Awesome QoL bonus.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. What's in the "Greek" costume set? I thought some of that stuff could only be unlocked via the Valentine's Day event or has that now changed?

Wow. Character generation for those obsessed with the statistics, but completely lazy about costume design. It's like the WIN.

Fixed.

The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.

Which is not really like Greek.

It's like comparing Apples and Oranges.

They're both fundamentally the same but is completely different.

Brainfart. I thought it said Greek in there too.

You may shoot me now.

Unless there is a new Greek set too, in which case, not a brainfart.

That's Roman though which is listed below the Greek (and Pirate) set.

So you say the numbers are available, but optional?
And that we will be able to choose costumes by set?

I am intrigued and pleased.

No Doom present. Carry on.

Is it possible that the new "Costume Set" category could take away from the individuality or creativity of the costume creator? Yes it may be easy sometimes when you don't need to look through every list of costume pieces, but wont everyone eventually just ignore the custom costume option and just pick the pre-made costumes?

I still think its a great QoL feature though

Cool, this will put a lot of strange power myths to rest.

I suspect Greek is for those who have unlocked the Valentine costumes and want to have a quick change at the tailor. Same for Roman (for I12 unlockables).

Been to Mercy lately? 50% of them are just flat tights with random hair, eye, and costume colors. At least this gives them incentive to not look quite as hideous and unoriginal :P

And I don't usually say that.

But for sure this will satiate the appetites of those who ravenously tear at the soft tissues of....Man that's slick! I spent an entire 6 hours online before ever playing CoH simply tooling about in the creator and finding unique and interesting combinations. While this feature will be heavily tested by me, and a boon to...*ahem* those of less than creative inclination (You know the ones, those that make you wish a 400lb. beast of a man would bludgeon you with a 2x4 till your retinas detached.), I am more interested in seeing what they have done to my power trays. I always felt that a bit more malleability in manipulating and organizing my display, aside from color and opacity, would put more of a unique face onto each of my extra personaliti...Avatars

I kind of feel like we're venturing into finding out who the "man behnd the curtain" is, so to speak.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing. The gentleman you're alluding to, being an older gentleman from Omaha, did manage to leave Oz and return, and eventually became a rather capable student of Glinda.

Most people don't know that, nor do they need to. However, if one digs a bit through Baum's books, interesting details and stories like that emerge.

Similarly, if people want to simply Slice something, they can. If they choose to dig deeper, they can, and they might discover more interesting things to boot (though perhaps not about Slice...)

I see typos!

Inscect should be Insect

Also reptillian should be reptilian

One minor suggestion that I've had for a while? Can we have a few animation cycles we can put the characters in? Jumping, say, and maybe jumping jacks? Just so we can check for gapping and hair clipping.

Hm. I guess the kata loop animation would be good. And the Monkey Dance to test armpits. (Suits and so on)

Looks great!

Thumbs up for all the hard work on this. It was *well* worth it!

Finally, a reason for fashionably-challenged players to look halfway decent. Sure, they'll all look the same (just with different color combos), but at least it's a step in the right direction. Next step for Issue 13, removal of the "random button".

What I'm curious about is groups such as the "Robot" one. The Robot group only has gloves and boots in the set. Are the devs porting in different body groups from the Mastermind robots set to player toons? Very-very doubtful, but it would be welcomed. None of the robot toons I've seen look very much like robots...
