Not really tipsy. Matt "Positron" Miller was giving he talk during the HeroCon Banquet. He didn't know he was goingt talk about. But he talked about all of the stuff coming next year which will blow our minds. But he couldn't tell us due to the coming competition. So he told Nieve to call Ops and for them turn on the Zombie Apocalypse event now. (Well atapprox. 8:20 PDT approx.)

I suspect that there will be people logging in Monday expecting the event to start then.


If the large crowds are making your graphics card cry, find a smaller crowd elsewhere. It should only take about 10 people to get an elite boss to spawn... you don't need 50.

There's been a few Eochai in Bricks on Guardian, no zombie apocalypse, and now that you mention it, 2 hours of ToT and not a one ghost spawn trick.

There's one in almost every zone. As soon as you kill it, a new one spawn within 2 minutes. One out of ten time, Jack will spawn instead. All the Unseelie Ghosts will be with Jack or Eochai (unless someone kills them for the badge and leaves the GMs).

It's less than two minutes. I've verified the respawn is immediate.

I'm loving everything about this event except that the new ToT timers allow griefers on Invincible to click multiple doors quickly and then tow giant crowds of 52s and 53s through everyone else trying to ToT.

I was getting mostly tricks, after I scored 6 costume salvage and 17 costume powers. Oh, and lots of baby inspirations. But after a while, all I was getting were tricks.

A couple things:

-I would click a door and it would both Trick AND Treat me...get a costume/inspir and also a spawn of enemies...kind of strange.

-Only getting tier 1 inspirs for treats. The big draw for me in the past to do this was the great inspiration drops that I could help my SG with in the bins.

Now it's just kinda like, oh zombie event..done that, badges meh, costumes cool got em all....oh well i'm done.
I used to trick or treat for hours just to fill up my inspir bins =)

did the devs listen to any input about griefing? obviously not. Pi was hell on a level 41 and there is no where else to go.

Confirmed, 8 man team spawns a EB, we had the most fun in this event so far with 8 people in Dark Astoria in one of the graveyards.

It was a definite blast. So really you don't need to bunch up to do this, just get a team, find a cool spot and aim for the head!

Hint:

Use Ouroboros to EX down to a lower level and use another zone. Or find a lower level friend and ex down to their level, use another zone.

Villain side I prefer to use St. Martial inside of the Giza myself. You can also use the RWZ for higher levels.

No frickin' kidding. What a load of hooey . I13 and i14 were supposed to be huge and they're so NOT huge. Give me a break. Before I was content to stay here and ignore the competition. The survey list was awesome. Looks like all we're getting for a while is the MA. Looks cool (depends on how it works) but where's the rest? I thought I'd stay loyal to this game but it has become kinda dull and I am pretty sure I will be checking out the competition - kinda sick of the, "So much awesome stuff but we can't tell you!" stuff. You disclosed the survey list so why not give us an idea of what's coming?

Ah well. The zombie event is a nice change of pace.

Zombie invasion part is great!

The trick or treating is a big let down.

Lack of tier 3 inspirations however, is very disappointing. stocking up on some tier 3s for my supergroup was my favorite part of the event last year.
