Damnit, Flea, now I have to level up a hero to see what you're talking about.
I watched the Wacky Racers religiously.

Not to worry. . . cartoon boomerang, here in the states, is currently carrying it. . . They've also got Penelope Pitstop as well. . .
WOW- talk about a blast form the past. I had forgotten this entirely, until I clicked that link and the memories came flooding back.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane=)
Ask your cable provider to get you Boomerang(shameless plug I know) they have all of the classics.

Wacky Races were some good stuff as was the original Tony Curtis, Jack Lemon, Peter Falk, and Larry Storch and the Great Race
<QR>
Talk about strange... I read this thread earlier today, and when I turned on the TV tonight, expecting to watch Batman, Penelope Pitstop was on Boomerang.
And, now I'm going to be looking for that CD ^_^

You know, all of a sudden this thread reminded me (For no reason) of the Pac-Man Cartoon and King Arthur and the Knights of Justice.
...god, I am such a nerd.
Quick question that is a bit off topic, but who gives out the last mission string in Faultline?
Is it Agent G?
Many thanks in advance.
Yes, Agent G is the last stop.

This show ruled them all!
And to keep on Topic, I should add this Cartoon Intro.
...and just because.

Even better were the crappy knockoffs of the show. Such as Video Power, which featured a cartoon featuring the characters from various Acclaim games. These included Kuros from Wizards and Warriors, Tyrone the Basketball player from Arch-Rivals, Kwirk the tomato from... well, Kwirk, Bigfoot the Monster Trucks, and Max Force, one of the main characters of NARC.
Oh yeah, and Bigfoot talked.
Zombie_Man, I quoted your post in the Talk page for Penelope in ParagonWiki, not sure how it'd fit in the article but I thought it should be somewhere. Hope you don't mind.

Oh, and thanks a heap for putting that stupid Flying Machines theme song back into my head after all these years!
Nab him! Grab him! Stab him! Jab him! Stop that pigeon, NOW!
[/ QUOTE ]
If you get the "Saturday Morning Cartoons" music CD, they have a remixed version of that song combined with the Johnny Quest theme. They also have a bunch of other good song remixes, such as Gigantor, H.R. Puffnstuff, Underdog, and Speed Racer.

The very CD which is in my car's CD player as I type this. One of my favorites. Worth it for the Ramones cover of 'Spider Man' alone!

I have the CD sitting here in my office. People walking by always stop and look at it. Fat Albert theme by Dig is my personal favorite.

I'm honored. But ParagonWiki deserves it, since it was my source to dig up the names of the Lost Bosses.
Now, when one looks at Penelope Yin's info, how would one know that there was any discussion involved? Hate to think that there's all this extra information that goes unnoticed because there's no link or sign that it's there.

Yeah, but it would be nice if you knew before you pushed the button whether or not there was discussion there.
And upon further investigation, I've just discovered that there is such a mechanic... if there's no discussion, the discussion tab is a little bit lighter.
Live and learn.

Am I the only one that made the connection of Detective Frasenbacker to the show Due South? The mountie character in the show was named Fraser, and his husky was named Diefenbaker.
Detective Kowaccio is probably some TV reference as well, but I'm not getting it.

That was so obvious even I got it and I never watched the show.

He's a reference to the other two cops on Due South.
There was a long thread on the Test forum about the cop references in i8 but it's almost certainly been purged.
