I was wondering. Could we get a clarification as to the 4 year thingie that made this shift happen.

any clue on the rikti home world is. can we get a server to it. a nice spin off of city heors and villianes. with new alien and robotic coustum and tooles. beat the rikti and get back home.

The announcement doesn't mention specific times this is going on (ex: it's 10:30am CT on 4/21, I've been ingame for an hour, and there hasn't been a single raid yet). Is this a "prime time" only event?

No, it happens randomly throughout the day. They tend to come in bursts, then have a lull period for a couple hours.

These are still fun, but they need a teeny bit of variety, and the easiest change I can think of would be a badge for 10 Drop Ships.
Yes, I know, this means that non-flyers would not get to participate, or could only do so in a limited fashion.
Guess what? My major characters DO NOT HAVE FLY, so this does NOTHING for me, but I would STILL make every effort to take part with super-jumps, rocket packs, team buffs, even the loathesome Group Fly just to do this Super Cool Thing.
encourage us to attack the Drop Ships as if they were Giant Necxt round of Rikti invasions, let us get a badge for taking out Drop Ships.

I now hate the rikti. We had a perfect master of statesman task force run, except that in transit to the mission in Peregrine, a rikti dropship zapped 2 of our teammates.

Not that ugly if you consider that the Peregrine mission is only the second mission. If he got zapped buying purples during the Recluse stage of the last mission, that would be ugly.

Game runs fine for me most of the time, but as soon as the Rikti pop in, everything jumps around like a bad J-Horror film. Sometimes I don't mind fighting them, but half the time I just wish they'd bugger off so I could get something *done.* God forbid you walk out of a mission site and get vaporized on the spot...seems to happen to me more often than I'm inclined to admit.

I spent most the day playing on Virtue, checking out the new Katana cast times. This Katana/WP is a new character and I REALLY want to get the Rikit sword for him, so my main objective was to take part in Rikti Raid teams. What I noticed was there were waaaay more raids in CoV than CoH. Roughly 10 to 1. I played 5-6 hours today and was only able to get in on 1 1/2 raids blueside. What's up?

Ok, I've been on this morning for 20 minutes. So far there has been 4 raids. Port Oaks, St.Martial, Grandville, and Sharkhead. NONE blueside! Seriously WTH is going on?

Mods: you may want to fix the original post. It claims the Rikti announcements are on the "Event Channel". The closest thing to that is the category "Evenr Messages," which is incorrect. It is actually only on the "Hero Zone Event Messages" channel.

Also, there was some change since the last Rikti invasion (issue 12?) that changed the channel these appear on from one of the default channels to this one, vausing all my toons to no longer receive these messages. So everyone will be looking to threads like this one to tell them where to find the messages, and they will be misled as I was.

Yeah, well I created a tab for the Hero Zone Event Messages last night too and not a single announcement popped up on mine.

Devs: Please switch the announcements back to the Global Channel for the next invasion. Since that seemed to work perfectly well, I'm not sure why something that wasn't "broken" was "fixed" at all.

If you edit your chat windows there is already an existing Hero Zone event and a Villain Zone event to selct. My scrapper for some reason started out with Villain Zone event by default. I was seeing only CoV invasions while playijg CoH. Once I figured it out everything is cool now.
