I have to agree....It sure would be nice to know what is happening from a devs viewpoint concerning the bases..:-)
As it stands now, we remain rather in the dark pertaining to the status of a few very wanted and needed base items, such as the CoP, robo-surgery, various bugs, raiding issues, etc.
If something is being worked on, an occasional 'we're still working on it' would help ease the COX base building collective mind..:-)
COX is more than just a game to arrest bad guys and earn badges, there are enormous levels of socialization taking place here.... base building is a very important part of this game that needs much more attention than it seems to be getting..:-)

I agree. We need to see more effort in the bases, or at least know where they're going. As a base builder, it pains me to see no major progress basically since I started playing.

Just a suggestion, but why not just one of you send a PM with a link to a tread that people have signed off on, like a petition. That way Positron does not need to sift through multiple messages. His time is valuable, and I'm sure you'd appreciate him not wasting his time reading the same message over and over.

I actually love building its something to break the cycle of get mission, complete mission. A few ideas i would like to see for bases.
A storage bin for recipes that can be shared across the sg
A storage bin for invention salvage that can be shared across the sg
Fix the items of power
SG badges that could go toward invention creation
(ex: Your SG has created 100 lvl 10 damage IO's. Enabling all invention tables in your base to create the IO while only requiring the salvage)
New permission options that separate the storage bins.
(ex: set it so all members can get the inspirations but not enhancement bins).
Another thing, SG bases are not exactly game breaking. A lot of people I've spoken too hate all the cost.
Why is there so much restriction to prestige gaining, it just doesn't make sense.
I dont see how gaining both prestige and inf past 34 can't be allowed.
High Cost, buggy features. ATM all a base can really provide is telepads.
Well GB thanks for the suggestions..maybe we will do that, however the decision is not mine alone to make, i merely started this thread to entreat the base building collective to assist me and my fellows in our efforts, what we have proposed is not the only way, it may not even be the correct way, but so far everything (I) have ever seen that tries to get a response from a dev on the CoP and bases in general is met with silence.
Your suggestions are welcome, and if you can get 100 people to /sign a thread for the CoP and bases in general then i would happily PM that link to positron instead of trying what we are now. however the sheer difficulty of getting 100 people to notice a single thread, and agree with what it is saying, and /sign it is, well a hassle (IMO) but i still refer to base builders as a collective because that is honestly what we are, we dont have an official in-game organization, we enjoy what we are given, Branche has basically dominated the art feature of base design, but even she has said that she would like some new things. And there are the people who raid, I myself have never raided because guardian is not really all that active in raiding. But there are people out there who dont even know what an IoP, the CoP, or a base raid is! They think of bases as glorified storage centers, med centers, and teleport hubs, while bases could be so very much more.

Do you honestly think the Devs are going to respond to a mass PM spam?
By doing this you make it LESS likely, not more, that Positron will address this issue. Why? Because if Devs are seen to respond to what's basically spamming, then any time anyone feels entitled to a bit of Dev attention in future, they'll look back on this as a precedent and try to flood some other Dev's inbox.
There is ALREADY a big list of player concerns, including the Base Raids and CoP, which we have been assured WILL get Dev attention. It's Ex Libris's 'big list'. If you want to do something constructive, then get behind that instead of trying to mailbomb Devs.
Hey, they've never even payed attantion too a couple pm's about this, if alot of people at once pm him, we'll get answers, personaly, why is it so hard too add in items that are already in game? Thats just the tip of the ice berg, plus they cant ignore alot of pm's about this, for once they'll know that we want a responce pronto, heck Sadoko, havent you even noticed that not a single dev has ever posted here once except for Light_Houses generic response. Thats just me though, btw perhaps BaseBuildersInc. could be the collective? 
I mean, its been 4 issues, almost 2 years now, sure bases have gotten a few things, the ent change is my favorite of them, I understand about coding and testing and everything else that gets put into this game, but how hard is it too at least put most of the items from the cox game world at least, I mean, we have too make refridgerators out of cabinets.

Robo..i have taken multiple suggestions into account, and yes Lady Sadako i read your posts here and in the dev digest (unnoficial CoP feedback thread) and also on the thread i started in the suggestions and ideas forum. I will be Pming a community Rep soon to get an official discussion thread posted here in the base building forum, that should solve all the problems people have been seeing with the threads that i started. And as for the threads i started they were to both garner support, and alert people to our ideas, wishes, desires...ect.
Also Lady Sadako, you keep mentioning Ex Libris's big thread but i have been unable to find it, Please link it to this thread.

Sure Positron can just do a mass delete of his inbox, but playing the waiting game hasn't gotten the base community anywhere either, now has it? If you keep on doing what you've always done, you will always get the same result. Feel free to keep posting in the unofficial CoP thread. That's gotten things really moving in dev land, now hasn't it?

I've been given more information by Devs first-hand than anyone else I know, and all I've ever done is be polite and patient.
You can quote the First Amendment all you like, but spamming is spamming, and those strongarm tactics won't get you a result. Like I said, if they respond to that, they'll set a precedent.
Sadako as the OP i did say that i would contact a community rep, and i tryed to make the PM version as polite as possible..noone else but people in this thread have shown interest in PMing Posi thus far and probably wont..so i will ask the community rep to create an official discusiion thread here for all things base. please stop sniping...everyone not just sadako..we have all made our points.

I'm not sniping at all. I'm just strongly advising you not to do this, because for one thing it won't get you anywhere, and for another, it could get you in trouble with the mods.
You've already gone against what's considered acceptable on the forums by cross posting. Encouraging people to spam a Dev could easily get you banned. I'm not saying that to be a goody two shoes, I'm saying that because I'm just as frustrated as you are, and you're in danger of shooting yourself in the foot.
This kind of call to arms never works. I know it's frustrating, but that doesn't mean this is a good idea.
i did say that noone else was PMing or posting..but to be safe i will shut down the other threads anyway, they were mainly data collection and advice gatherers..and as long as noone posts in them they will fade into anonimity.
