Cox is awesome with the zones that we have. A few "unused zones" on heroes, and a few zones still desired on the red side. All in all the dev team dealing with the zone creation does a marvelous job!

The new "GR" experience will bring us new zones for that aspect of the game. But after that, lets say this time next year, what about portals that take our characters all over the world. Where the gamers/customers can get a touch of some other geography through zone additions or story arcs.

If we read the history of Paragon City and Rogue Isles, we read about battles between supers from different countries over 50 years ago. So I'm thinking, what about story content that takes us to different parts of the planet. Almost like Chimora and how it puts us in like a Greece or Italy area.

Can there be an African or South American Jungle zone or story arc?
Eastern Asia zone or arc?
Dark Age zone or arc?


For the lack of zones on the red side, how about some kind of "fallout zone". A zone that Recluse has destroyed in a display of power.

An "ice zone" would be awesome as well. Can be a zone that recluse hasn't yet fully obtained yet. His rule isn't completely locked in in this zone and would have storyline material to relate to this.

A sand zone !! Controled by Scirroco! lol probably not .

I didn't think this ninja pack was bad at all. Actually was the first pack that made it to both of my accounts. In my opinion, the ninja run is singaly the best "power" attained in any of the packs. As previously mentioned, ninja run makes low level travel exceptable. In higher levels, if you have the ever popular super speed and can't jump over a wall or some obsticle, ninja run is there to pull you over, making it worth the "value meal" sacrifice.

Fortune is in second place as being the top powers of the booster packs... btw.

indeed. nice input. Shadow shard pack? have to check that out. and really im a pvper so i wanna get to 50 as fast as possible so i can have all my slots so i can do the "real work" of setting my toon out to be efficient in pvp zones. getting a character to 50 is the easy part, so I don't like it taking too much of my time.

I must say that the new issue is full of interesting and very fun elements of game play. Spanning from color customization, to animation customization, to instant arena action, I'm liking the new changes overall. The quality of life is indeed better. Things like the little lvl in the corner, (only if your running solo) to the ability to set how many numbers my hero is "equal" to. I definitly love that! On top of all these beautiful things, accolades are allot less tedious to acquire.

But what about pling? I have my 36 month award and i have about 6 months in the past 4 years that I haven't played the game, so I would have more awards then that. I, among many others, DON'T WANT TO LEVEL A NEW TOON NORMALLY! I don't want to fight Frostfire, and spend time running slowly accross zones from hospital visits back to the missions when ss is hours away. AE, for the past 9 months, was a perfect tool to pl new characters. Now, ....sigh, nothing. The boosting your difficulty settings to equal to a higher number of people is only good solo. Unless you keep quitting team and mapping the zone.

What about a vet award or something? At a certain point in our playing history we should b able to "fast forward" through the lvling and get on with accolades and other things like character build. We have Mids. We don't have to wait to see our builds that we are intending on making. I might be beating a dead horse but I certainly don't believe that the efforts to curb pling are just. The argument that "noobs don't know how to use their toons" is beneath me. Or the "it messes up the economy", please, the devs do that. LoL I firmly believe that the devs keep drop rates low to make influ prices stay hi, then spam emails to sell us billions for our real money. I mean, its that or its some hackers, that out of all the games in the world, chose this game to hack for influ and sell it to the players whom the devs never catch cause they switch accounts?.............. yeah right ....but thats another thread.

Anyways, next patch or issue or whatever, lets make it easier to power level please. Vet award, whatever.

i have a fire fire blaster (draegoes). On the resistance side of his build, should i go with force or ice ? I pvp alot and I wanna make one of those blasters that can take some punishment without biting the dust off one assasin strike, or fall victim to the holds. It has to be a way. If not then a fire fire build is gimp and Ive wasted alot of time. It also would mean that there are inferior power combos that should be exposed to the community.
I made a build that was great against energy smashing lethal, but post i14, i've been fecal juice.

yeah i know it all ends with money ...... so i dont see it happening either but would still love to see it jump off. also, i think more than our community would watch it, and it would bring tons of players to the game i think. But production costs for a cartoon would hender its coming into reality. I agree.

But could they sell scripts and story plots? I think so.

