My biggest gripe with this game is not being able to team. I already gave up on being asked to join a team, but I can send out 20 tells '20-24 mission team in Talos, interested?' and only get one tell back. Make my own team? How then, when no one wants to respond? How then, when someone dies they quit without a word? How then, when someone sees there aren't enough people on the team they say 'It's ok, I'll just solo for awhile'? How then, when someone only plays for one mission?
I think it's snobbery. 'I don't do pugs' they say, with their noses up turned. They play with their select few in their own secret circle.

You're experience is not everyones, whether you're exaggerating or not. Keep defending by lashing out, it gives you more credit.
It seems before the x2 xp weekend teams were dime a dozen. I was even exemping on pugs, just because. During the weekend I saw a slight increase in teams, but after wards it was a desolate waste land. 'They wore themselves out over the weekend' was the excuse.
Ever since then it seems to be slow. And now with the MA? It seems farms or nothing.
I don't pay to play alone. Oh, that's right, we need to try harder.

Have you thought about joining an SG? You can check the Server forums to find one on your server of choice and look around for one you like, then team with your SGmates. Problem solved.

And yes, that was sarcasm. Once again, what is claimed on these forums and what goes on in the actual game bear little to no resemblance to each other. If they DID, everyone I saw without Fitness in-game wouldn't 1. have 2 ticks of END left at all times and 2. be continually begging for spare blues.
Next: Forumistas claim that their Dark/dark Brutes and Scrappers NEVER need Fitness and HAVE NEVER NEEDED IT. If yours do, UR DOIN IT WRONG. Once again..... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiight, I believe that. I sure do! You bet.
p.s. to Ares: I agree that an Ice/psi Dom is an unpleasant creature indeed; mine made it to level 18 and then was deleted in a fit of rage, mid-mission. Logged off in the middle of a mission and nuked her right then and there! that was how fun she was to play. WORST EVER

I've found that that's pretty much how *most* of the "veteran" posters run business around here. They *may* have a bit of something "constructive" in their answers to you "n00bs" (if they feel like it that day), but it's wrapped in so much flaming [censored] that you can't tell what was actually helpful about the post.

As to the OP, I'm on Freedom as often as I can be when I'm not working... Usually on my Khelds (AlienOne and VestigeOne), so look me up sometime... If I'm not doing a TF at the time, I'll be more than happy to team with 'ya. In fact, I actually enjoy exemping down, so I'd have no problem teaming with you on a few missions....

Loads of new players and old faces are coming back (even more when rogue appears), pvp is actually on the rise again (admit its mostly arena at the moment but is on the rise), people are starting to get the fun/random factor back so yeah the game is NOT dying!!!!!!

To all of you saying "there are specifically x amount of people lft right now, try harder" I have been leading teams since I first started playing 17 or so months ago and I know how it works. Just because someone says "lft" in their status or w/e it doesnt mean they are lft just simply send tells and you will realize that only about 10% of those tells are returned which is complete BS. I always respond to every single tell i get, come on ppl! it takes 3 godamned seconds.Go ahead! Please keep posting numbers out of the air, this doesn't change the fact that it is substantially harder for me to find a team now than it was 4 or so months ago.

I was *on freedom seeing who was available.* Didn't even mention, for example, the seven people who broadcast that THEY were LFT from the time it took me to SJ from the Arbiter to the BB entrance for the liason mission and back. *One* of those may have been too high for you, but they can also mal down.

Agreed.
However, my personal experience tend to show here it's not really a large number of people but a small number of the very same players posting a lot.
Random anecdotal evidence : I never look at post counts, but looking at it I've noticed all the folks on my ignore list have over one thousand posts, and most of them are well over that.
I've got about... 15-20 people on ignore, yet there's some threads where it's literally filled with ** you are ignoring this poster **.
(Cue in people who interpret this as me saying "people with many posts are all trolls!")

I'm on Pinnacle and any given night my Vg could run 3 seperate itf's at the same time at 4pm or 6am. Sounds like your previous life as the leader of a OMGLETSFARM SG on the busiest server isn't cutting it. There are plenty of teams and people who team on all the servers, all the time. Maybe you need to re-examine your team-building methods a bit.

I was on last night for a little bit (Freedom), and I did notice that AE chatter seemed to be very light. I went to Atlas Park and pay my SG rent and saw that all of the AE team seekers were gravitating there. The place was packed. There was a lot of variety in what people where looking for. There were farm requests, arc requests, requests for any kind of mission, teams looking for all kinds of members. AE was hopping. For kicks, I followed some new characters around in the sewers for a bit healing them, rezzing them, and debuffing enemies. I then got an invite for a farming team and gave it a run, having fun until the team broke up.
Because AE is in a lot of the zones, it's worthwhile to check out zones that you normally wouldn't try. AP seems to be hopping if you want to run AE missions. Also, don't forget to join global channels for task forces and such, as there was quite a few of those forming.
