Hey, art people.

I'm thinking of commissioning some artwork, but I like all of my characters to some degree. Which do you think is the best out of the bunch?

Toon Roster

Thanks!

Well, from an artist's point of view, I'd have to go with:

1. DeeJay
2. Great Briton
3. Deputy

All too good to choose really. You should go with your gut.

I love Comrade personally. Great Britain as well. Course..ive always wanted to make both a british and russian hero/villains, and they never turn out as good as those two.

After those two.. Keystone, Hordesman, and Blackguard are all sweet too.

Actually..not one of those characters look bad..but those are the ones that make me slap my head and say "GAH!..why didnt I do that?"

Comrade is by far the best. After that I'd say Blackguard and The Deputy.

Fairy tail isn't bad, I'm just starting to develop a psychotic reaction to purple butterfly wings.

I like Comrade and Great Briton the most.

A lot of cool stuff.

I like Geat Briton, Comrade, Manphibian, Hordesman and Uberman the most.

Your namesake kinda looks like Warface, another character with already a lot of art, I would not go for him.

I agree, with third place going to Cineplex.

I think Fairy Tale followed by DeeJay. I would pick Comrade only there is too much red somehow, or maybe the armor pieces you picked look weird when they arent two-tone (Justice is bad about that to me).

I like the Lightweight, Comrade & the Great Briton, though a lot of these are helped by the backgrounds you have them in... Bling Bling is fun, and the Deputy too, but I think this game is about to be flooded with jesters the way the fairy wings flooded it with fae folk.

For originality I like the Manphibian, and I wish we had a water zone for him, maybe in the future. The Keystone works great for the chest piece, and the Godsend is a friggin great name, wish I had thought of it.

Agreed. They are both the most iconic, and I think artists would have fun with them.

Comrade is a great design. It makes excellent use of the costume options.

Comrade ftw.

I'm still wondering how you got the name Keystone... Unless he's a character you've had since before the Hollows was put in...

Keystone
The Great Briton (This wins for the name)

I vote Comrade for same reasons.

Hey Blackguard (it's Ice Swan ). All great pieces by a dedicated costumer! While Great Briton is impressive, there can be only one choice - Bling Bling! Anything else is "just whack!" to quote the poet .

(actually I do mean it too - many of the others have extremely complicated textures that may not translate well to commissioned versions. Plus I think Bling Bling's suble aura will give the artist a little room to flex creatively to bring the whole composition together.)

I've about 22 commisioned pieces of my characters and there are some really good artists out there for this sort of thing .

Comrade is tops. Nice, clean, powerful. Dee Jay is great a well, but the new costume pieces make everything look kind of fad-ish right now. Once everyone and their brother stops abusing the enforcer sets, the charcters that integrate it best will shine.

I like Comrade the best. Overall though, you got a great eye and level of creativity. Kudos.

I give 3rd place to Cineplex, too.

But all the costumes are well done.

All great designs - I adore The Great Briton in particular. I also dig Manphibian. So nice to see someone else using the Galactic Goggles!

Though, I have to say that - as an artist - while Dee Jay does look great... the level of detail involved in his costume is making my hand hurt, and I haven't even been asked to draw him.

Off the cuff... I'd say Great Briton. Dee Jay looks great, and I'd be happy to (hypothetically) take a commission on a character like that, BUT I've also gotta be honest here-- the level of detail on the enforcer stuff is a lot like Vanguard armor(which I have personally drawn before). With any sane artist that values their work, that costume's going to come at a bit of a premium, because of the amount of time and effort reproducing the details would take. That's why I'm thinking GB. He's simple, but interesting, with a nice collection of colors to work with, and his theme brings up some immediate ideas involving flags or whathaveyou. Patriotic characters are great for that. Comrade could probably turn into some nice art with the right artist, too.
