Lovely, this is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I have an 8x8 plot and just looking for ideas. With just me and my alts, It'll take me a while to build up to have that many telepads, but it gives me something to shoot for. Thanks!
Well, here is a somewhat minimalist design. It is a transport hub base mainly to give alt goups a common means of transportation.
Top down view.
Isometric view. (only background was photoshopped

Telepad rooms 1-3 go to city zones, while telepad rooms 4-5 are to hazard zones.
The only zone left out is Crey's Folly, thanks to easy access from either Brickstown or the Rikti Crash Site.
This base has grown recently to 8x12.

Thanks, looks good. With just me and 10 alts I doubt I'll ever have one that big or nice, but it's something to shoot for. We started out with about 600k prestige though, got about 200 left so it's a start. I'll be posting pics of mine soon.

I just started working on mine last week so I'm not really ready to post picks of mine, but I'd like to steal, errr, GET some ideas from others if I can...

This is our villain base, for the villain group Eurostar on Champion. We're about as small as you can get, only one teleporter and one workshop. We should scale down to an oversight room, but I'm not the guy in charge of base building so I've left that much alone.

Very Nice. I have an Oversight room, so what's the difference between having an Oversight Room and a workshop?

Guide to Base Teleporters
We're about to expand our plot, but here's what we have so far, on a 8x8:
A Spartan sewer entrance opens up into the grand hall, where meetings are held. Behind it, the library, where control items are placed.
Further down, a workshop, , the dorms, , and finally, the generator room.
Aimed for a livable space carved out from ancient ruins.
Very nice....I like the Library Setup.
Once i get an extra 2 million i want to go for an indoor japanese garden look in a large recreation room with staggered flooring and lots of those paper light stands. Atm its just pretty much functional and boring 
but I mention my aim as I think it is a nice idea.
Be nice for one day to say "post ya sexy bachelor pads!" or "Ladies and Gentlemen I give you my crib!"...well if Icon is popular Im sure changing rooms wouldnt be too far behind. Add to that extra storage space for items you wouldnt feel safe leaving in the SG base or would rather be sure to keep for personal use later if in a large SG would be a fine thing.
I know its all been suggested time and time again before but "such dreams" *shrugs*.
hey sorry for the question but how can i post a pic of my sg? its on Infinity and i want to post pictures of it but all i have is a camera phone, i see all these nice pictures, any help?
Use the in-game print screen function (usually the printscreen key).
In your cityofheroes folder (where the game is stored on your computer), there will be a "screenshots" directory where all the screenshots go.
Take the picture you want and post it on an image hosting site like photobucket or imageshack, or your own webspace, etc.
Finally link to where you've put the picture.

Seconded. I used photobucket, and it took about 5 minutes to setup an account, and 5 more to upload the base pics.
