todays 1 and 1/2 hour was uber fun, especially the parts:

[paraphrase] "WTH?! The AVs are here, but we're still fighting the computer, wait!"

and my already favorite:
[exact question] "Wait, who takes the healer nictus?"
[exact response] "Bah. Ignore it. dogpile romy!"

Never, ever start an ITF with more than two sidekicks.

1 was sk the others were exmped

ITF I was on last night had 4 SKs. We finished in 1:39. I had a blast.

I've been on ITFs with 0 SKs that fell apart.

It's not the lackeys. It's the team makeup. Some teams are just doomed to fail no matter what.

[/ QUOTE ]
Exactly... I came back to CoH after the reactivation weekend, and my first ITF ever was with my Rad/Cold Corruptor getting lackeyed up with two other SKs. We blasted through it, and we just dogpiled Romulus at the end (to my chagrin... I figured those things MUST'VE been important... sure didn't seem like it until he used Strygian Return 5 times...). Finished in 1:30.

I can never get an ITF started that lasts. The team I had quite AT Romulus pt 2. SOOO PISSED.

Sidebar: how do you get the team mates names different colors?!

[/ QUOTE ]
Different color names? Its under options, scroll down and look near the other chat related options on the first tab. I can't do without it anymore, makes it easier to differentiate names at a glance.

I honestly can't remember the fastest ITF I was on. I think I noticed a 57 minute one, though. The one that felt like the fastest one was one of the first ones I did when the issue first went live. It was like.. 6 scrappers/brutes and two healers without debuffs. Being a brute on a mayhem mission is fun, but nothing felt as epic as beating down Nictus Rommie through sheer damage.

SK'ed my Grav/Kin into an ITF earlier this month. They were going for speed as it was (which was fine, I was at work and the faster we did it, the less likely I was to have gotten interrupted).

We blew through in 39 minutes and change. Fastest I've ever done.

Fastest I've been on was 27 minutes.

But I've seen a screenshot of someone doing it in 24 minutes.

Anything under 90 minutes is ok, under an hour is good, under 30 minutes is AWESOME.

Me too! It felt so epic.

did it w/ 4 sidekicks, 2 brutes, 1 tank, and a assortment of buffs/debuffs

we waited 20 minutes for someone to come back because their internet crashed, even wiped a couple times in the second mission, and barely ticked over a hour

Though I think the most fun ITF I did was one that consisted of three stormies and two kins

Personally, I like running them in about 45 minutes to an hour. The Speed ITFs are fine, but I don't like feeling rushed when I'm playing. If I'm running it with my main scrapper I prefer to be able to take time to flip out and kill things just because.

I'm just not in that big of a hurry most of the time.

However, I was on a full team that did Posi and Synapse back to back in just over 4 hours. That was fun.

Most of the ones I've been on prior have been 60-90 minutes.

For me, 39 minutes was pretty freakin' awesome.

Because those are the exact things that happen on a Smurphy ITF, except it's more "Oh, hey computer's down!" *team teleport* "Hi there, Rommie and Requiem!"

My longest ITF, 9+ hours.

Finished with 2 ILL/RAD (a lvl 50, and me sk'ed) and 2 Tankers (WP/? or INV/? lvl 50, with a sk'ed Ice/?)

It's been awhile sinse that one.

My fastest, 1:14 I believe it was.

My most fun...happened recently with my Cold/Ice Defender...last mission, we didn't clear the platform, we just rushed Rom THAT WAS FUN! And we beat him Think that TF clocked in around 1:25.

It was a PuG too.

I average about 2-3 hours for an ITF. I like to take my time and clear everything. Plus, it's good for first-timers to appreciate the whole thing. Speed ITFs are like microwaving a PopTart.

Following on a previous post... just did 24.05 LGTF recently, even got a screenie off it but damned if I know off hand how to make it accessable. Maybe in a few weeks I'll go looking for the LGTF time postings and add it there. The ITF we did just before it was only about 32 min...

It's nice to know the quitters aren't just on the EU server and you guys have the same trouble we do!

Slowest was about 2 hours 30 minutes. Fastest has been about 50 minutes I believe, but a lot of the time we have to go with what we can get! been on a few that have failed as well, although mainly due to Rommy getting out of LoS of the Nictus to rez. Been on a few absolute steamrollers as well, those are fun!

It's in the Options menu, under Chat or Miscellaneous, and it's called, I think, "Individual Name colors" with the option to enable or disable them.
You can't actually choose your color though - it's random, as far as I know - although I've been told it gives you your color by making some sort of calculation about what letters are in your name, but I don't know if that's true or not.

Longest ITF I've been on was about 3 hours, and that's coz I was filming it during closed beta and kept going back to get other shots and look at things and make people pose and look cool.

On average, 1-2 hours.

I don't know. . .group of defenders/corrupters could probably get through just as fast. Go go buffs!

It really is fun doing it with rookies. I was trying to co-ordinate ahead of time with the teammate who had done it once before so I typed in team chat "How do we want to handle the..." and then sent him a tell "giant robots" so I wouldn't spoil it for the new guys. Seconds later the team hits the corner and they're all "whoa" and such. Pretty much made the glacial pace worth it.
5 hours on an ITF??? Me and my best friend duo'd it in 6 hours on a stoney and bot/dark mm

The longest TF (of any kind) that I have ever been on will come as no surprise. It was.... wait for it....you know it's coming.... you already know I'm gonna say....Positron.

The final time came in at just over 18 hours. Yes, you heard me correctly...EIGHTEEN hours.

I think I have run that TF one other time in the entire time I have been playing the game, and that was just because I wanted the bonus for Task Force Commander. It has to be the most agonizing TF in the game. Maybe it's because it is 2/3 Kill All missions. Maybe it's because of the lack of good strong powers at that level. I dunno, but I always dread that TF.
