I been fooling around creating rooms.
This is what our VG meeting room looks like at the moment.
Walking in.
Flying in.
Enjoy!

Well done! That's one of the better rooms I've seen. Plus, thank you for not going with the tired "tech" format.

I concur. Nice entrance. Want to almost make me join your VG!

I just got to say you people are doing impressive work! I mean all of you.

Every thought about allowing User-Created maps to be submitted to supply new tilesets to CoH? Imagine how many tilesets you guys could have if you allowed the community to create their own maps. They would have to be submitted and approved.... Just a random idea....
An idea that's been suggested over a million times before and shot down due to the influx of "bad" designs over the small percentage of "good" designs.
Anyway back to our regularly scheduled program:
Power Genarator Room (Police Force Base)
Police Force Database, still under construction.
Forensics Lab (Workshop) Police Force
Forensics lab wider shot
Police Force Main HQ Wide Shot
Police Force Recreational Room
Police Force Conference Room
Police Force Main Hallway Entrance

Ours is a minimalistic base - one room! One thing I'd like to change is the portal, it's kinda huge when you're going just for a lounge area in a tiny supergroup (3 or 4 weekend warriors, mostly).
We do however have a small study area in one corner, complete with refreshments (ok, one refreshment).
In the other corner is the planning area - a couch sufficient enough for all 4 SG members and a chair for a guest. There's even a balcony for VIPs, and a minifridge is provided as well.
The opposite corner is the relaxation area (no pets allowed, please walk them outside the base .
The final corner is dedicated to the ah, facilities. They are surrounded by bookshelves for obvious reasons You can see it in this base overview shot.
All items are stock, of course. We did notice a dearth of coffee tables and regular fridges, please remedy this lack

This one makes me happy.
Ours had some interior design going, but it was deleted by our "Overlord" for silly stuff like Power and Control!... bah!

I love your ops room. That looks awesome.
BTW, does anybody know when the lighting features are going to be looked at? It seems like half of them don't actually produce any light. This is especially annoying one stuff like the recessed tech lights, because those would be perfect for my base if they only put out some light. :/

Roof/Wall lights only produce light around where they are placed, so to get them to light up the floor you need them placed as low as possible
I've got pics on photobucket to post, but I must not have done it correctly. Can anyone tell me how to post the links like the rest of you have?

That should do it!
Thanks! I'll try that again. It didn't seem to work last time.

OK - here's my second attempt. This is the base for my once-a-week group. It is currently just the entrance and a 4x4 decorative room. We are saving for the real deal, but for now this gives us a place to meet when needed.
The tour:
Entrance room
Looking into the base
Turn left for the laboratory
Turn right for the reception area
Forward for the meeting room
Downstairs to the bar
The bar/lounge area
Aerial view of TV area

If you want a fridge, just place two White Wall Cabinets vertically flush against each other. Like this.
Have you tried the Wall Sconces or the Recessed Tech Lights though? As far as I can tell, they produce no light whatsoever. The hanging wooden lights don't produce any either, but I don't see how they would anyway. I'm half convinced they're just in the wrong tab.
Very nicely done! The best base I've seen thus far!
Nicely done - I like it!
We put our robot to use. Two words: Open bar.

My Previous Abode before building my Base
The Main office, with plenty of room to store my stolen goods
Nice Widescreen Plasma TV for Watching TV and sport, also some secondaries for security and diagnostics
Some empty bottles i havn't cleared up yet from celebrating my latest heist
Practising the little known Art of Desk Surfing
Well, i hope you liked it, i think its pretty good for a 1 person SG with an under 20k cost.

Intended Style
(Cut from the S.I.N.I.S.T.E.R. web site)
Ancient with splatches of high-tech, to fit a mixed-origin group such as SINISTER. Also intended to give the feeling that SINISTER is a group with a lot of history.
To give this impression the following textures are used:
Floor: Stone patterns
Lower Walls: Stone patterns
Higher Walls: Stone for sturdier rooms with only equipment, softer plaster/wood lattice for rooms intended to be "lived in".
Roofs: Stone or wood, depending on the higher wall.
The plaster/wood lattice texture used is really from the oriental style package, but it works reasonably well as early 20th century Art Deco.
The base is kept rather dark, with occasional spot lighting. This is to give the proper villaneous conspiracy feeling, but with mostly flame-based lighting it feels surprosingly cosy.
Expect environment-friendly materials and lots of green plants, since the main architect is Wildthistle, who is part Devouring Earth and Eco-terrorist.
Really love the entrance room CaptA very greek/roman
Here are some 70 or so I saved from the Beta boards.
I tried to save the posting they appeared in as well.
Thanks! I was going for that "serenity" feeling as soon as you enter the base. I like the lighting there. I think the first thing that you should feel when you enter a base is that "I'm home" feeling.
