Statesman's Watch Reserve is an interesting small base, used primarily for our 50s to store personal stuff, hamis, io sets, etc.

And here are a few improvements to a tiny concept base i've been toying with.... my cloud castle ---- Skydwellers.

Lastly, another concept base of a sort, woodelves of croatoa... still in conceptualization stage..:-)

Just a suggestion, but why not just one of you send a PM with a link to a tread that people have signed off on, like a petition. That way Positron does not need to sift through multiple messages. His time is valuable, and I'm sure you'd appreciate him not wasting his time reading the same message over and over.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well petitions are against board rules and are prolly rather ignored by the devs.

I do agree that they dont want to read the same message over and over, and a unified post from an organizational standpoint suggesting improvements would be probably well recieved by the devs.

Perhaps we could post this in the 'suggestions and ideas' section of this forum..? As we are really suggesting that more attention paid to SGs and bases would make a great improvement..:-)

    GL and GREAT building..:-)

  4. I have to agree....It sure would be nice to know what is happening from a devs viewpoint concerning the bases..:-)

As it stands now, we remain rather in the dark pertaining to the status of a few very wanted and needed base items, such as the CoP, robo-surgery, various bugs, raiding issues, etc.

If something is being worked on, an occasional 'we're still working on it' would help ease the COX base building collective mind..:-)

COX is more than just a game to arrest bad guys and earn badges, there are enormous levels of socialization taking place here.... base building is a very important part of this game that needs much more attention than it seems to be getting..:-)

    GL and GREAT building..

Children of the Damned - Infinity Villain base

Here is another project that unfortunately went astray... as some of you know, Statesmans Watch had a nice birthday party in June, a special club was created in the base for it... unfortunately, our base was hit by the Big Bad Base Bug the day before the party... and the room went unused... shame, but i did manage to catch some screenies before the demise... :-) They did repair our base, but unfortunately after the party was over...:-(

Gush away Mimi....:-) AWESOME group SJS..:-) If you like RP, I would highly recommend SJS!!! Great group of players there indeed..:-)

Thought i would update this thread with SWs latest. We are not much in to educating new players, moreso just pile driving baddies with experienced ones.

Statesman's Watch comprises mainly experienced heroes who have fun badge collecting and taking on new issues with vigor! We do enjoy helping out new players, but mainly get into the game grind and figuring out different ways to obliterate the bad guy. Lots of variables in this game, and we love to explore them all..:-)

We started out one year ago primarily as a PVE SG and have since reached out to other areas of the COX experience, such as badge collecting, designing an award winning base, crafting, and our newest edition, a PvP team.

We have recently started an elite PvP Team in hopes of becoming a strong competitor in the PvP area of COX. Arena battles, kickball, gladiator tournies, etc.

So if you are an experienced player and into PVE, Statesman's Watch may be for you. Comprised of four individual groups, the main is currently ranked #25 on Infinity server, and with our original SG - Faith of the Fallen, SW Reserve, SW PvP Team and a rich coalition roster, we run TF's, and power teaming almost daily. (We do mentor, but sry no PL'ing as in the words of our Xog2 "I don't pay 15 bucks per month to sit at the door")

If you are into PvP or just interested in exploring a new COX adventure, you may wish to look into the Statesman's Watch Elite PvP Team, where 'ownage' is our middle name, 'fun' is to blame, and 'competitive teaming' our main game. PvP is not just owning or being pwned in sirens call, it is yet another awesome fun COX experience that most do not realize. Team competition is GREAT fun!!!... come on down and give it a go..:-) No purchase neccessary..:-)

Contact me in game @branche or our PvP captain @vamperio for more information. Or visit our website at www.statesmanswatch.com

    GL and GREAT teaming..:-)

Hey folks. I've been doing more work on my mini-base lately, mostly to fill out some of the details that lacked and cover over some of the blatant eyesores. Here are some pics of the results, with commentary:

The Entry Hall(2) has gotten a lot of work, mostly in the addition of a skylight (frame top right), and the filling of the wallspace below it, which before was a visual annoyance. The two colors on my banners have been lightened to make them more visible in the low light of the base.

The addition of the skylight slightly altered the lighting in the Laboratory.

The Main Hall (viewed HERE from the infirmary and HERE from the entry hall) has had many major additions. One, seen in the view from the infirmary) is the addition of banners labeling the entryway to the infirmary. The other is the addition of a few decorative pieces to the Leader's Office, some additional work rearranging the Study, and an as-yet incomplete museum in the future traversal hall from the main hub to what will be the meeting hall (not pictured).

The most work has gone into The Infirmary, which has been well overhauled recently. New are the banners for the officers of the supergroup (frame right) used to cover up difficult wall-space, the waiting room (frame bottom left), the supply counter and reception desk (frame center right), and many many details in the newly-equipped Operating Room.

That about covers the tour. Pics from before the changes can be seen HERE.

Final Note: Yes, I posted this to two boards. Yes, I know I'm not supposed to do that. I apologize.

Thanks for the compliment, General Hospital. Wish I could take credit for the Skylight idea, but more creative minds thought of that.

Branche... the way you spelled out your SGs name in base is hysterical. Great job!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thanks.... like the skylight idea... i wish i could say it was original... but ... alas.. the first base i saw with the name spelled out like that was 'The Malevolent' VG on Infinity... :-) No idea who came up with it first... but it is very cool...:-)

My personal SG now has an awesome skylight to help my garden grow...:-) Lots of great ideas coming from this..:-)

    Statesman's Watch

We are rather new, (6 months old as of this post) and growing rapidly. Spawning from a number of very experienced players from Faith of the Fallen SG, Statesman's Watch members enjoy a very nice base, decorated well and highly functional..:-)

Our members enjoy fast paced high damage teaming as well as relaxed fun teams... great tactics and strategic play... most of our members have been playing a long while and are frequently found in Hamidon Raids, Task Force teams, heaving power mishing or just hanging out in Statesman's Pub in the base.

I have found our membership to be very friendly cool people that i really enjoy teaming with. Allways welcoming new people... :-) Just find one of us in the game, send a tell to me here, or contact @branche.

Good Luck and Good Teaming to you all..:-)

  13. Nice post....:-)

I particularly liked mentioning the use of an actual "language" to communicate to teammates. While using coloquial or slang terms may be cute, it is also rather cryptic to some could be insulting to others and certainly NOT a very effective way of communicating. When in doubt, use an actual language..:-)

I originally thought the term Pwn to be gaelic, similar to my toons name "Pwca" (phooka), from Shakespeare's Midsummer Nights Dream.

I have only recently realized that the term PWN, not only stands for the "Professional Womens Network", but also means to brutally destroy an enemy...hehe

  14. OH YA...

Please don't edit the current STRAIGHT female hair style, nothing wrong with it to begin with. Rather ADD another straight if you like, but most ALL my toons use the current straight style and the new style on test doesnt work with any of them.

The new straight when paired with the 'youthful' head, causes the bald spot to be very aesthetically disturbing.

Best NOT to fix what isnt broken..:-)

Leave it alone... leave it alone.. leave it alone... PLEEEEZE:-)
