  4. please leave the two layer capes! after seeing some of the screen shots of other folks, it does look amazing! I'll be picking up the box for me and my wife, and i know we will be trying out the 'layering' of it all at least.
  5. i've been hit by at least one, maybe two one star bandits. up to 7 plays though and back up to 4. hopefully it will stay that way

    wow thanks posi!! it takes quite the fortitude to admit that you made a bad decision. i hadn't heard abuot it but glad to hear that you changed your mind, and came forward to tell us the story about it. again, the devs in this game rock and it's one of the reasons i've been here for 4 years+

    Bug Description: Friends tab is continually popping up after being closed. It has happened on all my characters since i13. it takes anywhere from immediatly, to 1 or 2 seconds for the friends tab to pop up after i close it. i even tried not touching the keyboard to see if it was an off bind and it was still popping up.

    I made slightly over 60 million in one day by doing an ITF, a few missions, and then another ITF. Guess Im gonna log in on live and see if I can get one started now, time to farm before this goes live.

    bingo! with recipe drops/salvage drops/AND a random recipe at the end of 8 ITF's, i usually make over 100 million. Usually. I don't doubt there are times were i only made 5-8 million.... minimum.

    Not to mention Trial recipe drops. a devastation Triple costs at the market 15,000,000(quoting smurphy). Now it costs 275 merits. that's 11 ITF's. I could just have done 2-3 ITF's and made the money to buy it under the old system.

  12. nice, i think folks got the wrong idea about the length of time being logged out but it'll all be straightened out. I like how my altitis will be worth some nifty badges atleast

    So to summarize my take on all of this, We get free stuff for being logged out like normal. You don't have to do it consecutively, it will add up from all your normal log-out positions.... It sounds pretty awesome, thanks devs.
  13. i hope this doesn't effect the free-specs that are given out now, but i atleast do appreciate the more options it does give those that havn't earned the veteran reward respecs yet. Though IMO, it's way over priced, $5.99 and even $4.99 would have been a much better price point.
  14. i hope your ncstore doesn't break when everyone goes to buy extra slots on the first day. i'll probably be picking up the wedding pack and GoodvEvil pack for me and my wife before the Ncsoft credit card server breaks from over use :P

    my hats off to the surviving 15. It is quite impressive since there were some awesome issues in 2007 and to have actually stuck through with CoH in that madness. I'm sure it wasn't easy and it makes me all that more dedicated to sticking you the devs and CoH. If i ever run into one of you, you got a nights of free drinks waiting for ya. Thank you.

    New Design: During the 21 days you hold the Item, you are not susceptible to losing your Item of Power.

    Future Design: During the 21 days you hold the Item, you are susceptible to losing your Item of Power in PvP combat.

    Losing your IoP's in PvP combat is an integral part of the design and of bases (otherwise, what good are secure plots and defense items).

    nice, which means these first incarnations we arn't going to be able to get our IoP's stolen. neat, i like that you are releaseing the trial.
    though when you say (now larger) bonus, it also makes me think you increased the IoP percentages to be larger. any truth to this assumption?

  20. all i want is being able to use salvage to make enhancements. Not only is it a great idea to get more people into SG mode and salvage, but it solves the infleunce problem people complain about with not being able to buy all the enhancements they want.

    AND a redname has never confirmed that you will get your prestige back if an object is destroyed in a real read. Real raids don't even work on test at the moment so don't listen to any players either cause they will just be lying to you or repeating wrong information. The fact is that this is still a mysterious factor that is discouraging people from commiting to base raids.

    and as Gadget Don pointed out, since there is an option for a base item that WILL increase the chance your stuff won't get destoryed, it seem preety likely that you will not get a Total refund of prestige on the items.

    *speculation time* of course the base chance that something is compeltly destoryed could only be 25%. (75% chance to keep) and the add-on item is 5% increase per add-on. now those arn't bad odds to start with and makes the add-ons very nice to have.
