Penelope Yin. I only really noticed when I did her arc twice. She's wearing pink or not At least it looks sporty. At an effort she could pass off as Penelope Pitstop.

Actually, not much of an effort...

When you consider the Lost in her arc are named Muxley (who sniggers. Muttley anyone?), Slag (and there's more but my memory fails me...)

Which got me thinking...do the Clockwork protecting her = the Anthill Mob?

And by that respect...Arbiter Sands looks very similar to the Hooded Claw.....

Damnit, Flea, now I have to level up a hero to see what you're talking about.

I watched the Wacky Racers religiously.

Spoiler Alert....

Penelope Yin's namesake from The Wacky Races is Penelope Pitstop, who drove car #5, the Compact Pussycat.

Between two missions towards rescuing Penelope and her father, you encounter these Lost bosses...:
<ul type="square">[*] Slag of Skyway [*] Gruesome of Galaxy [*] Ruffcut of Perez [*] Blast of Hollows[*] Ant of Atlas [*] Blubber of Steel [*] Muxley
They correspond to these Wacky Racers...:
<ul type="square">[*] #1, The Boulder Mobile with the Slag Brothers, Rock and Gravel [*] #2, The Creepy Coupe with the Gruesome Twosome, Big and Little [*] #10, The Buzzwagon with Rufus Ruffcut and Sawtooth[*] #6, The Army Surplus Special with Sgt. Blast and Pvt. Meekly[*] #7, The Bulletproof Bomb with the Anthill Gang [*] #8, The Arkansas Chugalug with Luke and Blubber Bear[*] #00 Dick Dastardly and Muttley &lt;snicker, snicker, snicker&gt;
Wacky Racers not appearing in the arc: Prof. Pat Pending; The Red Max; Peter Perfect.

Penelope's info refers to her as 'perilous'. There was a spin-off of the Wacky Racers called Perils of Penelope Pitstop.

Now, what we really need is a CoV arc where one has to stop that pigeon!

Wow.... I didn't notice that... I noticed Muxley of course, but didn't cotton on to the rest.

Ha! Neither did I! Even if whenever we did the "Find Muxley" mission I would start quoting the theme for "Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines" in the team channel:

Muxley, you snickering floppy-eared hound,
when courage is needed you're never around!
Those medals you wear on your moth-eaten chest
should be there for bungling, at which you are best!

Man, my brain is filled with some junk.

Heh wow, thats so neat! I never realized that!

I love how they put in stuff like that.

Spoilers.

In Doc's TF, you fight in succession Dr. Vezzini (Vizzini, the Sicilian who you should never go against when DEATH is on the liune) and then Dr. Humperdink (the Prince). I dont remember the one before or after and whether or not they corresponded, but I guess the writer was just as bored as us at that point in the TF.

This is awesome to the power of radical.

I had no idea, and I mean zero. And I'm old enough to remember the Wacky Races. Feh at my losing at meaningless!

Oh man. I should have seen it. I wouldn't t have seen it if you hadn't it pointed out. Excellent obfuscation.

Yeah. I loved those cartoons as a kid and I never made the connection in CoH despite doing that mission two or three times.

Coolness.

Blasphemy!

It was even better then the Laff-a-lympics.

Also, Dick Dastardly has always been in my top ten of favorite villains.

Him and Snidely Whiplash are tied for my top villain of all time slot.

Oh sure they aren't *GOOD* at being villains.

But hell if they aren't classic &lt;,&lt;

I suddenly have the urge to create a female character that ties men to railroad tracks now... &gt;.&gt;!
