Though I'm guessing an Incarnate will have a far easier time with Efficiency Expert than was the case before level-shifting, Lore, Judgement, et al.
He actually has Pither as a contact from running a set of newspaper missions in Grandville. I knew about the one-time tricky nature of the badge, so I haven't run any missions for him yet. I didn't know, but worried that I'd ruin my chance at the badge if I ran them before going full-villain. -
I'm a fairly casual but longtime player, and I've decided my badger needs to go red for a while, in an attempt to collect badges. Sky Hook is an energy/energy/force blaster. He's a 50 +3 Incarnate, though he doesn't have all his slots full of tier 4s yet (doesn't even have his Hybrid unlocked, actually).
He's been a Vigilante for a long while, so he has all the explore badges redside (except those in The Abyss and Mayhem missions). He's filled the bars on all the day job badges, so he'll get those pretty fast.
Just for completeness sake, and because I've never played a villain above level 12, I plan to go through all the arcs in Ouroboros.
On the other hand, I don't really want him to remain a villain for too long.
Any advice? Can anyone point me to guides or previous threads on the subject? -
They do, from time to time, have free reactivation weekends, on which all accounts are live, even if they haven't paid in years. I don't know when they'll be doing it again, though.

Another thing that will help you is to try to earn the badges that increase your recipe, salvage and auction storage slots. Then you can gather more before you have to dump any.
I've found that it isn't really worth the trouble trying to save common and uncommon salvage unless I'm going to use it soon. Influence is pretty easy to come by, so I don't worry too much about having to re-buy something recently sold, even at a significant loss. Annoying, but I'd find trying to precisely juggle salvage even more so.
Though that does get harder when some of the prices have gotten out of control. Even people with way too much influence should not pay 100,000 for common tech salvage. -

Not to dwell too off-topic, but when I win the lotteryone of these keyboards will be mine.... right after I get the "new" laptop.
To bring this back on-topic, maybe one of the dev cubicles should be equipped with a real hardcore rig

I had seen that guy's keyboards before, but never the laptop. Dear lord, I need me one of those laptops. That is gorgeous, and cooler than words can properly convey

I wonder how it does with heat dissipation. My laptop gets hot now, and it's not surrounded by wood.
The gears-under-glass top is awesome.
[/ QUOTE ]I bet it does fine with heat, as long as you put it on a table or desk. It has those nice legs that give it airflow underneath, and I bet he left the vents down there. -

Am I the only one that made the connection of Detective Frasenbacker to the show Due South? The mountie character in the show was named Fraser, and his husky was named Diefenbaker.
Detective Kowaccio is probably some TV reference as well, but I'm not getting it.
