"So, I picked a SO. Where do I get my SHO?"
[/ QUOTE ]
Sucks to be you, pay attention to the option list it's giving you and use a little common sense next time?
[ QUOTE ]
Who is going to pick a +3 SO over a SHO?
[/ QUOTE ]
Probably no one, but it does mean no more SHO's disappearing into the void...
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, people that now run it mor often than once a day get a small reward.
Still here, even after all this time!

I don't know when these will be hitting Training Room, but these will probably be the last big fixes in I7... onward to Issue 8!!!

* "Looping Sound Crash" - We think we MAY have this finally fixed.
* "Invisible Players/Enemies on Map" - Again, we think we may have this fixed.
* Choice table for Lord Recluse's Strike Force. - Upon completion of the mission, you will get a choice table, instead of the Enhancements simply being put into your tray (and if your tray is full, put into oblivion). You will NOT be able to pick the specific Synthetic Hami-O, but you will be able to choose a +3 level SO instead of the random SHOE if you want.
Yes this means that the Freedom Phalanx will drop SO's again.
I don't know when these will be hitting Training Room, but these will probably be the last big fixes in I7... onward to Issue 8!!!

How about...
PvP balance
PvP zone debt fixed.
Patron respec fixed
Actual dev interest in PvP?
Fury fix
and um this..

Developer releases are like bombs... set fuse and run away.
Everyone has things they like, and everyone has things they want fixed. Personally, I'd like to see some of the tailor bugs fixed, which I've been afraid to check because I can't spare the infamy to keep resetting my pants and jacket all the time. However, I have faith that the devs will get to everything eventually.

Issue 4, arena bug crashes.. almost i8..
WOAH!!! they are still here, amazing.

Now that's the best news I've seen since the TA and Archery fixes. Thank you.
Thanks for the update, Positron.
I have to say that I'm very disappointed to see that no fix for Teleport will be forthcoming until I8. Having a travel power that doesn't work is a major, festering annoyance, and one that affects far more players than any of the issues on your list.
The looped audio FIXED????
A change (albeit slight) to the LRSF??
I dont need wings now.
Seriously, The audio thing drives me freakin PSYCHO.

I get this strange feeling there will be Angel/Bird type wings... ;-)
But, yeah... wow, so I suppose it's fairly safe to assume that the November release date was just a precaution thing? Like, in case something went wrong?
The way things sound, the next patch to test, which, should be coming soon enough, will fix all these, and add the CoP (Thus explaining the long wait since the last patch.), and perhaps a day or two afterwards, we can expect the Pre-Download, and then another 2-3 days, and bam... I8!
Woo.
I'm all giddy now.

Either way, who cares about the Choice of a +3 SO. If it were something other then Dmg, Acc, Rchrg, EndRedux, then it would be great.
I was expecting to see the choice of your SHO rather then a stinking SO drop. I can get these SO drops from anywhere, via mission arc, Sirens Call and the numerous counts of other AVs/Heroes I fight in this game.
Allow us to chose which SHO we get, then that is some great news! As it is now, the SHO drops suck, I have a VG mate that has ran this SF damn near 20 times and each time he got a Damage/Range. Give the choice to us or change the percentages for these crap enhancements we all get.

I just want the trams to start working right again.
Posi. New content is great, but what long term players really want is for things like this to be fixed. It worked forever, then it broke, and has seemingly been ignore ever sense. I'd be happy if you announced that Issue 9 was entitled "Bug Hunt" and contained zero new content, but was instead a thorough cleansing of as many bugs as possible.
No new bugs til we fix the existing ones. Sound like a plan?
Trams are a graphics bug. Sure it's annoying; but does it really impair on your gameplay? How many times do you even use a tram anyhow, specially now there are porters to all zones?

Uh. No thanks.
There's only a handful of bugs a person might find throughout normal play. Not enough to warrant an entire issue devoted to fixing them, no matter how much the forum overblows their existence.

Definetly not.
Even the fixes WILL bring more bugs- facing facts, this game will never ever be bug free. No MMO will ever be bug free.
Trams not working properly- so- you get set back like, what, 30 seconds? If it bugs you that much just zone hop- Croatoa is the only area that you NEED to take a tram too.
"I'm not scared of anyone or anything Angie. Isn't that the way life should be?"
Jack Hawksmoor, The Authority.
Not to be harsh, Posi, but one of my VG's best players left the game due to memory leaks causing constant crashes for her.
Grandville's still a lag-fest that's not spawning its giant monster, though the gamemasters are still so fond of "working as intended".
Sonic powers still cause migraines.
Phase shift is still useless.
The players are still wondering what the devs intend for controllers, dominators, and stalkers to contribute to AV-level fights, much less Lord Recluse Strike Forces. Worse, the LRSF complaints have been rebuffed out-of-hand with comments that it's "supposed to be hard" - as though cookie cutter teams aren't capable of walking through the Phalanx in ten minutes.
The feature overview for I8 shows that, far from the "slight" proportionate favor heroes would be getting this time around, villains get virtually nothing, even less than heroes got in I6 and I7. Is this truly the case?
Badges remain horribly skewed. Zookeeper is now virtually impossible for villains to attain. Farms are necessary for many of the badges to get earned before 2010, especially the epics. Far from being a "difficult" badge to acquire in Recluse's Victory, as was promised, Isolator is simply very time-consuming. The RV version of Back Alley Brawler still gives debt. RV's two badge chains (heavies and pillboxes) feature strong disincentives for team play, but PvP is heavily team-based. The fusion generator SG badge is still broken.
Bases are still borderline content. Even aside from crashes, empowerment stations' bonuses are negligible, despite claims that they were there to give a good benefit to smaller groups. Since players have to give up influence/infamy and attendant badges to get primarily cosmetic bases, there's very little incentive to play with them at all.
Patrons are still buggy in their respecs, and despite promises to the contrary, are not particularly stronger than hero-side equivalent powers. Tests showed a 5% boost over the hero powers, a token bonus at best, and yet the relative strength of the PPPs was sold to us as the exchange for the inflexibility and lower overall utility in comparison to ancillary power pools. Sniper powers are especially suspect here.
PvP is still horribly one-sided, and absolutely unforgiving and unhelpful to newcomers. Two ATs are almost completely marginalized by an inspiration. Other power sets wield huge advantages in PvP, such as force field players' ability to push opponents out of pillboxes or confuse effects allowing "allied" characters to kill people respawning in hospitals. Brutes still have no fury bonus in PvP. Recluse's Victory is full of all kinds of griefing opportunities, since players who want the Blackguard/Justicar badges can have their targets despawned in the middle of fights, while players trying to get the 1000 point target in zones must prevent either side from winning to do so.
Don't get me wrong, Posi, you've got some good issues up, but as far as top? Some people have been questioning priorities such as these for a long time now. In other instances, we've been already told repeatedly that something is fixed, without a fix actually being effective.

sound loop - thumbs up even thoie it never effected me...
invisable people on the map - thumbs up even thoe it rarely effected me....
LRSF - I hate that TF.. I wont do it except for the badges .. I wont power level up some one just to do it... I think if people lost their SHO then its on them.. Not ON YOU... Where are the priorities?
Im slightly irritated that You all seem to think a persons OWN issues as not looking at their tray is more improtant than stable servers or like people want trenchcoats over I dunno the TRAMS being fixed..
Someone in your office has everything backwards as to what people actually want on this game or what is actually important compared to cosmetic whateverness.
There is a post : bugs you want fixed now
I would rather you payed attention to that post until every single bug on it is fixed than pay attention to people whining about they lost their SHO on a TEAM primarily consisting of people who power leveled up their alts just to farm SHO's in the first place. !!!!!

This is true, and something I wish people would get through their thick skulls. Constantly evolving code means there -will- be bugs. And a bug lasting a long time does -not- mean it's being ignored, either. Just means that it's more than likely extremely tricky to nail down.
Oh, yeah, and things like adding costume pieces and fixing text errors aren't slowing down the bugfixes for those who insist on carting out that old dead horse every time such a patch goes up...

Where's the bug fix for the patron respec? You guys don't even talk about it anymore and everytime its mentioned by someone you don't comment on it.

Well then that should be the quickest issue release ever. Sounds like a win/win to me.
If these bugs are so easy to fix, why have they persisted so long?
If Cryptic is truly devoted to keeping existing players, they need to fix what's there before moving on.
First, I want to thank you again for these Top Issues posts. Communication is doubleplusgood.
Second, I'm glad to see the sound loop and invisble mobs fixed. I haven't been on the LRSF yet, but I'm glad FP are dropping rewards again, it'll make it worth doing once I get someone high enough level.
Also, I want to bend your ear a bit on the Fury PvP problem. I'd really like to hear if it something is being done to fix it... Maybe inr the next Top Issues post? Please?

this was fixed already...twice actually..if you havent received your respec then petition
i got mine so maybe you dont get one...remember you actually have to do the arc..not just play a villian
and someone better tell the villians that the major fixes are for them so they stop complaining about favortism

Adding new features before fixing bugs is a choice a development organization can choose to make. There are valid reasons for doing so.
However, let me point out that Cryptic claims here that they do not (12/12 on the Joel Test, including the claim that they fix bugs before writing new code).
To be consistent they should either address these bugs prior to I8, or clarify their job posting.
