WOW!! very nice when I first logged on i thought i was at the wrong place
The new website is no longer freezing up IE6 for me. Whoo-hoo!
The page looks nice overall, but with the new layout I need to scroll left and right to see everything. Nice, but overall the old site was more fluid to navigate.
Very sharp and modern look for the homepage. Great work everyone.

This new look is great. I am not sure what some folks were talking about with not being able to find anything...I found everything quite easily.
And I am not the sharpest spoon in the happy meal.

And if Squez is still reading this thread, I too hate tabbed browsing. Firefox has options that allow you to completely remove tabs. You do have to change 3 or 4 different options, but it's possible.

Ugh, thanks, Lav. I do my monthly-or-so vanity search and find myself back here.
What can I say? I'm an Alt-Tab guy, and I need lots and lots o' things on my task bar to Alt-Tab to.
And for fun, I launched my 1998 copy of Lynx (!) and tried to open the site. I get a "Can't launch temporary file!" error. I hope tech support gets right on that one.

I'm such a nerd I ignore the look and feel and immediately look under the hood. Kudos on discovering jQuery - it makes some of the new site features look very slick.

Overall I think the new site is very nice. Definitely going to miss the red side though. As mainly a villain player I find it uncomfortable seeing "City of Heroes" plastered at the top of the page.
Probably a good move, but will still take a while to get used to the whole thing being called City of Heroes.
If you don't like something change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it.

Seriously though - whoever did this never looked at it at 1024x788 resolution, or else he REALLY needs to get his glasses checked.
Personally, I don't like it. HUGE pictures, little tiny text.

yes i do use MoZilla as well as IE6. By default when you click on hyperlinks in the updater, it uses IE by default. My pointing out the forgotten code did indeed usher the correction of the code in the page, Much to the fanboy dissmay.
Not sure if anyone else noticed, but the epic archetypes aren't there for the hero/villain archetype sections.
I accidentally posted a Thread on this in the Player Questions Section of the Forums by accident, but I do, indeed, love the new look to the CoH/CoV Websites!

When you revamped the website the player created videos you used to have up from the competitions you held a few years ago were removed. Think you'll ever get those back up and running? Was trying to show a friend and once the update went up page not available pops up when I tried to navigate to them.

Quick bug note.
All of the Veteran Award links (Details) from the accounts website are now bad.
Interesting point, it looks like there are some insomniacs working on the site. 9 am local time (5 am est) I took a look at the site in IE6 and it had the usual web2.0 transparensy issues, I just looked back at 11 am (7 EST) and they are all fixed.
