Guide to Base Teleporters
Well I would show you my fire room but sadly......1015 torches/burning objects is well........not enough for the graphics engine to handle and therefore I cant show anyone, including my sg members. while I was making it you were walking on fire the entire room. that was SCHWEET! but alas the graphics engine of the game limits to 1014 items (game crashed on the 1015th and now nobody can get into the base) hopefully its fixed soon and ill rethink my design.
So far, all I'm seeing is Circle of Thorns style Arcane, and lab style Tech. Is that all that's possible? No plush mansion looks or cave lairs or abandoned apartments?
Well, those decorating sets mesh a little more explicitly with the Tech and Arcane functional placeables and craftables.
Perhaps it might take a little more creativity, a little more time, and a little more Prestige for more base designers to get comfortable and familiar with mixing the functionals with, say Sewer or Office decor.
Why does everybody put the tech control and power items in their arcane basees? There are arcane versions that don't clash with the surrounding you know.

Familiarity, I suppose.
Although, there are arguments to be made for mixed-tree bases.

The idea here was a retro-tech lair. As my villain is on the run from Malta, he can't afford to have his entire base kitted out with the shiny new Tech Stuff, only a couple well-concealed rooms at the back of the place.

The Voodoo Dolls are pleased with their new base. Fully functioning with Control, Power, Infirmary and Telepad with two destinations. Some pictures below:
