It would be the greatest thing ever if, for the I11 event, they switch over to the alternate universe without warning and act like nothing is the matter. Just leave everyone to try to figure out what the heck just happened. It would be beautiful.

The only thing more awesome would be your avatar.

I only have one question:

Is this a major content overhaul or just another task force?

Personally, I'm hoping for the former.

Edit: There are days when I just love Google!
Food for thought

There's an awful thought, what if this is just a tf :<

Now, I was going on Zombie Man's idea that the 22nd amendment listed as the 20th amendment might mean that the real 20 and 21 never happened. But its just as possible that the real 9 and 10 never happened, or any of the ones before 22. Of course, it could also be a typo. The fact that it was specifically mentioned in the article makes me believe it wasnt an accident though.

Maybe we should make a list of odd and interesting things we notice in the article, not only to help others but help ourselves see things better.

Sorta like.

- 22nd Amendment listed as the 20th amendment
- Dr. Aeon mentioned, even though at that point in time He was Dr. Echo
- Swan is Manticore's Girlfriend in the article.
- Manticore becoming Manticore at a different time in his life

etc.

What I did just realize was that the snake wallpaper could actually be related to this, if Lord Recluse and Manticore are in South America...
It says on Wikipedia (if you trust it) that Quetzalcoatl was sometimes represented in Aztec Mythology with an Ouroboros symbol
connection maybe?

[/ QUOTE ]

Not quite. I think this is Dr. Aeon pulled from the future by Dr Echo. He won't take the name Echo until after this is all done and he goes forward in time to tell him all the stuff he needs to have done and the order they need to happen in.

The Abrams is one of the most effective war machines on the planet. - R. Lee Ermy.

Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?

A: You crash into another one.

could Aeon have caused the time disturbance, even by accident?

I'm pretty sure this is not an accident.

One interresting thing that hasn't been brought up yet: Mako

Let's look at the evidence:

CIA Operative, Mr. Fish, with a "shark-like grin"?

Hmmmmm....

Mako's been remade too.

hmm, Mako... maybe this is what happens to him if he never joins up with Arachnos... and if so, what happens to all of the other villains?

Don't know if this has been mentioned already but I'm going to throw it up here anywho. First, why the big "Woah!" about a possible alternate reality coming? If I'm not mistaken there is already one for CoH side called Praetorian Earth. It's definitely an alternate reality that you guys have access to and the only thing that could possibly be made new in those terms are either allowing the Villain side join in the fun there or giving us our own version of it.
As for the flashback stuff, I would love for it to happen and it seems that it's likely to be coming about with this next issue or the one after. The speculations have been pretty sound and not off the wall like "ZOMG! They're adding cooking as another thing you can do with the invention stuff!!!!". Either way, that's my two cents for what it's worth.

Now that I have had time to think about it and digest it, its definately time travel. This is just exactly the kind of thing I could see Dr. Aeon doing, and even operatives in Arachnos have a hard time keeping him under control. I can see Lord Recluse's forbiddence of time travel in the Rogue Isles was more the justified from his perspective, of course, he was messing with time travel himself with his "Recluse's Victory".

I'm wondering now how extensive the changes will be if Arachnos is largely gone as an organization from the Rogue Isles. For one thing, all those Arachnos bases may be disappearing, Grandville itself will probably undergo a huge remodeling! Imagine that, all that lag going away from Grandville because all the Arachnos architecture will not be there in the time alteration. No lag, no turreted walls, no vertical hassles, no Arachnos Flyier to hunt for a badge..... O.O-!!! Waitaminute! I still have to get that Arachnos Flyier badge!

Or manticore's parents dying at a different time in his life. coh comic number 7 page 20ish. Justin is definitely a child.
BAB wasn't put into a coma in the comic
BAB is a member of the gardians (which sort of appear to be the vindicators) not the phalanx (even though he's semi-retired from the phalanx)

I still think it definitely has something to do with the Aztecs/Quetzalcoatl - Mu and Oranbega maybe?

Also: Put me down in the camp of "The Change is spreading back". I could swear Aracnos was still ruling the Rogue Isles in the last issue. Is this going to end with Nemisis taking control of the USA in the 1800s?

Read some more posts and saw some stuff on the 5th so I reread the article. In comparison to things on the lines of the 5th I pulled something together sorta that seems reasonable. IF the 5th were to come back this issue may have a taste of it in there. The 5th's disappearance was during our "generation" of superpeople. If they were pushed into hiding back in the late 1940's to early 1950's it'd be reasonable that by our time they'd have most likely reared their heads back up by then.
Though I don't know if evidence would point to the 5th's revival in our timeline they may have been beaten down and returned by our time in other realities.
