Scrapper for you. Twice the regen, more defence, not as quick to strike, but should last longer in extended battles.

Quote:It doesn't work like that, you activate the power, then every attack that you hit with after that stacks the buff. (It would be impossible to get enough recharge on that power to stack it 5 times since it only lasts 20 seconds)
Tried Kin Melee, impressive, yet also problematic. (I am spoiled) The buff is only for 20 seconds (but you can stack it 5 times!) To my way of math that is all you are doing the entire game, even with enough rech to get 5 going. buff, buff, buff, buff, buff, wait the 1st one is wearing off, buff, buff, .....
On topic, I have a SS/INV brute that I've been playing for roughly 5 years, still my favorite character to play.
Like many people have said, it's not really what sets you use, it's how you play with them. People constantly tell me INV is one of the weaker sets for a brute, but yet, when they see the character in action, they're often baffled at to what he can accomplish. I can't explain it, but once you get in synch with a toon, you can make it do things other said you couldn't.
My two Inf anyway. -
A week ago my main was at 450 odd badges, as of today he is at 652. Kinda proud of near 200 badges in a week.
Thanks to all those who keep helping me out with them too. -
Heheh, no, we didn't meet in Pocket D. Hmm, just realised how people might take that if we did.
-
I would like to thank the game of City of Heroes, not only for the years of fun playing the game, but for all the friends I've made over the past 5-6 years.
But the main reason for writing this, is that on the 10th of April, I was married to my one true love, who I never would have met if it wasn't for this game.
That's right, we met playing City of Heroes a couple of years back, played together more and more often, started chatting outside of game more and more often, and as you would expect, fell in love despite the great distance we had.
So we would like to thank the game of City of Heroes, for bringing us together, for we never would have met over the 15,000km distance that was between us.
We're keeping this post short, as there would be lots to tell about us and how this game brought us together, but we both think you all get the point.
(Side note, we met playing on Virtue, you may know us as Bench, Yu-Fei, Electroscopic, Bio-Kat, Holocaust Inferno, Silence Unheard etc.)
Now go, eat steak, and be strong like Bench. -

Extreme Clipping? Can't say I've ever noticed it. But hey, whatever. If they say it's an issue, it must be.
-
Nah, that's the thing, the second I click on that costume, the wings disappear, without me clicking anything once on the tailor screen.
-
More specifically, power customisation being tied to the tailor.
While I'm very anxious to play around with it, my concern lies in one of the costumes for one of my toons.
You see, if I ever go to edit this costume, I'll lose either the wings or the Magic Bolero, since they "Fixed" it.
Please lets us edit powers separate from our costumes, so I can keep this one, and still change her powers. Or at least consider it. As I know there are people still with some of the original faces that are no longer in the game. -

I'm curious as to what it would take to upset people when it comes to the boosters. Would you still be fine with it no matter what was put in them?
[/ QUOTE ]
Provided that the packs are good value for money and that we still get lots of free stuff I'm happy for their existence. The Wedding Pack was a poor value pack, Booster I and II were good. Not bought them, but I'm fine with them doing stuff like this.
Having said this, this one annoys me because it's the science booster pack, but the big feature isn't really science-related, it's just a feature that people have wanted for a long time. In a way this makes me think it's less of a value for money pack than the previous two, since people who want a science booster get the booster and a size changer they may not really want, and vice versa. I just wish they had put together a really good pack of SCIENCE, especially since we may not get another booster in this area.

So you're saying science has nothing to do with altering DNA, Transgendering, and all around molecular restructuring?
To me, that's a bucket load of science right there.

Personally, I want new content from 1-50. I've done it so many times red and blue side, I'm hoping that Going Rouge will do this, a lot of people who have played the game for years (Mainly going off of friends opinions in game) are tired of the same old maps and scenery.
The past few issues haven't really given me much (MA, Day Jobs etc etc don't really add anything to the game that I find useful.), so here's to hoping that Going Rouge is going to be massive. And I don't mean 1 zone with a few contacts, I mean an entire set of zones like CoV gave us. The game desperately needs it. -

Done. I doubt it's coming for another month, though. Then again, I haven't really fiddled with Beta much. There's a reason I'm glad I'm not chosen for Closed Beta tests

This beta was open to everyone.... -
Holy patuli! 1 hour! Damn, I thought my friend was fast at 2 hours 45 minutes.

Great to see that after a year, this thread is still going. All my best to you and yours, this by far the best story of what a game can be to people.
*never gonna let this thread die* -
I say no to new zones for CoV. Why? Because in heroes I never touch half the zones there, I find them pointless. The only time I go to them is to get badges.
For heroes the normal line up for me is:
Atlas (More specifically the sewers)
Kings Row
Steel Canyon
Talos Island
Flounders Falls
Peregrine Island.
I never touch the other zones. I see no point to them. Sure there are contacts there that I could do in those places, but hero side contacts I just find incredibly boring. (Hence I don't even do contacts hero side. Just Radio Mishes)
Villains is great with zones. I hit each zone and do most of the contacts each time due to the fact I find them more interesting and the missions are quite fun, compared to that of the facless contacts you get in heroes. (Just the way I feel on this, not a fact.)
Instead of more zones for Villains. We just need more contacts/story arcs, that have been the reason why I prefer Villains. (Side note, I prefer Villains for the story, yet prefer Heroes for teaming.)
And no more co-op zones. Two of them should be enough, since I barley see anyone in the Rikti warzone as it is. The populations are to thinly spread as it is for more zones. If they keep adding more, they should at least remove a couple of servers so you don't feel so alone in an MMO. (Yes, I live in a different time zone to the US, so during my peak play times the most people ever on are about 200 or so, and across all the zones Heroes has, it feels like City of Emptiness)
I probably got way off topic in all this, but my vote is for no new Villain zones, yes to more content in the current zones. If the gaming population suddenly increases ten fold, then sure, another zone wouldn't hurt. Until then, I'm content with what I have. -
One thing I noticed about the new chat was that using ; before a text string, no longer makes the text italic.
Wondering if this has been mentioned or noted elsewhere, as it looks silly now for those of us who use it in our RP.