Growing up in the 80's was awesome! We had G.I. Joe smashing Cobra, Sgt. Slaughter clothes lining 25 B.A.T.'s, Snake Eyes round housing Tomax's face into Zamont's head in the same big brawl fight sequence while Cobra Commander calls the infamous "RETREAT!" because hes lost, again. We got to decide if it was his poor leadership, or his 400 Cobra Trooprs and Vipers shooting and not hitting a single stationary target 10 yards in front of them!
There was of course, Transformers. Prime and Megachops duked it out while the same 12 characters foiled each others engeuinious schemes to gain supremacy and find the damn energon and get it on back to the crib. Uhh thats Cybertron. But the sound that they made when they transformed was soooo cool. It touched me and I one day will be a 77 year old man waiting for Transformers Two Hundred and Fourty Fifteenf sequal to come out in the movies, trien to live another week till it comes out. heh .....
Anyways we also had He-Man, Thundercats, Ninja Turtles, Spiderman & Friends, The Justice League, Mask, Silver Hawks, Marshal Bravestar, Dungeons & Dragons, Go Bots, Cops, Bionic 6, X - Men, Hulk, Mr. T, Space Ghost and it goes on and on.

Now its 2009. Might as well say 10, and we got this awesome game that we play. So in depth with a vast cast of characters and story lines that it be a definite success! Also the fact that there is already so so sososososososos much in depth back story that a cartoon is basicly just not on the board, but would have a plethera of options on storys and characters. Gangster, or comedy? Team features and cameos. From the A.E. to the Paragon History.

Ladies and gents of the forth coming wave of critiques, we would all have so much fun with with a project like that. I'm sure it would have problems and "ob'stackles" to climb. I just know it would be huge on the net.

thx on the input on the sets yall. I read through the powers thread but its so many topics ........ i just wanted some feedback on my ideas.

Alot of people in these forums are program savvy and I'm not. Alot of people understand about the technical side and I dont and i just wanted to understand a lil bit why some powers won't work on the game.

And like I said, I work 2 jobs and don't have alot of time to be flipping through so many pages of posts. Thats all. Im not trying to flood the forums with already dead topics. So I try to post close to the targeted areas if not in the right area.

Man!!! It gets ugly for people in these forums! I have been posting about different shhhhtuff in the "city life" and "suggestions" sections and they do more wagging of the accursed finger at where you put the post, then actually having credible responses to the subject matter. LMAO!!

But I do love it though. The exchange of ideas and sarcasm it all makes a thick sticky pot of yummy yum yum to me!

I'm making valid points for at least one side of some issues, and alot of people arent even thinking about them, instead focusing on redirecting to "official posts" . Who cares? Seeing as how there are only 24 hours in a day, I refuse to read through the hundreds of pages of ideas and suggestions to make sure my thoughts havent been previously stated. Thus, if you recognize any points of thought, feel free to turn the channel. ...

Red side:

Nightmare set: focused around fear powers. Im thinking fear and kin powers for movement debuffing and impact debuffing.

Goblins / Orks: for the mm AT. A similar design from the redcaps. I'm thinking knives and bows just like the redcaps except maybe throw in a spell caster in the bunch.

Blue Side:

Holograms: Scrapper set: Im thinking a scrapper can make more of himself and fight. (kinda like Naruto) Easily defeated holograms that look like the caster, and can do minor damage.

Growth set: Tanker set: Im thinking kinda like a regen set. Except you can grow to about as big as the cyclops in the ITF.

What about a mm for heroes. Like i mentioned in a different thread, an animal mm for heroes would be awesome. Make the quadruped skeletons, and get it in the game. It would be awesome! Other options could be police summoning. Drone summoning, even Longbow summoning.
of course water control.

Anyways, these are my thoughts. If any developers read this, why arent new powersets coming out all the time? It kinda makes these threads useless if none of our ideas gets concidered.

willpower , shields , dual blades lol none of these powers were player ideas........

When Architect was released, players ignored the Devs request, and made farms in droves. There has been no indication that Devs want to or are going to take them away from you anytime in the forseeable future.

In short, farmers are not the bad guys, and they never were. A bunch of them felt persecuted when they were asked to not make farms in the Architect, and then got up in arms when they persisted and were shown the door. When they got up in arms, they rallied the rest of their community and got aggressive, resulting in an agressive posture from everybody else.

Complete idiocy, perpetuated by a bunch of hysterical idiots out there who keep fanning the flames.

Point noted. Unfortunately, in Protector server forum, (my server) they chew and spit out farmers completely. Not just ae farmers. So, as I was redirected from that server to the "City life" forum, I am still ranting about problems that I see. They told me farmers mess up the economy. ECONOMY?! LoL we didnt even have an economy prior to i8. Remember when we were all paying 25 million for some wings? My whole point stands that if farming is such a bad thing, increase the drops like they did the wings and this will never be a issue again.
